They took no responsibility for ripping the front bumper off my sons car during a tow service. They said that the bumper had been replaced before and it would not have happened if it had been the original bumper. It is a newer used car for us, the bumper was fine to us...and was towed just the other day by another AAA service provider....now it is zip tied to the car! Which CMT didn't even do for us, the station we towed it to did it. No apology no nothing. Just rude service at the shop. Not even a suggestion of where to get it fixed! read more

I paid $59 for the Groupon for oil change at "CMT Towing and Repair" in Woburn on September 29, 2023. I had the similar experience as another customer even though we do not know each other In addition to the $59, they charged me another $15 for labor, fee and tax, total $74. The technician changed oil in the parking lot, very unprofessional. I change oils a few times every year for more than 20 years in various states and cities. No shop does it in a parking lot. The oil was leaking on the ground and causes pollution. The guy at the shop said the additional charges are in the fine print. But the only fine prints on Groupon: * May be repurchased every 30 days * Not valid toward taxes or gratuity * Limit 3 per person On the receipt: * Labor: $8.64 * Fee: $5.18 * Tax: $0.86 I should only pay $0.86 tax, but they charged me $14.68. I certainly will not tip them $14. Full synthetic oil change at "Hometown Automotive" in Stoneham cost $45 on their website. I used to do it at Woburn Toyota dealership for less than $60. This shop? $74. Ridiculous. "CMT towing and repair" tows cars for AAA, but it is not a place for oil change or anything else. I made a mistake buying this from Groupon and you should not do it. If the owner of this business wants to fix their mistakes, give me a call or send me email mahouse2011@gmail.com in 10 days. After that I will repost this review in many other places. read more

I had a flat tire and contacted AAA. Sean from CMT Towing & Repair arrived within 20 minutes of my service request. In fact, he arrived at my car before I could get there, and when I arrived 4 minutes later, he had already jacked the car up and was taking the flat tire off. A prior repair tech (6 months ago) had had difficulty finding the spare tire under the vehicle, but Sean knew exactly what he was doing, lowering the tire efficiently and with alacrity. I couldn't believe how quick the whole experience was (having seen it take 3 times as long in the past). I think Sean finished it all and got me back on the road within 15 minutes. My Harley had an electrical issue and wouldn't start after filling the tank at a gas station. Called AAA for a tow and they told me it would be about 1 1/2 hr wait. I was ok with that. 25 minutes later Zachary showed up with a tow truck. I'm always nervous about the bike being on a flatbed but Zachary was very good tying it down rock steady. He was knowledgeable and friendly, you can't ask for more especially on a 90degree day. Thanks Zachary. read more
