I will continue to do everything possible to avoid going to the dealer for service. Caste Systems Performance is top notch when it comes to Porsche service and repairs. Always great work, done right the first time. They always make time for me when emergency repairs are needed. Thank you guys for keeping my Porsche running smoothly! :-) Kathleen D.

So you live and learn. I bought an Audi A5 a few years back. We have been going to the dealer for…read morework since we had it. My wife ran into a gentleman who recommended CSP, said the prices were fair, great mechanics, etc. When it was time to have the next service done, I drove there to make an appointment. During our time together, James said it looked like I needed brakes and rotors along with my oil change, but said he would investigate and get back to me when the car was there. James called me the next day and quoted me the brakes and rotors, along with the regular maintenance, which would be $1800. Holy S**t! I have never paid that much for work on any of my vehicles. So I had told him to do just the oil change, and I would wait on the brakes, in which he responded, " I hope you can stop," not very customer oriented. Anyway, after my $322 oil change, I won't ever go back there, I'm sure they are very talented mechanics, but I can't afford those prices. Oh, and by the way, my mechanic checked the brakes, and pads had plenty of meat on them, and rotors were just fine. Like I said earlier, " You live and learn"

Loyal customers for 12 years and, yet, they choose to scam us...dishonesty should not be taken…read morelightly! We brought the car for diagnostic, they called us telling that timing belt was worn out and needs replacement. The price estimate they gave us was $2000. We said that we needed to think about it because it sounded like too much for the job. They went ahead and replaced the timing belt (without replacing water pump!!! Water pump replacement should be done along with timing belt replacement-common safety practice everywhere). They told me that they spent 8.4 hours on replacing the timing belt (normal time for a professional is 2 hour, an amateur can do it in 3 hours). They charged me for the Timing Belt Kit $495.95 PLUS the belt itself $89.99 (although it is normally sold with the kit as a package for $365 maximum price). The total bill came up to $1975, and that is WITHOUT OUR CONSENT because we trusted this business for 12 years, they decided to go ahead without our approval of the estimated fee. In comparison, local Acura certified dealership charge $1555 (including tax) for changing timing belt WITH water pump replacement!!! Their professional statement, just like every other shop I asked, was that water pump should be replaced at the same time as timing belt for further engin preservation as water pump has the same wear and tear estimate as the timing belt. After speaking with Casarella's about this, they told me that they can replace the water pump at additional cost. After a day of back and forth meaningless texts, they reduced their bill to 6.4 hours of labor time, which clearly shows the how the price scam works, and their dishonesty because it only takes 2 hours to replace the timing belt at a professional auto shop!! That dishonesty in addition to overcharging for the replaced parts and NOT replaced water pump. OUTRAGEOUS!!

After 10 mins they told us it's a tire repair which would cost $450.00 to repair. Literally 5 mins later, they said they need to replace the whole brake system for $1,500.00. We bought the issue with the owner and told it's necessary as all 4 brakes in our 4 wheels are broken. Then, the same mechanic took a test drive, overheard our conversation, told the owner and us there's also a motor issues and need replacement which adds another $1,350.00. I'm not even sure if they even diagnosed the shrieking noise based on the 10 mins test drive and proposed insane fluctuating prices based on their diagnosis. We did not go with them in the end due to feeling like this is either a scam or very incompetent. Beware, might be a huge scam! Update: Went to another car shop and told us the issue was misaligned wheels to the car which end up costing $350.00 to fix. So yeah, not sure what they diagnosed.
