I'm so glad we have a Buc-ee's in VA! i'm going to have to start another savings account just so i can buy more stuff. i bought way too much from here. the food, snacks, candy, bakery, desserts, drinks, etc. are all on point. prices are incredibly reasonable. employees are amazing, they do such a great job working as a team and keeping this huge place clean, organized, and moving smoothly. the restrooms are great too, spacious and clean with plenty of toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. This place is dangerous.

It is impressive for what it is--almost like a Walmart or Target interpretation of a highway gas stop. It's enormous, brightly lit, efficient, and clearly designed to get a lot of people through quickly. The food is surprisingly good value. The brisket sandwich was around $7-8, with a generous amount of meat, served hot and fresh. I also tried their version of a Cuban and a couple of other sandwiches, and they were all good. Is it the best brisket or Cuban you'll ever have? Probably not. But if you're traveling and want a fresh, hot, satisfying sandwich immediately, it does that extremely well. Gas prices also seemed very competitive, and they have ethanol-free gas, which is particularly convenient for boats, campers, and other equipment. And yes, the famous bathrooms really are plentiful and very clean--which matters a lot on a road trip. There's nowhere to sit and eat, and despite being visible from the highway, the sheer size of the property makes it feel like a bit of a detour to actually get there. But overall, it's an impressively well-run operation: good food for the price, inexpensive gas, clean bathrooms, and tremendous convenience. Definitely worth a stop when you're passing through.

So he deleted the roll she rang up and proceeded to scan one individual can, five times! That brought the price to nearly $16! I turned on my friend's son, and said "he is ripping us off big time!" I felt sorry for the lady at the register, she was clearly frustrated and truly apologetic for what he was doing. We also had an issue with the cheese we purchased. We should have known the price price was too good to be true. $3.99 a pound. So we bought two hunks of cheese, one was supposed to be American, when we got home, we discovered that he gave us horseradish cheese. Not only that, it is not real cheese. It is processed cheese food! It is truly nasty. We can't even eat it. We will never return to the store. I feel sorry for the lady that was working the counter, I don't see her staying there much longer under the new management. He is a total jerk.

They seemed to have pretty much everything that a traveler might want or need, including snacks, a deli, and more. Many other reviewers have mentioned BBQ, and an outdoor sign, advertised this as well. Somehow, my husband and I both missed this -- probably because it wasn't lunch time for us yet! They don't allow you to pay at the pump - you have to actually first go inside, get authorized, then gas up. You can pay for gas here with a credit card. The convenience store portion of the operation sells a wide variety of canned goods, bottled water, soda, toiletries, and more. You can also get hot coffee and tea to go. Finally, there is a Deli counter where you can order sandwiches, burgers, breakfast foods and such. You can also pick up fishing and hunting licenses here. However, there does not appear to be a public restroom. I asked after gassing up - and the lady at the counter told there was not a public restroom.
