Small chili cheese fries, isn't even worth it.
    Chris C.

Small burgers, mediocre taste. I ordered the Pops special that comes with the chili cheese fries. Snack size chili cheese fries, wth?? I'm paying $15 for a chili cheese upgrade, why so small?? They charge $1.00 to use debit card and they even charge for ranch! Never coming here again. Tan locos

This place is a hidden gem in HP I've been coming here ever since my son was in pre-K at state street elementary school we used to come with the moms to eat after dropping the kids off at school, than hope street elementary opened in 2005 and my son got switched and this place is right across it I used to always come eat breakfast here and we would come to buy burgers when we craved burgers our favorite was the bacon avocado burger, breakfast here is deliciously amazing my go to is always the polish sausage breakfast and always ask for my ranchero eggs the best ranchero sauce, customer service is excellent same people running the place for years they have seen the community grow up and change, but they stay the same, I came here today and I went back in time the food is still amazing great flavor as I remember. Thank you for your great service.

    BACON CHEESEBURGER! (My way.. Plain)

Very local spot to me and I also remember coming here when I was in high school but forgot how they taste. So now that I moved in closer I decided to get a flashback since I forgot how they taste and figured they were like any other burger place. This day I went hungry.. very hungry! So I decided to try the Bacon Cheeseburger Combo... WOW!!.. This burger was really cheesy, juicy and very tasting especially the way I get it.. its always dry since I get bacon, cheese, meat and bun (just picture that.. really dry huh?.. looks plain like a kids burger). So this whole time I thought it would taste like your typical Tam's, Tom's, Douglas or any of those burger spots where the menu looks the same but just a different name. Since I also seen BREAKFAST ALL DAY.. was quite rare especially for a burger joint like one of these. So I decide to give it a shot as well on a different time of day. Ordered myself a Bacon Breakfast Burrito by phone so it would be ready by the time I walked there, sure enough it was there waiting to be eaten by me! The burrito was good but not as good as my #1 breakfast burrito spot. It was pretty huge and weigh like an infant. Now I don't know if $6 for a breakfast burrito is alot! Till this day I'm still wondering if that's too pricey! =/

    Prices are sky high.

$11.00 for a small chili cheese fries and med drink. I know it's inflation but dang really. No wonder they don't have prices on their menu I was so surprised but I was hungry. Never again.

I remember when Pop's first opened. I was in elementary school in the late 80's early 90's. It stands out well on State Street in a small plaza that also has a small market, laundromat, Bionicos and Zumba classes. Parking can be limited. They have an extensive menu that goes beyond most places. I always worry about places like that because I feel the quality can be jeopardized with such a large menu. I've had their burgers which for the most part are good. Nothing special or bad about them. My most frequently ordered item is their Breakfast Burrito (Served all day). I order mine with bacon, sausage and avocado (egg and hash brown included). It's pretty big. I believe it could have used more meat and less egg/hashbrown. It was still good and very filling. I'm not much of a penny pincher but I have to admit I was a little taken back by their price. My total was $16.21 for a breakfast burrito, regular fries and Orange juice. It's a good thing I liked the food and them having a friendly staff; otherwise my rating would have been much lower. Overall it's a nice local spot in Huntington Park.

This spot hits the spot all the time. Reminds me of the burger spot I grew up going to. They are quick and good burgers.

Meat, cheese, whatever....no, this pambazo is something special. Each one is handcrafted to order and you can tell that each of the ingredients is super fresh. And, since this is LA, there are plenty of tasty vegetarian options....bonus, they're delicious and very Insta-worthy. I started off with their roasted Japanese sweet potato fries with the subtle curry flavor, aioli and yogurt-mint dipping sauces, and those nice crispy edges. I split Silvertongue's Chicken and the Doofwarrior with my fiancee. The fact that they had the tender, flavorful chicken and rich, complex tikka masala flavor downnnn (Silvertongue) and that dreamy roasted pork belly (Doofwarrior) has me convinced that these guys can do no wrong. The pambazos are HUGE and filled with layer after layer of tender meat and veggies. Each bite is a perfect mix of texture (crisp, chewy bun and shredded cabbage crunch), herbs, spices, and acidity. The Scrooloose taco was awesome too....tortillas made in-house from a food truck?! You can tell that these guys put care and effort into preparing the meats because it doesn't taste or look like it's made in a food truck. So good! And if the flavor-forward food isn't enough for you, they have about a dozen hot sauces that they make themselves! Since I am a bit of wimp, I did not try all of them but the blueberry habanero was my fave out of the ones I had. They don't post up at a permanent location so do yourself a favor and check out their location on IG or Twitter....it's totally worth it.

Since I frequently attended, worked, or volunteered at the myriad of year-around events throughout Southern California, I had never seen this food truck before and was drawn to the scrumptious-looking eats that were leaving the meal mobile. I saw and smelled enough to perk my interest, so would my hunger be satiated by their grub!?: QUICK BIO "The talented crew running the Me So Hungry truck specializes in delicious gourmet burgers and sliders that should satisfy the cravings of any street food aficionado. After crafting an impressive career cooking in the kitchens of McCormick and Schmicks and The Four Seasons, Chef Cory Ewing has created a mobile menu that puts a classy twist on classic fare, without overpowering the flavors with too many ingredients. And...one of the best things about Me So Hungry? Burger fans of Los Angeles can enjoy all this quality cuisine at a quite reasonable price." PURCHASE Monster Burger ($13): Angus beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and Asian BBQ sauce between a lightly toasted bun, mine certainly wasn't as well-made and aesthetically pleasing as its picture. Thankfully, the jumbo juicy patty, messy melted cheese, and sweet syrupy sauce more than made up for it! This two-hander was a monster that met its match https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gUiTa-pdUnlUnhHW_uerDA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw! SERVICE The tiny staff that consisted of one cook and one order-taker seemed to work well together as they kept the line flowing. From the time I ordered to when I received my entree was about a 10-minute wait (standard). I carted my burger away, found a spot along a nearby chain-linked fence, and ravaged it - all was good! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance) Being a food truck, they were at the beck and call wherever the event was held. The burger I had was rather simple but tantalized my tastebuds. However, the prices were above-par among the food truck scene, the menu selection was scarce (only six items in this case), while the service was fine.
