On our way to Crater Lake my rear bearing went out on the freeway in Medford, OR. I gave them a call and had the Bronco towed in. They were very busy on Monday, but said they would do what they could that evening. They even took the time to give my young son a ride about the parking lot in their miniature Bronco and a tour of their business. They gave us a ride back to the motel. The next morning they called and said it was fixed, came and picked me up. Not only had the rear axle been fixed but they also went over the Bronco and noted a few minor problems. I was shocked at the incredibly low price for the repair. I also noticed that I had a shiny new lug nut that I had been running without for a while due to a stripped stud that they had replaced and did not even mention. Tom's accommodated me in a way no other company ever has. I bought headers and they were delivered as promised. I installed the passenger side and drove for a couple of days before installing the driver's side. I removed the rusty driver's side headers that had been beaten on one side to get them fitted. I realized I needed to do the same with my new headers. Though I nearly flattened one pipe, the driver's side wouldn't fit. After further inspection, the passenger side was touching the side of the floor pan so fit wasn't right there either. I called Lonnie at Tom's. Lonnie and I texted pictures back and forth trying to find a solution. Once realizing they wouldn't work, he told me to return for store credit. I couldn't have been more impressed. I have rebuilt my 1969 Ford Bronco with every part I needed from Toms Bronco Parts. I had one of their employes help me by climbing under the dash and check a wire connection and location for my brake warning. He was in Oregon and I was in California both of us under the dash of 69 broncos. This is the third Bronco we've done and I can't say enough about Toms parts and service. When they say their parts are the best fitting and overall construction they are not kidding. I've called the tech dept several times with questions on adapter kits relating to the new Five speed installs and each time they were dead on with guidance. I was told the part was new and when I received it, it was used and severely pitted with rust and painted over. There was also grease and dirt still on it. Not worth the cost. This is the second time I have received a part that I deem not worth selling from Tom's Bronco. Not worth returning it because of the cost of shipping and the penalty to restock.
