We booked Pizzazz to repaint two bedrooms, and paint a new bedroom and bathroom. We had some unique paint designs (wide stripes & split wall colors) which they handled perfectly. They filled and repair all nail holes perfectly, and even used a "dustless" sander to ensure no mess. Communication was very clear, and responsive. Certapro came and painted almost our entire house and they did an OK job with that. The 2 stars is…read morebecause they overpromised and underdelivered on the full extent of the job and there was a lot of general sloppiness. This is bound to be a long-ish review, so if you just want to know about their painting, know that it does look good, but there were some drips and there was a HUGE splatter on our uninstalled vanity. There was a pile of trashbags left in my driveway when the crew left and I am still finding paint spots on our new floors that I need to scrub up. Tom did send his crew back out to fix the drips when he heard we were dissatisfied, so that is a little silver lining. The remainder of my review is the reason I am leaving 2 stars instead of 3. As Tom walked through our house, my wife explained to him that we were going to need new baseboards in our bathrooms because our new vanities were not the same style as our old ones. Tom said that his team could do that for us. We went with CertaPro over a much cheaper option because of this. We bought the materials and equipment only to be told by the team that they could not do the job. We notified Tom and he said he knew a guy who could do it. We thanked him and moved on. Two weeks later, Tom notifies us that our payment is due. We tell him the baseboards still need to be done and ask if he has talked to his guy yet. He told us that our payment is not related to the baseboard job. We would have to pay this person separately. So the reason we chose CertaPro was a promise Tom made that he could not deliver on. It really makes those paint spots in the floor more annoying to clean up knowing that we were fooled by his dishonest sales tactics. Also.. if you want your doors painted on both sides, make sure you explicitly say that. We had our upstairs completely painted except for half the doors because somehow the hallway half (hallway was painted also) wasn't included in the estimate. I wish I had the same experience as some of these other reviewers. Give them a try if you want, just be careful of what Tom says vs what Tom writes down. EDIT: We spoke with Tom via text and he does seem genuinely sorry about the experience we had. Maybe his dishonesty was unintentional, but it doesn't change that it was still dishonest and was the deciding factor in our family spending much more money than we needed to. He also sent out a painter to take care of the door situation.
