If bad vibes were a management style, Nate would be Employee of the Month. Came to watch the game, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. Instead we got a live demonstration of how someone can be both a manager and completely allergic to managing. Nate approached our table like we had just personally asked him to work a double. Every question we asked was met with the same expression people make when their phone battery hits 1%. Asked if the TV could be switched to the game. Nate stared at the remote like it was a cursed artifact he legally wasn't allowed to touch. At one point he said, "I'll handle it." This was a bold claim considering he immediately disappeared and we never saw him again. I assume he's still somewhere in the building not handling it. Honestly, it was kind of fascinating to watch. Most managers run the place. Nate seems more like a guy who wandered in, got handed a manager title, and has been confused ever since. At first glance, this place is lit. Once the food comes, the vibe changes. The calamari is nauseating and the wings and chicken tenders are mediocre. The portion sizes are also unpredictable. A friend and I recently ordered the chicken tender platter and my order came with two fewer tenders and roughly half the fries as my friend's plate. The reason the issues described above are so troubling is that these menu items are standard fare at any sports themed restaurant. For example, chicken tenders are not an artisanal dish. 2.13.26 hadn't been here before, was going for a party on a friday night fron 7-9. The place is Huge inside. Tons of a TVs. I can see how this would be agame watch heaven. It was incredibly empty when we got there (?!) Our party was in a side back room, also plenty of tables and space. Our server Lexani was awesome, friendly and great with drink and food orders. (This was a pay your own night among the group.) On her recommendation, I tried the prime rib sandwich and tater tots. It was good. Not phenomenal, but good. It came with horseradish sauce and au jus both on the side, which was great. It was a decent size, too. I guess I don't understand the bad reviews... this is our second time eating at a Tom's Watch Bar ( this Indy location and also in Denver). We love everything about it! They have any sporting event you could want ( we are watching NCAA lacrosse), upbeat vibey music in the background ( not too loud so you can still chat ), very prompt service and the food is significantly better than most sports bars would offer! The place was more and more packed throughout the night, but the staff were really impressive with their ability to serve everyone. We sat in the back room and though we ordered at the bar, we still had our food brought to us. We got jerk wings, cheese curds, and fried pickles. None were too greasy and were good perfectly. Despite literally half the restaurant being empty, it took until 1:30pm for anyone to even come ask us about drinks. By then we were very much ready to order. We each got a burger and fries. Easy orders. Our food didn't arrive until 2pm! And it wasn't even right. My burger said it came with lettuce, onion, and tomato. The tomato was missing. It was also plated dry, but there were no condiments on the table. My son had ordered regular fries, but had received loaded fries. They conceded that we ordered regular and took it off the bill, so that could have been ok. But the loaded fries were cold and congealed. Our drinks were never refilled either--just a water and diet soda. Nothing fancy. Again, the place was half empty. This wasn't a rush. A bunch of us are in town for a conference and were here on Sunday and Monday afternoon. The place is awesome. Great place to watch games with TV's outside and inside. I'm gonna have to say that the tater tots stole the show. We went in during the World Series game to watch the game. It was pretty crowded, but the bar is really big. There are TVs on every single side of every wall. There's plenty of room at the bar And plenty of tables. There's also a section in the back but I've never been to it. Service was really nice. There is a parking garage right next to the bar. We were there for a couple of hours and it was $20 to park. I think if you're there up to an hour it's $10. Make sure you keep the ticket in your car. Otherwise you may have to pay $60 lol. The chicken tenders were delicious. I feel like you get your bang for your buck-the tenders are big and you get 5-6. The tater tots though...absolutely fire They were crispy, fresh, and soft on the inside. It's my favorite thing to get. I will probably only eat tater tots from now on and I don't even eat tater tots if that helps. The TV wall when you walk in is immediately transfixing. The first thing you notice when you walk in is that there are screens everywhere! Every seat is a good one when you're going to watch your favorite team play. The food was absolutely delicious and there is such a wide variety of dishes to try. The nachos are my favorite so far. The staff were so attentive, without being overbearing. I am pregnant so I tried a few of their mocktails and my favorite was the watermelon one! The ambience is a sports bar. There is no decor on the walls - all TVs. They also pre program their TVs so you can go online and check out which games will be playing! Parking is typical downtown parking - you more than likely won't be able to find a spot right in front but circle around a few times and you may find some street parking.
