I came for the drinks! $5 All Day drink menu is what got us in the door. Didn't know it was a sports bar/gambling type thing but it was a good time. The bartender was great! I ordered the Amaretto Punch and it was very flavorful! Had a sip of the White Gummy Bear, also really good, and Superman, (wasn't my favorite). It wasn't busy but we also walked in an hour before closing time. The few that were in there were a vibe. A lot of laughs were had. Tiffaney (the bartender) said to come back on game days for a different crowd but we had fun as is. Definitely would go back for the ambiance and to try the food. This is an off track betting facility that offers sports betting on horse racing and other sporting events. They have many machines to place bets yourself, and you can also place a bet with a teller. They also have a bar and restaurant to order food. We had chicken wings and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. They both tasted good. One suggestion would be to give small plates to those ordering appetizers. read more

This is a Sportsbook run by Caesars in downtown Indianapolis. They have a good bar selection with reasonable prices. Unfortunately many sketchy people stay outside and ask for money, sometimes rather aggressively. I've also seen drug use in the alley right next to Winners Circle. It's unfortunate because this used to be a great place to grab a late lunch and watch a ball game. I honestly don't feel safe walking down the sidewalk by this business. read more

This place is a different type of place. It is part restaurant, part bar, part gambling joint. With it being a gambling joint it is 21 and up. We just went there for the restaurant part because most of the other places were packed because of the teachers protest that day. It was not very busy in there. At least for food. They have typical pub food, burgers, fries, tacos.... The food was "OK", my food was cool by the time it got to me, but it did take a while for us to get our food. This was my first time here, after passing it many times. I was so unimpressed. The bar or gambling part may be better, but I was not able to experience those, so my review is only for the food. They have a secret squirrel VIP room to the left behind some glass doors when you enter. Not sure of the requirements to get in, just know that I did not meet them, whatever they were. If you don't mind eating your food while having a parade of characters passing you to get in line and place their bet then this place is for you. read more

From Pittsburgh, PA, where the kind of betting that happens here isn't legal. I walked in not knowing what to expect, and was met with enthusiasm and kindness by the staff. Winners Circle isnt exactly somewhere you'd go for date night. As the other reviews say, their beer is one of the cheapest downtown, but NOT anymore!!They raised the prices! Tall domestics used to be $3 and now they're $5. Totally understand raising them with COVID and losing business, but personally I only went here for the cheap beer, like a lot of other people. I don't think this place is very clean (smells like smoke too), and usually I get harassed by other older men in here (most of their clientele). Absolutely love the bartenders and servers here, theyre always great. The food is good if you want something greasy. Unfortunately probably won't be visiting much anymore. This place is pretty much what I expected. Walk in, there's a bar 20 feet from the door. TV screens everywhere with betting machines lining the walls with races from all around on the screens. Put your money in a machine, pick a race and a bet type and your favorite horse. After you've placed your bet, grab a seat with the other people spending their pay checks hoping to leave with a few more pennies than when they arrived. This place is a winner!!! I am so glad that I randomly dropped into this place. First, Matthew and Kaylee(sp?) are great bartenders. This place is kind of like a mix between a bar, casino, and OTB. The clientele was pretty friendly and inviting because I managed to talk to quite a few people. One of the bar patrons let me go with her to the members only section of the barsino (bar + casino, I just made that up), which allows indoor SMOKING!!!! From my understanding, the members only section has some advantages like different food options and .... well I have forgotten the rest of the advantages. The drinks are pretty reasonable priced, and bartenders really take care of you. Here, you will see a wide spectrum of folks from Indianapolis. First time here, y'all. Usually this is the place our boys group goes to pregame before the night *really* gets started, but I gotta say, I was big fan. The drink selection was one to read over, and the staff is super kind. They have some tasty cocktails, and some delicious bar food. On the other side of the dining area, you can find some wild ones betting on horse races. I'm not that lucky or that ballsy, so I stayed on the foodie side of the establishment. Real quicklike: Maybe my three stars is based on the silly fact that I walked into a horse racing venue expecting casino slots - this is t-totally my fault. The food was mediocre - I tried the beef/veggie kabobs and chicken "tenders" - the skewers were very good. I appreciated that they used bok choy - never would have thought to add this in. Well...We saw the sign for $3.00 drafts so we headed in not knowing what to expect. FYI - OTB means off track betting.... It was a little strange of an atmosphere, mix of sports bar and sad casino. The front bar area as you walk in is wall to wall TV with a mix of sports and horse racing. The back room is strictly betting and you walk thru it to get to the restrooms. The vibe in there is a quiet and strange feeling that someone is loosing all they have. If you are sitting out on the patio on a nice day it is a great spot for a few beers before headed to somewhere else, but I wouldn't say it is a hot spot down town. Like other reviewers have mentioned, they have the cheapest pints in downtown Indy. They're actually bigger than that, 20 oz. The place is also a hotspot for horse race betting, and has several private rooms as well as a smoking lounge. What most people don't realize is that the food is actually really good, since everyone just comes here to drink or bet. There are a lot of regulars who are here almost every day, and its kind of depressing to see them gamble their lives away on horse racing. Despite that, the place maintains an upbeat vibe thanks to their awesome bartenders, suck as Zeke, who is the freaking man. I do not know what is going on lately as I am 90% sure my standards have not increased drastically.... Anyway, I went here with two ladies from work during our 75 minute lunch. We didn't realize it was a gambling establishment. Not a big deal at all though. We sat down. Waitress immediately took our order. She left and we noticed a strong smoke smell. We saw what we thought was someone smoking a vapor walk by us. We debated if it was vapor or cigarette. We settled on vapor because we thought she'd be told to put it out otherwise... But we were wrong. We smelled it again later. Thought nothing of it (while I don't smoke, both of my work friends hat were with me do) until we noticed this same elderly lady in front of the no smoking sign with a lit cigarette in her hand. To the left of her (our right staring at her), was a room with doors. Out of that door came two men who were disheveled, possibly homeless (this restaurant is right by an alleyway that a lot of homeless people have turned into housing...), and smelling awful. One of them comes up next to me where I was sitting, gets maybe two to three inches away from my face and proceeds to ask me if I work at a Faberge egg making place. I politely tell him no, but he doesn't leave. He continues to ask me questions about this place (and some inappropriateness) until I look at one of my coworkers, who shoots him a look, and he finally leaves - mid sentence. The food took about 50 minutes to come out, but our waitress forgot to bring us to go boxes and we didn't think we'd see her again to ask... As we only saw her to take our order upon entry and to give us our checks. So we had to scarf our food down to get back to work. I got the pulled pork nachos - the chips and cheese they used made them almost inedible. There was also a remarkable quantity of these nachos. Like ridiculously large amount. So I truly wish they had tasted better. Luckily I was hungry and there was sour cream to help mask some of the taste... One coworker got the burger - which she said was phenomenal. The fries were meh she said, so she didn't mind not being able to eat them due to time constraints. The other coworker got the fried chicken salad which she pretty much only got to eat the chicken parts out of. Slow service, mediocre to good food, smoking violations (because while these friends had no issues, I am sure lots of people would), and general creepiness bring me to 2 (maybe 2.5) stars. read more

Let me start by saying, this is OTB, not the Chez Jene. As far as a bar / restaurant goes, this place is nice, and a major upgrade to the old location in Claypool Courts. The bar / restaurant area was modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable, considering the part of downtown, and that you are at an off track betting facility. Now for the OTB part, this was a separate area from the bar, separated by two large frosted glass doors. The betting areas are all non smoking, which is great. No one wants to breath the crap that blew out of lungs of one of these peeps. There is a smoking area for the people who want to step out for a smoke. Excellent selection of local craft beers, a major upgrade from the last OTB location. I will return to lose more money in the future. This is a nice place for OTB! read more

We decided to try this spot out and was certainly not disappointed. They had so many different drinks to choose from. The food was amazing!! Everything was delicious and they gave us pretty big portions. This is also a place where you can place bets on horses. Pretty cool but didn't try it out since I know absolutely nothing about horse racing. We went around 530 on a Tuesday and there wasn't a lot of people but they did get pretty busy later on in the night. I would definitely go back.. amazing food and even great service!! read more

My boyfriend and I went for a nice dinner. We had the jerk chicken skewers to start off with on a bed of sweet potato chips with the red curry mayo (since they ran out of the raspberry dip that was supposed to go with the chicken). The chicken was well seasoned and the chips were awesomely crispy. They did get oilier the farther down in the bowl you went though but man, the star of the dish was the red curry mayo. I could have had that slathered on bread...oh wait, I did that with the complementary bread at the table. Yum. For an entree I had the shrimp and grits. The whole dish was completely mediocre. The shrimp was completely unseasoned and bland. The greens had some limp pieces of bacon in them and were so watery they basically drown the entire plate. The grits were a bit hard and needed some major salt and pepper work. My boyfriend had the filet mignon which was better than my dish though by no means anything special. The herbed mashed potatoes that came with it were alright, though again needed salt. For dessert we had the chocolate peanut butter lava cake (which came with ice cream on a dish so hot that I burned myself) and it was a letdown. It was messy and ill-presented. It was an overcooked mash of chocolate cake in a boat dish with a glob of peanut butter on top. The best part was the ice cream and that's saying something because it was just straight up vanilla bean. Anyways, go for the sweet potato chips with red curry mayo. That and maybe a drink. I had the angel martini made with vanilla vodka, amaretto, and whipped cream and it wasn't too shabby. Only $7 too so not overly pricey. Nice selection of $4 beers too. read more

Great place to watch sports, and have the option to ha e a drink, place a bet, and win MONEY

My first experience here was on the day of the Derby and so my review may not be helpful for others in the future. My experience was truly delightful but, as it was in the midst of the carnival-like festivities of gamblers excited about the Derby, it will likely not be reincarnated for a regular betting day here. There was a $20.00 entry but, with the entry, I received a cool glass, a betting guidebook, and credits to use towards some bets. As we were going to be there for some time, I didn't really explore the potential quality of the food options and ordered the cheapest thing on the menu. Partially thanks to a whiskey representative who was letting those around him, including me, enjoy the flavors of his company's fine spirits, I made many friends that day. As I only bet minimum bets and try to actually investigate my bets in advance, I won back a decent portion of my money and so the night ended up being very affordable fun considering the free drinks. I will have to learn what this place is like on a normal day. I look forward to it! read more

Save your money and bet on Draft Kings. Management was rude. Couldn't be bothered to change the tv from a bowling tournament to an NBA game. Didn't give a shit that my food came out cold. The cheese on my nachos looked like the tortilla chip had grown mold sitting under a "heat" lamp for an hour. I think they water down the liquor bottles cause I drank enough vodka sodas to put a rhino on its ass and yet somehow I went home and read Art of War from start to finish (shout out my man Tzu). Horses and great beer! The food is pretty good too. There are several different venues. Sports bar, dining, sports bet, private and VIP. I really like the bar during ball games. You can watch several games at once and keep up with the horse races too! Of course, my skills are WPS and yet I still always have fun with those ponies.
