We had already been here for dinner earlier in our trip and had the **prime rib sandwich**, which was absolutely AMAZING. So, of course, we had to come back for breakfast before heading home! This morning, we ordered the **BLT with cheesy hash browns**, and everything was delicious. We also had a **spicy Bloody Mary and an enchilada**, and let me just say--Vegas did not disappoint! But what really made our morning was the service. **Ivan was AMAZING!** He was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. We stopped at Tom's Watch Bar at New York-New York for lunch and unfortunately left pretty underwhelmed. We ordered the Prime Rib Dip, Baja Tacos, and Spinach & Artichoke Dip. The food was fine for a casual lunch, but nothing really stood out. Overall, everything could have used more flavor, and there wasn't a dish we found particularly memorable or would come back specifically to order again. The biggest disappointment was the service. It was mediocre throughout our meal, and we actually had to get up multiple times to find someone when we needed assistance. For a restaurant in such a busy location on the Strip, we expected the service to be much more attentive. The restaurant does have a fun, casual sports-bar atmosphere with tons of TVs, so I can see the appeal if you're looking for a convenient place to grab a drink and watch a game while you're at New York-New York. However, if your priority is the food or a memorable Vegas dining experience, there are much better options nearby. We came here to watch the Spain and France game. We did speak to someone the day prior asking if the game would be showing which it was. And she recommended that we get the there early as it'll get busy. Which she was right the day of. Check in was easy which they asked if we wanted a table or bar seating. Pretty much everywhere in there has televisions view so it was good. We went with the table and the television wall was perfect. Orriana was our waitress and she was amazing. Sweet, friendly and constantly checking in with us to make sure that everything was good and if we needed anything. The place was busy so loads of things going on with the game showing. They had a promotion going on if you download an app, you get a free appetizer if you spend 25.00 per person. Simple enough. But there were exceptions, none of the ahi starters and nachos. At first we thought that it was just if you downloaded the app for the free starters but figured it out that you would need to spend 25.00 per person. With the starters we did get a little fulled but stilled needed to spend 75.00 as there was three of us. A couple of drinks and a burger did the trick. Food wise, the calamari in my opinion was not good. Could have stayed in the fryer longer as it wasn't crunchy and soggy. The trio dip, guacamole, cheese and salsa with chips. That could have been a miss. Nothing major to rave about. It wasn't good. The only good thing that was had was the spinach dip. That was quite tasty and very cheesy and hot. Even the avocado bacon cheeseburger was ok. Decent size all stack together which was pretty big and comes with tater tots. Tots were a bit crunchy as if they've been overcooked. Meat was juicy but the spinach dip took the prize. Overall, food I would probably give a miss next time. The place is lively and pretty big. Restroom is outside in the casino area. There was two section which I noticed when walking to the restroom. They also have patio seating but it was quite hot and not utilized. They did get us with the downloading the app for the free appetizers but 25.00 dollar is needed to be spent. Easy enough once everything was done. Service was great with Orianna. Our last night at New York New York and we wanted something causal to eat. Tom's is a sports bar with a lot of televisions showing various sports programs. Service was good. Nothing special but standard service. I had been craving wings so I ordered the wings. I was glad they allowed me to get two flavors and I went with mango habanero and lemon pepper. The wings were basic to me. They tasted ok but wasn't anything to write home about. They didn't scratch my itch for wings. Time for an update. We had drinks and food at the bar since the other tables didn't have servers available to service them. Keith was our bartender and was amazing. We had the All American burger and the Truffle Mushroom and Swiss burger. They are delicious, but the cocktails were the star of the show. I had the Lavender Lemon Drop (my sister's suggestion) and TWO Peach Cosmos. They are STRONG and worth every penny. There were not really any sports on while we were there, but it would've been the perfect spot to see your favorite team! NYNY is already my favorite casino so I was glad to have lunch there. We got the chicken sandwich and it was excellent. It had avocado on it that pulled the entire flavor together perfectly. This was my first time at Tom's Watch Bar, and unfortunately it was a letdown from the moment I arrived. I got there at 11:00am to wait for my friends and immediately asked if I could substitute an Impossible patty for any of the burgers. The waiter said yes, so I settled in. My friends arrived around 11:13am and we placed our food order by 11:20am. That's when things started going downhill. One friend ordered a chicken sandwich, only to be told they didn't have chicken because the truck hadn't arrived. They offered to make it with chicken tenders instead. She agreed because there was nothing else she wanted. My other friend ordered the poke bowl, but the waiter warned her that several guests had been returning it due to the rice consistency. She switched to the bacon avocado burger. Since I'm not eating meat right now, I ordered the All‑American burger with the Impossible patty. At 11:52am, over 30 minutes after ordering, the waiter came back to tell me they were actually out of Impossible patties. At that point, I hadn't eaten anything all morning, and I was irritated because if I had known this from the beginning, we would have chosen a different restaurant. Between the missing chicken, the questionable poke bowl, and now no Impossible patties, it felt like the only menu items we wanted were unavailable. We asked to speak with a manager for clarity. I wish I had gotten her name because her attitude was shockingly unprofessional. She acted annoyed that we even asked, and her response was essentially, "Well, the truck didn't come in. I didn't work yesterday, so I don't know what to tell you." Her body language and tone were dismissive and discourteous, definitely not what you expect from a restaurant on the Strip. At that point, we asked for my friends' food to be packed to go so I could find somewhere else to eat, now over an hour since I first arrived, having only had water. We also had to ask for the food to be comped due to the poor experience. The manager never returned, but our waiter kindly let us know we were "good to go." My friends said their food was mediocre at best. Overall, this was not the experience we expected, and I can't recommend this location. I'm unsure if I would ever try it again after this. read more

Definitely time for a review update because Tom's Watch is not only worth it but also holds a special place in our hearts. This was our first visit during breakfast hours and we were very pleased (as the usje) with the food and drinks. The staff were busy during our visit, so it took a bit of time to get our orders in and delivered (even with sitting at the bar) so thankfully we were not in a rush. We were treated to watching the Olympics on the telly (no closed captioning) and nice conversation with fellow patrons. Breakfast was pretty fab. I enjoyed (and fully recommend) the Breakfast BLT and my son was surprised at the fact he liked the hash browns (served cheesy!). Prices here are the usje...Vegas Strip Pricing. The food was good, the service was good, but even though they put the sound on for the game I could not hear it very well at the bar. Granted it WAS Packed! Definitely gone downhill. This was my first time back since it changed over to Watch Bar. I was actually at both the Yelp Elite opening of the original Tom's concept at this Vegas location and also the Watch location in DC. So after experiencing the Watch in DC, I was hoping this would be a good spot for some food and game watching. Our server was very friendly and nice. She was excellent. The overall vibe of the place isn't really my style, but it's definitely a sports haven. Tons of games on, lots of folks sporting their team colors, lots of cheering, etc. So if you're an avid sports fan, the ambiance here is def what you're searching for. The queso was still very yum. And they always give you plenty of chips, which is nice. And the chips have a perfect amount of salt that is so complimentary to the queso. I also ordered the wings and was hugely let down. The wings were always one of my go-to items at this location. It's nice how large they are. But they were significantly undercooked. They just weren't enjoyable to eat. I also tried out the Nashville hot flavor and wasn't much a fan. Needed to be spicier and have more...flavor. So meh. I should've just had two orders of queso and called it day. read more

We were quickly seated and our hostess stopped in to greet us. The restaurant has many screens so one can catch all of their favorite games while enjoying delicious food. The customer service was very good as our waiter was very friendly and helpful. They offered udeas on what to eat and didn't seem to rush us. Unfortunately, the food I had (The Poke Bowl) was abysmally prepared. The rice seemed to have been cooked several times past when it was ready as it had turned into a rice jelly. I asked for no onions and stated that I'm allergic. The food was generously garnished with green onions. On top of the poor food quality I feel as though even knowing that EVERYTHING on the Las Vegas strip is expensive. The waitress arrived and took drink orders. Their margaritas are nice and strong. We started with the Carne Asada Deep Dish Nachos. They were a total miss. It was dry chips with about 2 tablespoons of cheese sauce, a teaspoon of guac, and some crumbled meat. I do not recommend for $25. Then we had the Prime Rib sandwich, it saved the day. We were drawn to eat at Tom's because of the outdoor patio on the strip, but the food and drinks were just as amazing as the view! The watermelon margaritas were so good that we had multiple rounds! I'm out here for a work trip, and saw this spot while walking the Las Vegas Strip. If you're looking for good comfort food, great service, and a nice view to people watch, then run (not walk) here. From the moment we came in, George, our server, came with good suggestions, patience, and a flair for great customer service. They have a nice outdoor set-up, where you can see the Las Vegas Strip, plenty of outdoor heaters to keep the area warm, despite the temperature dropping throughout the evening. Lastly, the food is really, really good! Started with some Loaded Tots (not pictured, we smashed that quickly) that were made really well. The star of the show was the Crispy Chicken and Cornbread Pancake! Goodness was this meal not only filling but extremely delicious. You can order it plain or with a little extra spice (I'm representing the great state of Tennessee, so you know I had the spice added). Washed everything down with a really well made Whiskey Sour. They aren't able to give me an estimation of how long it will be (this was a warning sign on its own). I asked how many parties are on the wait-list. I am told 19. I think to myself, it's a big place. This is likely at least half the restaurant. I want in a huge rush so I didn't mind. An hour later, I get a text message to let me know the UFC fight has ended and asked if I wanted a table still. I am disappointed that the staff failed to mention that when I asked for a table. I respond immediately yes. That is the last I ever heard from them. I guess they decided that I didn't want a table and just removed me though I responded.
