Flights was very cute and I adored the decor. I decided to come here as I waited on my friends to meet up. I did not eat here but boy oh boy they had reasonable deals on drinks and food options. Since I was waiting to eat I decided to get the screwdriver flight and it was very good!!! It was only $15 which was ridiculously cheap!! 5/5 for me. The service was great too!!! Des was so amazing. I sat at the bar and she was a sweet lady and attentive. I will come back to flights next time in Vegas to try food here. Located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, this place has a really cute ambiance--the ceiling painted with clouds and surrounding buildings make you feel like you're in another country. The service was a bit slow at first, as a few staff members walked past us before we were greeted at the bar. For drinks, we ordered the Bloody Mary flight, which was delicious and a fun way to try three different variations. As for the skillet flight, the steak was absolutely amazing and perfectly cooked, and the pulled pork was pretty good. Flights was awesome! It's located inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. We typically stop at Blondies, which is just across from Flights, but decided to switch things up this time. I'm glad we did! It wasn't crowded when we arrived, so we grabbed seats at the bar and were greeted and served right away. I can't remember either bartender's name, but they were both fantastic--friendly, attentive, and quick with everything. They also have a great selection of ice-cold beer on draft. Since we arrived mid-morning, we decided to try items from both the breakfast and lunch menus. We ordered the omelette and the club sandwich on Texas toast. Both were delicious, and the portions were huge--either dish easily could have been shared. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of TVs for watching sports, and the entire staff was welcoming. It's a 3.5. And we both felt strongly that it was. But a 4 because it's a great concept. For two people though, it's going to be too much food. I love mini food and bites and sliders. So we of course were going to get the slider flight. And my partner loves ribs so we had to get the rib flight. Both were good. It's two ribs per flavor - so it's 6 ribs total... three sliders though, so you'll have to share. Some of the ribs were better than others, but all were pretty tasty. The buffalo chicken slider is spicy and good. The burger slider is just OK and the pulled pork is not bad. We also had the salad flight - and while all were good, it was just too much food. Again, the concept is strong. And we weren't drinking on that day, but they have some really fun drink flights that I would definitely want to try if we come back. A very fun place to have lunch or dinner. And obviously, this would be a happy hour winner. Oh yeah, and there is a plane in the dining room/bar area. So there you go. This was the favorite dining experience for our gal, "Trip to the Strip." The concept is unique, and all the food was very well prepared. Anyone in your party is going to find something they will like. And the theme of aviation is an obvious winner. Our server was great. She recommended the Mac & Cheese flight, which one of my daughters was ALL over. I tried it too, and it was delicious. One of us ordered the Taco flight, and they were packed with protein! I've been dying to try this place for years!!!! I love the idea that everything comes as a flight. We got the sliders each one was 10/10. My boyfriend got the burrito and it's big! The drinks!! Omg. The old fashioned flight is not for the lightweights all three were STRONG! I got the mimosa flights and those were just as good ended up getting 2. Food is good, not spectacular but a great option. They do reservations. The variations of the flights are cool. They also give you a free Polaroid when you dine. The restaurant ambiance is nice. Fun concept, but disappointing value. We tried the skewers and ahi tuna tacos along with a wine flight and beer flight. Everything was decent, but the portions were surprisingly small and the prices felt high for what we received. Service was good and the atmosphere was cool. After having walked past on numerous trips, we decided to stop in tonight to check out Flights after a show. The menu is really cool with flights of food and drinks for small plate sharing or large entrees if you want. We decided on four flights. The mac and cheese flight was good with three styles of cheese, and the empanadas were interesting (were a little spicy if you are sensitive to that). The sliders were also good if not a little cool by the time we got to them. We also got two cheeseburger sliders and no pulled pork, so can't say how that third one was. Topped off the meal with warm churros which were really really good. Overall, the service was friendly and quick even if the food was slightly mediocre. Talking about a return visit and bringing friends in the future. If you're interested in trying many things all at once, this is your place. read more

Flights is a special place because of how far they take their aviation theme. The waitresses are "flight attendants" and everything comes in servings of three, or a flight. For first time visitors, it was a bit difficult to find inside the large mall but after calling for directions the restaurant was understanding of a two minute arrival delay for the previously booked reservation. I had both the mojitos and tacos but friends in my party tried the margaritas and skewers. While still an order of three, the skewers were still extremely tiny and not quite filling on their own. For the amount you pay for I think there could be a tad bit more in the portions but do still recommend. read more

I came back!!!!! Happy to see this restaurant was still in business as it is a fun place. No more buttons on the tables to push for service and our server was super attentive and helpful. I had the martini flight which was Appletini, Lemon Drop and Cosmo. The Cosmo is mostly cranberry juice but the other two were good. If you are going to order food, do it after you have had a chance to enjoy your drinks for a bit. We ordered sliders and tacos and they came 30 seconds after getting our drinks. The tacos were good although the tortilla was mushy and hard to pick up. The buffalo chicken slider was HOT. We ended up sharing a Mule flight and ordering the shrimp flight. I'm giving Flights 3 stars because while there are some major perks, there were a few downsides to our visit. First the good: the happy hour specials are great and run all day, which is rare for the Strip. We loved the concept of getting everything in "flights" of three-it's a fun way to try different things. The food was definitely tasty, especially the slider and mac & cheese flights, and the presentation is super cool for photos. However, it was a bit pricey for what it is. Even with the happy hour deals, the bill adds up quickly because the individual portions aren't huge, so you end up ordering several flights to actually get full. I really enjoy the flight of 3 concept for both the food & drinks. They have happy hour specials all day, every day & during certain hours they put specific flights on happy hour, 3 for $15. I arrived during margarita on the rocks flight happy hour (3-4p) & got a classic, regular margarita, prickly pear & mango jalapeño. My favorite was the mango but to tell you the truth all 3 were a bit of a struggle because they put some kind of soda(fizz) in all 3 of them. I'm used to Texas margaritas where even the hole in walls make good margaritas so soda in my margarita is a "no" for me! Otherwise, the drink flavors were fine. I hadn't eaten since breakfast so I actually felt them a little bit. Also got a salad flight: caesar, wedge, & caprese. All 3 were good. Not a filling flight but it served its 'salad' purpose. Side note: They have a cool robot that moves around the dining area and the servers load dirty dishes from the tables in its bin. It then leaves the eating area & goes in the back (I presume to the kitchen area) I think this place is worth a visit for the flight experience. read more

We had about half an hour to kill before a show, so we stopped randomly here -- we saw "airplanes and stuff" -- "Flights" get it? cute theme! -- but mainly we just stopped here because it was the most convenient place we saw. So we started with zero expectations just because "it was there" and we wanted a drink and a snack. We didn't realize until we were seated that "flights" also referred to the theme of the food and drinks, and so I got a "flight" of little daiquiris, (mango, strawberry and lime) and we got a "flight" of three types of fries and sauces (all were good but my favorite was just the plain fries with ketchup). That was a lot of fun. Not everything was a flight (my husband got a drink called a smoke show which was set on fire -- very memorable -- and he liked that), but the flights were a very fun way to try a few different things without a lot of commitment. Now in bars in general, and especially in tourists towns, I expect a fruit drink like a daiquiri to have a negligible -- perhaps undetectable -- amount of alcohol. It's disappointing but normal right? But no, these three little drinks had a nice amount of alcohol in them -- and so actually it was a good choice to split the drinks with my daughter. We enjoyed all three flavors but the lime was our favorite because it was tangier and less sweet. The fries were a generous portion and were hot and crispy. We felt for what we got, this was a very good value. Finally the service - very friendly and fast. We told the server when we sat down that we had to be out in half an hour to get to our show, and she was very accommodating. Everyone got us our stuff fast and were really nice, in spite of the fact that we were getting just a quick drink and snack and not sitting down for dinner. I appreciated that. So for something we had no expectations of, it was a delightful surprise and it's definitely a place I'd visit again when I'm in Vegas. read more

Such a cute concept restaurant and honestly very fun to mix and match. Due to being on the street it's very hard to judge it perfectly cause price was astronomical. I feel like if it was off strip, maybe a bit more worth it. The service was great, nice and prompt and I loved the different options he gave us. We ordered the following flights: 1. Frozen Margs; perfectly strong and I love the spicy, tart, and regular of the three paired. The jalepeno was definitely a favorite. 2. Sliders: I loved the chicken one the most, the burger was somewhat dried. The shredded one was okay. 3. Ceviche: this was mainly lettuce with 3 small spoonfuls of the ceviche. The shrimp was the favorite, but least worth the price. 4. Skewers: skewers were the favorite of the table. Chicken satay was a hit. First of all my party and I chose Flights because of the great reviews. I wish we could have had their experiences, but did not. The ambiance gets one star. The service was absolutely horrendous, and we will never know what the food was like because we left due to the service. When she came to us, she appeared annoyed and was very short with us. As first-time diners, we asked "what are the popular flights" and other questions about the men (due to a severe allergy), and were prepared to order any or all suggestions. Instead of helping us with the menu, the waitress told us that she would "check on something in the back". Well, she went back, kept us waiting for 20-minutes, came back out, walked past us twice and didn't acknowledge us. We gave up and left. It was like she was avoiding us and hoping we would leave, and we did. Good thing we left because we experienced excellent service at the next restaurant. Parked at the Bellagio since NV residents get 3 hours of parking for free then walked over to the Miracle Mile Shops. For food, we ordered the ceviche and sliders which were all tasty! For drinks we ordered the Daquiri flight and the Mojito flight (happy hour special). Our server was great, he was able to get us more chips for our ceviche and put in our mojito flight a little earlier to receive it by the time it was a happy hour special. Inside Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile shops area. Had the skewer flight of shrimp, chicken and steak. Steak was a little tough but overall dish was tasty. The meat skewers were presented in the base of a grilled pineapple. It was nice but they should serve it with some way to cut and enjoy the pineapple. I was pleasantly surprised that the flight concept extends not only to mixed drinks, frozen margarits, martins, and more but also to appetizers. With a rotating discount special (three flights of a drink are on special for an hour or two then it seitches) I had the martini flight which hit the spot. I followed it with the frozen margarita flight and the slider flight. The food was very good with the pulled pork being my favorite slider and the flight portions are bigger than expected. What a great place to go to for the flights! Been here twice now and the first time around we ordered the Around the World Flights and it was worth the price. It feed 5 hungry adults and 5 kids ages 5-12. It was more than enough for us and we took a few things to go since we couldn't finish it. The only downside of course is the automatic gratuity of 20% that will be added onto your bill for a big party. I forgot if it was for 5 or more or 6 or more. Yes, they do ask you before they sit you. The way the host did ask though both times was giving the "can you afford" it tone. Thankfully, the server was much better. Our server both times did deserve the 20% but we just like to have that choice. We don't tip less than 18% in a restaurant even if the service is not up to par. Hubz used to be in the restaurant industry so he knows how hard it is. So we always give grace, unless of course something's clearly just not right. Thankfully, all was good here. The 2nd time we went we didn't end up getting the Around the World flights as we had way less people. If you're going with a big group, always just get the Around the World flights. read more
