Irish nachos with shredded chicken added. The cheese sauce is yummy. Solid pub food to soak up the booze.

I'm sticking with 5 stars. The Irish nachos are still great. The beer and cheese dip appetizer with "country" breads is terrific. You could easily make a meal out of the appetizers. The NFI burger is not huge but it is still very, very good. The Kilkenny beer is also still excellent and they even make a mean Snakebite, although, oddly, it is not on the drink menu. Ask for it anyway.

Food is decent (had the appetizers). Ate at the bar and found the bar tender agreeable and on point as far as your order, so service is good. Ambiance is right up my alley with the Irish pub feel. There is live music at night but I went during the afternoon and watched sports on tv (my scene). Worth a visit if in New York New York Casino.

This pub is an absolute gem. It is lively and so fun to hang out in. It's definitely popping both times I stopped by. You can enter through the outdoor area or from inside New York New York. Most people have a beer but I opted for a cocktail to minimize the beer bloating this particular night. I tried the Orange Cosmo and it was so good. The bartender was so generous with the Jameson Orange whiskey and Cointreau! Very refreshing and buzzy, very easy to drink. This night they had a live band and a surprise tap dancer on the table! Everyone seems to be having a great time. It is a super laid back spot, I highly recommend visiting.

Stop letting your front of house be rude and blatantly ignore customers. Profiling and being rude. Ignored repeatedly by three front of house bartenders, not even a greeting or "I'll be right with you". Helping 6 people who came in after me before me. More concerned about hiding the left over liquor from a guest's flight than greeting their new guest. Just bragging about how much they made and haven't said more to me than do you know what you want. Left every dirty empty glass and plate in front of me but didn't do so for the couple next to me when they finished before me. And the food was sort of sad. One and a half boiled egg with only one having the actual curry that was in the description and the sausage rolls the sausage was scalding and the pastry was cold. First pub I ever couldn't wait to leave. And I'm half Irish third generation. Run to RiRa for better food and overall experience. They greet you before you even sit down and actually can have an interaction. If I wanted this I would have gotten to go food. Ps and the Guinness is super cold, what is that about?

Went for lunch and ended up with a mixture of lunch and brunch. Ordered the Bread Dip as an appetizer, lots of choices and plenty of cheese for three of us. Next we had regular drinks, Pepsi products, which most have down town and that's a drag but, it is what it is. I had the Baileys French toast, the misses had Shepards pie and my son had a NFI burger. All was ok, bar food but service was fast and we were checked up on regularly. It was OK to hold a conversation and some light music in the background so the ambiance was decent. Overall a place to eat in the NY NY.

Food was good and a massive plateful, service was great - waitress friendly and helpful.

Stopped in here just to have a drink!! It wasn't too busy when we went, which was nice so it was quiet. The bar tender was friendly! And he made a good Jameson ginger! Haven't tried any of the food but always love stopping by for a drink!

Service started out great and quickly went down hill. Not a large selection of gluten free options. Might be ok for just apps and beer if not a GF eater. Drinks didn't come out until after our food was delivered. Then we didn't see our server at all. We left the restaurant and left my husband behind to pay the bill. He joined us 12 minutes after we walked out, it wasn't that busy inside to warrant slow service.

We have such a great time last time we were here. We decided to try it again. Our server could not have been any better, I actually wish I remember her name because she certainly would've deserved a shout out. The food was just OK. The nachos, were not what I remember, and the macaroni and cheese was a little overcooked. He's super fun atmosphere, we will definitely be back!

Nine Fine Irishmen recently renovated their patio, and was running some specials during October so we decided to make a visit and see what it was all about. Because Yelp does not offer fractional stars, I'd give this a 3.75. First, the outdoor patio only has about 20 tables and about 15-20 seats at the bar so it's not a huge space but when the weather is nice it's not a bad place to be. Certainly better than sitting inside the smoky casino. Food was decent, we ordered off the special menu so the portions were slightly smaller than usual. The star of the items we tried was the Fish n Chips, they were quite crispy and the batter was thin enough that you actually had a decent amount of fish underneath. The beer cheese was a let-down; like a lot of cheese dips it started congealing after a few minutes. Pastrami sliders were middle of the road, nothing spectacular, but not bad. Food came out lukewarm and took longer than expected. Service was okay. The special that they were running was stated as " $7 bar bites and $5 beverages (available on the outdoor patio only)" but the waitress made a big stink about this stating that the bar bites were for the patio bar only not for tables on the patio, even after I showed her the MGM press release. She did all she could to avoid giving us the discount until we pressed more. It was never stated that we had to physically sit at the bar anywhere in the release. She kept rambling on about random people asking for discounts that she wouldn't honor, likely in hopes we would give up. It's a serviceable spot with Guinness on draft, but I'd much rather walk a little further to RiRa if I wanted a great Irish pub on the strip.

Baby Guinness shots. So darn good with the coffee liqueur.

My husband, myself and my mom went here for lunch on Valentines Day, our wedding anniversary. First time going there. We are locals, so we parked at the Sahara Hotel and Casino (free parking), went up the escalator to the monorail, bought tickets for a 2 way rail ride. $1.00 each way for locals. Got off at the MGM GRAND station and walked through the Hotel/Casino to the outside catwalk above the street (safest way to cross the street) and then walked a few steps into the Nine Fine Irishmen Restaurant. Got our name on the waitlist, hostess said about a 20 minute wait, was actually about an 8 minute wait. Plenty of seating. Great service, friendly staff, great food, clean bathrooms. Husband ordered the Shepards Pie, he loved it, along with a Guinness Stout. Mom and I ordered the Fish and Chips, 3 large pieces of fish, great fries and coleslaw came with it. We ordered the Irish deviled eggs. Sooooo delicious. Best I've ever had, even better than the traditional version of deviled eggs. 3 halves with curry, 3 halves with bacon. YUMMMM!!!!! My mom slipped the waitress a note that it was our anniversary, waitress came over and asked how everything was tasting, and then asked me if I drink alcohol. I said yes. She said ok, and offered to bring us a shot, a Baby Guinness shot. She came back with 2 shots of Baby Guinness, on the house. OMG, best shot ever!!!! 1/2 Guinness stout and 1/2 Tia Maria. What a combo. If I had been staying at a hotel next door , I would have had another shot, or 2. Don't skip trying this place, it's amazing. Everything was great. Thank you to our waitress who offered us the shots on our wedding anniversary. She made it extra special. We will be back.

Ask the Community - Nine Fine Irishmen

Are open table reservations still accepted? No availability on the resort website, but open table has some?

That's how I booked reservations there recently and they had us in the system when we arrived

Is this a good place to watch UFC PPV events?

Nine Fine Irishmen doesn't normally show all UFC PPV Events, just the MacGregor fights.

Is this a dog friendly restaurant?

The restaurant is inside New York, New York casino and the walk ways between tables are very small. I'm sure they allow service animals but I wouldn't recommend bringing pets.

Is there live music here? if so when? looking for a fun place after a chapel wedding. this came up for dueling pianos

Live music daily starting at 9:30 pm

Is the chicken pot pie back? I've been waiting for it to come back!

Will you ever be letting a guy be the step dancer?

Is there a cover charge to eat here?

    Nope.

Are there any gluten free and dairy free options?

When will the full menu return?

You know what I'm not sure it was my first Time there but I can swing by next time I go and ask

Under 21 allowed for food and music?

Is my vegas reward still a 35 dollar voucher?

    No, it's a true BOGO.

Is the live music every night? What time does it start?

Yes. RiRa plays every night except Tuesday. Starts at 9pm.

When do they start serving the dinner entrees?

    1700

Does the restaurant play UFC PPV ? If so, how much is the cover charge?

Nine Fine Irishman does have UFC PPV, but only the more popular ones. They don't have them all, it needs to be a big Main Event. Usually it is first come first serve with a 40.00 cover charge, normal pricing after that.

Is it possible to reserve a table near the stage?

Yes, however you need to call the pub directly to make reservations, Open Table Reservations does not give you a table location option.

They sat us in a separate dining area which was great for us (because of the kids).. but probably better for the other diners. Our server was so nice and patient. Kid's menus had a variety of options and came with drinks in little plastic cups. Portions were HUGE for kids. They enjoyed their meals. Adult beverages were great. I had the double copper; no complaints there. The guys each had an old fashioned and I was told they were very good. The only drink complaints at the table were for the key lime martinis. The girls were not expecting them to be milky. Food was great. The deviled scotch eggs were bomb. I definitely recommend those. Sausage roll bites were good; but for the price, I probably wouldn't order them again. For main, I had the beef stew. It was good. Beef was tender and stew was flavorful. I also ordered a side of tots and the Brussels Sprouts. Tots were good. Sprouts tasted burnt and not in a good way. I was a little disappointed in those. I also tried a bite of my friend's Irish chicken curry (did not know this was a thing).. and it was SO good. I wish i would've ordered that instead. Shepherd's pie was also tasty. Another friend ordered the salmon and it looked really good but I didn't try any of it. She said it was tasty and light. She finished the whole thing. Overall, service was great. Drinks were good. I've never been to a bar in Ireland before, but the interior made me feel like I was no longer in Vegas; it felt like I had stepped right into a bar in Ireland. We started with the deviled Scotch egg. The outer layer of the egg was thin and crispy, and the filling was oh-so-creamy. It was delightful and a must-order. We ordered the Irish chicken curry with half-fries and half-rice. The chicken itself was a bit bland, but the curry sauce was tasty. It was mild and not spicy. We also ordered the Irish breakfast with a side of Batchelors beans. It included two eggs, Irish bangers and rashers, black and white pudding, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and toast. I had to look up what rashers are--they are basically bacon, but a lot leaner than what you'd expect with American bacon. It was a bit too lean for my taste, but overall, everything was pretty good, especially the black and white pudding, which was basically a big slice of sausage. The black pudding is black because of the pork blood. I also want to say the service here was amazing, and the servers were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back to this establishment. FYI, since this is part of MGM, you can use resort credits and charge it to your room here.

I ordered the chicken fried steak which came with mashed potatoes and greens. My husband ordered the catfish dinner which came with hush puppies, grits and greens. The food arrived pretty quick and was hot. My chicken fried steak was just ok. The mashed potatoes were good and the greens were the worst I've had. It was like a pound of sugar in them. Caught me off guard. It was so sweet that it was inedible. My husband's fried catfish was prepared perfectly! (We asked for it to be fried hard) It was hot, fresh and well seasoned! The hush puppies were a bit dry and taste like they roll it in the same fish fry as the catfish as it had a slight fishy taste but the grits were amazing! It had a white gravy/sauce on top of it and it was just soo good! I had wished I ordered his plate even tho we swapped a few forkfuls. One thing I noticed was the menu had changed. My husband and I went in and we were immediately seated. There is a huge bar downstairs that is surrounded by high tops and lots of TVs. There is also a very large area upstairs. It was fairly empty on a Tuesday night. The menu has all of the usual pub food fare. I was in the mood for a salad and I decided on the Bleu Cheese Steak Salad. It was a nice portion with a big helping of steak that was cooked to perfection. I was going to ask our server, Lydia for a steak knife, but I did not really need one because steak cut easily. It was delicious! My husband ordered the buffalo chicken salad. That portion was huge as well and he also said it was really good.. They have a full liquor bar with just about anything you could ask for and a really long beer list including some local Vegas brews. We were able to enjoy some nice cold beers and watch some of the college bowl games that were on in December while we were there. Lydia was friendly and knowledgeable which made it a terrific evening. I am delighted that we found Tilted Kilt because the food and drinks were good and we had excellent service at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back the next time. I am visiting Las Vegas.

The food was fine for a casual lunch, but nothing really stood out. Overall, everything could have used more flavor, and there wasn't a dish we found particularly memorable or would come back specifically to order again. The biggest disappointment was the service. It was mediocre throughout our meal, and we actually had to get up multiple times to find someone when we needed assistance. For a restaurant in such a busy location on the Strip, we expected the service to be much more attentive. The restaurant does have a fun, casual sports-bar atmosphere with tons of TVs, so I can see the appeal if you're looking for a convenient place to grab a drink and watch a game while you're at New York-New York. However, if your priority is the food or a memorable Vegas dining experience, there are much better options nearby. Overall, it was fine for a quick lunch, but between the lackluster service and food that wasn't particularly flavorful or memorable, it's not somewhere we would choose to visit again.
