When I first started bootcamp at Tone Zone Fitness run by trainer Erika Thomas nearly 3 years ago I was overweight out of shape and constantly felt physically drained. For some time my doctor had told me that my blood pressure was high and I was a borderline diabetic and if I didn't make drastic changes I would become a full-blown diabetic. I couldn't find the will to correct these issues on my own no matter how much I tried. So in February 2013 I finally decided to make that drastic change and joined Tone Zone Fitness. Since then I have changed my eating habits, lost 45 pounds, my blood pressure is under control along with other medical factors and have plenty of new energy. I look forward to my workout everyday, 3 years ago I never thought I could do the many physical tasks they have me do. Erika has thought me how to discipline my way of thinking and in turn my body. I feel so much more physically fit and better about myself. The confidence I have acquired in my training has carried on to other aspects of my life, knowing that I can accomplish and overcome many other life's obstacles.  To refer to Erika as just a trainer, does not do, what she does, justice. She is so much more, she's a motivator, a nurse, counselor and most importantly an example. Her vision for Tone Zone and her incredible passion has inspired me, to be, a better me. I never thought that at my age I could change the bad habits that took a lifetime of doing. Its incredible the impact she has had on me, not many professions can say they impact so many aspects of one's life in such a positive and everlasting way. I would recommend this gym to anyone in the position I was in or someone who just wants to get right down to the most important thing (great motivated workouts) w/o all the unneeded frills and trills of the ordinary large gym chain. read more

I'm new to boot camp and I have nothing but great things to say! I use to go to a gym called "the 12" in Orange County that was very similar . Now that I am back in perris, I'm super happy to have found a gym with similar training style. I thought they didn't exist out here lol! For me , I enjoy working out in group settings. Bootcamp class is designed to get in and out , get your shit done , feel the burn and leave . These workouts are tough and being around other people feeling the burn is so motivating. Erika is a tough love kind of trainer which I like . It pushes you and holds you accountable . I deffinately recommend this gym to anyone who is ready and motivated to see some results. read more

I did the boot camp at tone zone and its okay. But I lost more on my own than I did there . BUT. You really get pushed. I had a problem with is honoring what they say comes in the package for first timers like -before and after picture(which didn't happen) -weigh in and measurements (which didn't happen... Or at least not on the first day which seems bogus because they sure do take your money BEFORE you step foot in the class and sign the standard waiver if there was an accident. I was told it was going to be done on the first week of boot camp Thursday and it didn't. And then you're told to come before boot camp because the lady who takes the measurements doesn't like to take the numbers when you're sweaty.) -No "I survived boot camp" shirt at the end. (Which is fine. I wouldn't want to advertise their business anyway) Again all of these I could have done myself but they said it was included. Granted its just $20 for first timers but its all about the principal. The instructor ERIKA has favorites. Especially to those who have been there more than one season. She is GREAT for pushing you but her customer service skills suck and If you're too slow with things like running she WILL leave you behind. I understand there are others in the class but she basically stays with the front runners and her favorites. The rest of the the instructors were more friendly and attentive than her especially when comes to the small things like modifications and info. You have access to the full gym all of boot camp which is great if you can't make the 8:30am class or 5:30pm. But what they're asking in gym membership fee alone... Well I might as well go to 24hr fitness. This gym is closed on Sunday. The kids area is... A kids area. Not daycare. One more thing if you're looking for a more diverse enviorment this is NOT it. Its predominately Hispanic. All in all I wouldn't go back. But if youre looking for a small tight knit workout group to get into then this is the place for you. I hope I helped. read more

Went to Tone Zone Fitness in Perris, CA today 7/31/2018 and I was told by the lady at the desk that they are Not enrolling new members at all!!! The location was hard to find, they have no sign outside in the front. When I finally found it and went inside, the place was extremely dirty and unsanitized and smells bad. It's extremely small inside and the girl at the front desk was very Rude. This place is extremely nasty! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO WORKOUT AT ALL!!!! read more

Great workouts and you will see results if you commit to this Bootcamp . Unfortunately this gym is not for me . Lack of customer service , dirty facility and the trainer Erika has no people skills . She makes no effort to reach out to new customers . She comes off very unsupportive and rude . I went to this Bootcamp for three sessions and never felt welcome . The place is also outdated for me and they have very limited times for bootcamps that will not workout with my schedules . read more

This is a great place, everyone has been super friendly but the main reason I come here are the classes. I've been to three different instructors and they are all amazing! I've done Karla and Mary's Zumba class and it's incredible. I take Miranda's body blast class and I love it! The music is great, they have great moves I love it! read more

My husband and I joined TZF going on 3 years in Feb. this is the BEST thing we ever did. Yes i won't lie it was so hard for us when we first started, but the motivation and the ability to believe in ourselves that our trainer Erika has taught us is what kept us going back. We didn't just lose weight and tone up but we change our life style. We hadn't exercised for over 15 years, but now we wake up and if not at the gym we look for some kind of exercise to do. The staff at TZF is always friendly and the facility is clean and organized. The workouts are great and always different styles of doing things. So you never get bored. I highly recommend this gym. Erika and Will are great! I decided to do the bootcamp because I was tired of jiggling around and buying bigger shirts. I lift weights but still had trouble losing fat, but bootcamp is a whole other story. I was sore in new areas I never felt before. Erika pushes you with "tough love"and is so much more than a trainer. You are there to lose fat after all not be told its ok to be unhealthy and overweight. She educated me about nutrition and motivates me to make fitness a lifestyle. You can feel their passion. I love it here! I started with the gym and the aerobics classes and worked my way up to bootcamp. I loved bootcamp even more. I definitely got the push that I needed and wanted. I love Tone Zone fitness! It has changed my life!!! I've been attending there for 3 1/2 years now. I work out 3 to 5 times a week at their Bootcamp program! Bootcamp has become part of my life! I went from being a overweight couch potato to running on hills and became strong just because of Erika's training. If you want to be babysat this is not the place to go but if you want to be pushed to your limits and see results this is the place to be! The best Bootcamp in the IE!!! Other than Bootcamp they have many fitness classes and their popular high energy Zumba to offer for anyone's level of fitness. Terrible gym!! Erika is rude and has no customer service skills. It's like a click similar to being in Junior High. Demographic is primarily hispanic. A Taylored Body in Orangecrest is so much better. More expensive but worth it. read more

I did not take any classes here I went simply for the gym in fact I went for 1 day, ONE DAY and I hated it . The fact that it is all girls is amazing but what the point of their workout equipment is out dated , broken and filthy. Dumbbells are falling apart, cable pull machine is broken and the weight number is worn off , half of the equipment is in the sun and burns when you sit down . Everything is extremist dirty . I loved that there was literally 1 person in there but it is not worth it at all. The owner (female) don't recall her name has terrible customer service I signed up one day went the next hated it twenty back the day after yo let her know I didn't want to continue and if I could please get a refund bc I literally went for 20 minutes , also the fact that I paid cash I assumed it would've been easier to give my money back but when I asked she basically yelled at me saying " I don't know I don't know if I can do that" I was being super polite and did not deserve that . She then ended it with a " I'll call u today and see if I can give it back to you or not" 4 days later and still no call. At this point i do not care about the money but she could've at least been polite. This is all just for new comers advice not to totally bash this place . read more
