I went from being a overweight couch potato to running on hills and became strong just because of Erika's training.

I didn't mind paying December, but I was still charged in January. It's not about the $30 it's about doing the job correctly. I have been going to gyms for over 30 years, and unfortunately this has been one of the worst…read morefitness centers I've ever joined. They began signing people up around July 2024 before the gym was even open. I joined specifically because the salesperson told me they would be offering water aerobics. As of today, there are still no water aerobics classes included with membership. I asked an employee about it and was told the only option is a personal water aerobics session at $40 per class, and they only offer two per month. So instead of an included class, it would cost an extra $80 each month, which is completely misleading compared to what I was promised. On top of that, I referred three friends who all signed up within a month of each other, I was told--by the manager back in October 2025--that I qualified for a free year of membership, which I was not awear of and he even set it up for me. Despite that, I received notices from PayPal that EOS was attempting to charge me $24.99 for this February and March 2026. Not only is my regular membership supposed to be $19.99, but I shouldn't have been charged anything because of the free‑year promotion. They also increase the membership fee without notifying me. When I asked about it, I was told I actually didn't qualify for the free year because "all three referrals didn't sign up in the same month." I was never informed of this requirement, and it is not written anywhere. So why did the manager tell me I qualified? Why would it be set up on my account, only to later claim I don't meet the requirements? This company has poor communication, makes misleading promises to get members in the door, and seems to have very little regard for its customers. The saying "You Get What You Pay For" truly applies here. I would gladly pay more for a gym membership that actually communicates honestly and delivers what it promises. EōS really need to check its policy and be a little more considerate of their members.

I am now on their unlimited plan and try to go 4 to 5 times a week. That's how much I love it. I love every instructor I've had, (but I do have my favorites) and they all always grace and modifications, should I need it. As someone who works full-time, has kids in many activities and a very full social calendar I love that I can do this for just me and I feel amazing every time I finish a class. The only negative comment I have is that classes fill up very quickly (I'm not the only one in love!) so it's important to stay on top of scheduling. The positive regarding scheduling is they have 20 to 30 classes a day throughout their Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee locations.

It feels like people overlook the obvious: this is a small (by LA Fitness standards)…read moremembership-based gym, and you really do need to read your contract - any contract. That said, my girlfriend just signed up, and honestly, the terms were pretty straightforward--nothing complicated. I've been with LA Fitness for over 20 years across three states and even in Canada. It's not a boutique gym with luxury perks like spa treatments, dim lighting, or personal attendants--it's a high-volume gym that serves all kinds of people. They offer a solid range of amenities: classes, yoga, aquafit, core workouts, cycling, and usually a pool and a basketball court. Some have sauna and whirlpool. The Menifee location is on the smaller side, so yes, during peak hours it can be tough to access equipment. But that's just reality--you can only fit so many people into a limited space. Several nearby locations have more size and thus more amenities like a sprint track and weight sled. Not so at Minifee ... they just don't have the space. Understood. Sure, a deep clean every now and then wouldn't hurt, but it's not like the place is neglected. Staff are regularly cleaning floors and wiping down equipment throughout the day. Moreover I've always found the staff the be friendly attentive, and they answer the phone. At the end of the day, it's a busy, compact gym with decent machines, enough free weights, plus pools a basketball court that offers several fitness classes. If all that isn't worth about $1.50 a day to you, then maybe it's time to look elsewhere and see what that budget gets you.

I wanted to leave an updated review after being a member for more than six months. I also wanted to…read morerespond to a review I saw here that I personally do not think reflects the environment of this gym. From my experience, this gym has been very safe and respectful for women. I have never been disrespected by any men here. I go at different times of the day, both mornings and evenings, so I see different groups of people, and my experience has always been positive. Overall, the gym is great. I really like that there have been upgrades with new machines being added. It's nice to see the gym continuing to improve the equipment for members. One suggestion I would have is adding more recovery options. The sauna is great, but many gyms are starting to offer additional recovery amenities. It would be really nice to see things like massage chairs, a cold plunge, or other recovery features added for members. Another improvement that could help would be organizing some of the machines a bit more by section, such as grouping leg machines together and arm machines together. Aside from those suggestions, I really enjoy this gym. It's a clean, safe environment and a great place to work out. The staff here are also great and very helpful. I saw some people mention that the blonde woman who works here is rude, but that has not been my experience at all. She has always been very nice. She may have a strong voice and might come across as serious at first, but once you talk to her she is actually very kind. She may just not be a super bubbly person, and that's okay because everyone has different personalities. I would also like to point out that all of the employees here have been nice and respectful. But I do hope the owner see my review and does consider adding more recovery options : ) That would be Greattt !!!
