Gym is really nice, they have great customer service. Only thing I was very disappointed was someone stole my wife's bag out of the locker room. Over all faculty is well maintained. Keep in mind what ever you take to the gym you would want to keep it by your side or it will disappear. read more

They clearly despise their jobs and roll their eyes at everyone. They even walk away when they see someone approaching. It's as if they hire anyone there. I recently canceled my membership but overall this gym is clean and has all necessary equipment to use. The restrooms were ok and always had a funky smell to me but that's also every gym. Front desk staff is not the friendliest and sometimes don't even pay attention to who is coming and going. You just scan your phone and keep it moving. The two issues with this gym that lead me to cancel was they do not have a daycare. Being a single mom I do not have the luxury or just leaving my child at home because there is no one to leave him with. My 2nd problem is that they don't have any classes available to take. So unless the classes are hiding somewhere that I didn't see they are not available at this location. If you want a basic gym just to walk on a treadmill or lift some weights this is your place. read more

I have consistently gone to this gym the last couple of weeks again. I go early in the mornings and noticed every time that I do, it is pitch black. None of the lights in the parking lot are ever on when I go. I finally asked one of the employees what is going on with the lights. He said that there was an accident and the power was cut off. He made it sound like it was recent so I had asked when do they plan on fixing it and he said "I don't know, it's been several months." Like what?? My friend asked what's going on with that because as young women who come here, it feels extremely unsafe. The employee said that the "Owner doesn't care and doesn't want to fix it" and that "I just work here I don't care." We had asked if he was worried about his car and he said "I don't care I get dropped off".... there are no words. He also said that there was "ONLY 3 car break ins."...We the customers shouldn't have to feel unsafe coming here. Early mornings are the only time we are able to come. My friend had asked for the managers number or corporates and the employee just said just call and press a number. I don't even know what to say to that. I live in Lake Elsinore right down the street from Planet Fitness. I work just up the street from the Planet Fitness in Perris. I much prefer the one in Perris. As far as the cleanliness of the gym and the friendliness of the staff, it's equal. But the Perris location is much nicer due to the fact there isn't RV's with people living in them or cars parked in the parking lot with people living in them. It's like they flock to the parking lot when the sun goes down. I'm not trying to be mean but I work at night and hit the gym around 2:30am or later. So I'm always on my guard walking in and out. I don't feel like I have to do that in the Perris location. Nice clean gym with safe outside surroundings. read more

New general manager Hawkins suck! Been going here for years and no one ever asked me to provide an ID on file. New general manager told me I can't come in until I put ID on file. I said I have no problem showing you my ID but you're not putting it on file. No one else uses my membership but me. And they just lost three memberships myself my wife and my daughters because some stupid general manager trying to flex his title. They need me, I don't need them. I have two other memberships one with LA Fitness that I've been going to for over 20 years and Fitness 19, which is right behind them, so they're not doing me a favor, just saving me money. read more

The gym is okay. I see the same staff all the time since I go at the same time daily and they're always friendly and courteous. They're always using the vacuum to clearly the floors and wiping down equipment not in use so the facility stays tidy including the locker room and restrooms. Some people in these reviews complain about lights in the parking lot, not sure they control that so that's a weird issue too address as is being upset because you're asked for ID. They took my photo when I signed up at a different location and then when I changed to this one and started bringing my daughter all the time as a guest, they asked to take a photo of her to have it on file. Nothing wrong with a business making sure the person was paying is the person that is using it. There are a few issues I have. One is the size of the facility is a little small and a lot of the core equipment is in heavy use. Also an extended wait time for a smith machine. Also they don't have some standard machine like a hack squat machine and their cardio machines are the lower end machines. I've been to many planet fitness locations and their cardio machines have many more features on them. The ones here are basic basic lol. But I believe it's a demographic issue. Hopefully they will change that and upgrade to less basic cardio machines and possibly relocate in the future to a larger location. read more

Today would be the last day i go to this location my bf pays for a black card only so i can shower due to me loosing housing & currently waiting on housing, i noticed when we came in today they gave us awkward stares, probably cause i come in to shower, then suddenly a worker goes to the bathroom after i walked in, starting to make me feel uncomfortable for using the amenities, being that this is already an uncomfortable situation anyways having to shower at a darn gym but hey people go through things! And i doubt im the only one that gets a membership to shower but were paying for it so why make me uncomfortable? Anyways this is my third or second time here this week.. first off the showers is already filthy its hair everywhere meanwhile the workers are standing around laughing at guest asking for help and asking to speak to the manager! I give this planet fitness a two only because it has a lot of potential, but definitely needs some work. Shower changing stalls are always dirty and trash will sit there for days at a time. The only places that look clean are the areas that's planets fitness gym goers wipe down. Maybe a broom and squeegee and gallons of disinfectant can be left in the stalls so they can clean this up too. read more

The lights in the parking lot have been out for at least a month and it's pitch black in the early hours of the morning. I've had to use my phone flashlight a few times to make it in after parking which is also nerve wracking. The land lords of the lot should be ashamed for letting this problem go on for so long. There have been 3 car break ins. I feel anxious while working out which is the opposite of what one is trying accomplish. As a 24 hour gym it is their responsibility to make a safe environment for clients who expressly chose this gym to be able to work out after a night shift. Very disappointed read more

The new manager, Zach, is an idiot. Ever since he came to take over this gym, things have gone to crap. He is driving customers out and even his own current employees cage stand him. Employees bad mouth this new manager and admit to customers he is losing members because of his piss poor attitude and extreme lack of customer relations and concerns. This new manager has no common sense and is a coward when it comes to dealing with complaints from customers about members who hog equipment and don't clean up After themselves. I use to love this gym. But now that they have changed management the gym is no longer ran the way it should be. The new manager "Zack" is very rude and isn't at all polite. He thinks he knows everything and doesn't which in turn makes the member always wrong. We were a group of 11 people that meet everyday there, but 9 out of our group have cancelled and relocated to fitness 19. My friend and I still go occasionally, but we're going to have to cancel. As long as Zack is there, we won't be. I don't understand how all the regular staff are polite but the manager is not. If you're a manager, then you should conduct yourself like one. read more

If there was a negative star, that's what I would choose. This new manager Zach is extremely rude and entitled. Zach should not be the General Manager. He causes a hostile work environment according to his staff and a hostile environment for new and existing members. He is unprofessional and loses members everyday because of his very poor customer service. He does not create a comfortable environment for members, which is part of the judgement free zone for Planet Fitness. He either needs to be fired or retrained correctly. I can't seems to get a billing issues situated where I'm being charged twice in two different card for the same memberships. When I confronted their employees about this, their assistant manager by the name of Anastasia, didn't even look to be 21. Doesn't know what she's doing. Her response was simply that we were being charge for late fees couldn't even give me a straight answer did not want to fix the problem her associate Joshua on the other hand politely gave me an email to be able to fix my issue when there's assistant manager apparently doesn't have a manager above her according to her dumb ass wouldn't even give me a simple email kept refusing to give me any other information. She kept saying that she was the only manager and she had no other manager a buffer. I am not stupid Everybody knows that if you are an assistant manager, you have a higher up above you a manager she refused to give me this information refuse to give me any kind of information and how to resolve this issue I know that Planet Fitness gyms are independently owned and if this is the only way that I can get the owners information, then let it be it. Your assistant manager needs to have more training on how to handle situations in a respectful manner. She was very rude and disrespectful. Wanna answer anything and would not help keep trying to blame the issue on another teammate when if she's assistant manager, and falls on her or not train her team correctly on the proper protocol on how to switch customers billing information correctly, she will not take any responsibility for it. I understand physically it wasn't her fault, but it is her fault as an assistant manager to be able to train her team properly where she has filled I will be reporting my problem and trying to get this face with the email that was provided for me but I need to find a way and if this is the only way to do so to get the owner of this gym information and let it be it. This girl by the name of Anastasia needs a lot more training how to handle things properly and a lot more training in general. She is not fit to be manager if she doesn't know what she is doing and she was extremely rude. I will be canceling my membership with this gym and will not be looking back, I had high hopes for this gym as in I used to be with Planet Fitness a Moreno Valley and I never had no problem. It wasn't until coming here to this Perris location. This is honestly the best gym I've ever been to! I've been to both Moreno Valley and Riverside and they are no where near as nice as Perris. It's kept clean, the staff is nice and the managers will answer any questions you have about memberships. I'm planning on being a member here for a very long time! read more

I've been coming to this gym about 5-6 times a week for the past year or so. I feel comfortable working out here and it's been easy to be consistent with a gym that makes everyone feel welcome.
