Ordered delivery from Tong's on Christmas Eve as we were traveling to Key West for the holiday. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the food. It arrived fast, fresh, and hot. The general tso's chicken was nice chunks of chicken breast that weren't dry. The low main had a great flavor to it, and the pork fried rice was great. The crab Rangoon also had a decent amount of filling to them and were fried nicely. Sesame chicken is very thin sliced and was way overcooked. It was like chewing on chicken jerky. Threw it out.

If you live or work near the airport, this food venue is very convenient. Most food places are near the downtown area of Key West. I give'em them credit for it. The fried shrimp was great. It is a great appetizer to include with your meal. I can definitely order this, again. The orange chicken plate can with a lot of orange sauce. It is either you a fan or not. I wasn't a fan of all the orange sauce... The shrimp fried rice was questionable. The pictures on Yelp of the meal looked burned. I thought it was the way it was cooked. However, nope, the shrimp friend rice was burn or it was from the button of the pan. It looked and tasted burn. I do not recommend the shrimp fried rice from here. Worst I ever had. We ordered delivery on a Sunday and they were quick. Pepper steak, sweet and sour pork, seafood soup, wonton soup and veggie lo mien. All pretty good. The lo mien could use a little more flavor, but just mixed it with the pepper steak and problem solved. read more

We went on Christmas Day and didn't expect much seeing that it's a takeout-only place with no ambience. But we were pleasantly surprised by the food - portions were large, and the entrees contained good balance of meat and veggies, the veggies and meats were of quality cuts (no weird fat/tendon parts) and the food was not too greasy. We ordered dinner-sized chicken with broccoli and house special rice noodles, plus lunch portions of pepper steak and sesame chicken, as well as fried chicken wings and egg rolls. Lunch portions provided too much rice, so we didn't need the container of rice that came with dinner sized chicken/broccoli. The prices weren't great...but it's to be expected, on par with all other places after all the inflation news. Plus, I'm from NYC/NJ area, so I'm still getting used to Key West pricing. This is my go to place for excellent Chinese food. Family run business tasty dishes great portions and they deliver.

No need to have so much onions in mu shu pork and the meat should be cut smaller and all their dishes have too much brown gravy .

If this is the best Chinese food in Key West, my recommendation is to wait until you are somewhere else. Bland to odd tastes on everything. If looking for basic tasteless American Chinese food and can't wait to get back on the mainland, it will serve that duty, but not much else. read more

A member of our party ordered the duck. It came later than all the other dishes. Upon eating the duck, he realized that either it had previously been frozen, and defrosted, then fried in a hurry, or it was very, very old. He notified the wait staff about it, and was told "I'll tell the chef"- however we were still charged for this- nearly $15. Duck was dry, tasteless, tough, and old tasting. He's now completely sick in the bathroom and really outraged that we just paid money to eat here without any offer from the restaurant to at least take the item off the check. Nastiest Food I've ever had. The sweet and sour Chicken was cold and Stale. Don't waste your money

Fast service. This is more like a take out place they have a few tables but do yourself a favor take your food and go to the beach or somewhere else. I had try a few different Chinese food around and my option for take out is always them. Sometimes they do forget to add you utensils but most of the time we just go home to eat so it's not really a big deal. Food is average. I recommend this place if you are hungry, and want something fast, they normally have my food ready in 10mnts...when food is ready that fast when I'm hungry that's a plus for me. read more

I'm giving this 4 stars because it's honestly the best Chinese I've found on the island, just FYI all the Chinese here sucks and I'm a huge fan of Chinese food and haven't found REAL good Chinese food since I left Anaheim, CA.
