Classic kettle corn is always a great choice. Some salt water taffy pieces in the flavors of green apple, cotton candy, orange cream, and grape. Smells so good when you walk in. I just like that popcorn smell. So much to look at when you come in. They have some old fashion candies, they have tin buckets for popcorn with all kinds of prints .they have gift boxes that are completely customizable. Great place for gifts.

They have a much bigger selection of products then I would have figured. Books on Texas and food, Candy both mass and local, mints, chapstick, tins, and Popcorn! There are the main flavors listed and they seem to have either monthly or seasonal offerings. There is a display of each bag size near the front filled with popcorn so you can see how much you get with the smallest to the biggest which is a nice touch. They have bulk candy and soda's as well. There is some neat and fun decor and a whole throwback vibe. It was a cool place to visit, glad we did. Chances are we will be back at some point, No other customers while we were there. The gentleman running the place was very nice and patient as we took our time looking over everything. My wife picked 4 types of popcorn and got small bags of each. I can't remember all that she picked but the ZILKER PARK was the best of the four. I would suggest checking this place out,

Walking in, we were immediately greeted and self-identified as first-time visitors. We were given a quick tour of the place, where they made their chocolate by hand and their current selections of chocolate bars, toffee barks, and truffles. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to try the different intensities of chocolate bits they had available as samples. Ranging from 50% to 100%, my personal favorite was the 90%. We ended up getting 2 mint truffles, 2 coffee truffles, and a small bag of toffee bark for $16 + tax. They don't taste too bad with a glass of wine we had later that day, though they weren't our favorite chocolates. Overall, this chocolate factory is still worth a stop in to check out the chocolate making process, by which they still use direct-sourced cocao beans from Ecuador. They are under new ownership, yet they plan to begin offering wine pairings and couples nights in Summer 2026.

I had read an article in Food & Wine about how Amity Baking is one of the Top 10 Bakeries in the entire country and thought "how come I've never heard of this place before?" I checked out the website and it was awesome: easy online ordering with straightforward pickup instructions. Amity Baking doesn't have a storefront. You place the order online and then a few days later go right to the bakery in its convenient downtown location (close to Mopac). I ordered the following: Butter Croissants - exactly the way a croissant should taste. If you warm it up in a toaster oven, it gets a bit flaky the way real croissants do! Brioche Rolls - I'd skip these next time. Just a standard roll; nothing worth writing home about. Apple Bourbon Bundt Cake - Simply yet prettily packaged with great flavor. It wasn't drowning in icing and it didn't need to be. This well spiced, moist cake totally hit the spot and was appropriately seasonal while still being a bit different than pecan pie. All in all, I'll be going back for sure. I can't wait to see what desserts the folks at Amity have cooking up for Christmas!
