Not to be confused with Men's Wh*rehouse which, if we're being honest, should be for women too…read more It's expensive but it's a friendly and decent place to buy suits. Of course it's a big chain but in Pittsburgh there are a massive array of places to buy nice men's clothing. I needed something in a pinch so we were glad it was here out in the suburbs and service is definitely friendly.

I came in to book rentals for my wedding next year and the service that I received from not only the regular employees, but also the store manager was absolutely disgusting to say the least. In the past, I hadn't had many bad experiences with this location but they seem to have cleaned house and completely redid their staffing. Josh didn't seem to know what he was talking about, Mike wasn't very helpful and couldn't give me direct answers to any questions, and the manager Jenn on this specific visit was just very rude and passive aggressive. I went in with my fiancé knowing exactly what we wanted, as we had spoke with someone at a bridal show in January and had randomly visited the South Hills location during a shopping trip about a month ago and decided to actually look at what was offered for rental packages. We were very pleased with what was offered and just needed to make sure that our groomsmen were okay with renting what was going to be needed and see if everyone actually needed to rent all of the pieces or if they had a suit that was similar and just needed a shirt, vest, etc. When we went to the Robinson location, we spoke with a few people, including the store manager and she brushed off all of what we had wanted and made our plans sound small and stupid. We ended up not booking with Men's Wearhouse and went to Top Hat Tuxedo in Fox Chapel, where we were met with overwhelming support and kindness - unlike this location. I can tell that the manager walks around on a high horse and i'm not sure why. The store was dirty, the staff was undertrained, and the manager was rude. I hope other people have better experiences than we did, but yes, a 1 star from us, and some advice to any engaged couple seeing this - DON'T BOOK HERE. The manager will make your feelings and ideas for YOUR wedding feel invalid and small. It's your wedding, not hers and not her employees. If they treat you the way they treated us, go somewhere better. Top Hat Tuxedo was great.

I have never been so disappointed in a service or company. I went to Minh to have alterations done…read moreon 2 dresses. I went in at 5:30 on a Monday night. I was in a bit of a time crunch and thought she was my only option. After trying on my 2 dresses she gave me astronomical quotes for what it would be. I immediately regretted it, but didn't think I had any other option so I paid the $519.95 that was asked. After I got home I realized that that really wasn't a feasible option for me, especially being a single mother. I went back to Minh at 11:00 am the very next day and asked for only one of the 2 dresses back and explained that it was just way out of my budget. She then told me I could have my dress but I had to pay her 50% of the quoted amount. That quoted amount was $300 for a hem and taking the bust area in about an inch. I told her I was only taking one dress, not both. She did not care. She said she already did a service. She was rude and her husband even said "You have to pay her". I BEGGED her not to do that. She said its her policy and her sign says "Cancellations are subject to 50% fee". While I completely understand having policies in place, she didn't even have my dress for 24 hours. Not a stitch or cut or any alterations were done at all. I also informed her that the sign says SUBJECT TO which does not mean she HAS to charge me that. It is a discretionary amount. I told her I would pay a consultation fee or something that would equate to the 30 minutes of time I spent in her store but she said NO. The charge was absolutely egregious. I was literally robbed. I will never be ok with what she did. I will never recommend her to a single person ever. My 73 year old Mom went to the store to ask them to show me some grace and give me my money back and they called the police on my mom and physically put her hands on and shoved my mother. This family is the highest level of disturbing and should be shut down. Side note, there was a gentleman in the store that heard me literally sobs and cries for help and even offered to pay for me. I just want him to know that he was a sweet sweet man and that meant so much to me, but that woman doesn't deserve a dime of anyone's money. I would like the $250 back that she charged me to hold my dresses for 17 hours. I also want to emphasize that I was really overwhelmed and felt like I had no other option. I needed one dress within the next 3 weeks. AND I was only trying to ask for one of the two dresses back. I was still supporting her business.
