I only come here. I live in Daly City and we come over here because it's spacious and quite homey. The chairs are so comfortable and the WiFi is a great plus. You feel like you are at home doing your laundry. Hungry? There's more than a few spots to grab a bite around here. (Within walking distance.) Need to do your grocery shopping? Safeway 2 min. walk away. Having one of those stressful days where you have so much laundry you need a drink? There's a bar across the street. Seriously. This location is perfect. More expensive than other laundromats in the area. Limited number of washing machines, 1/3 weren't working. One TV high up, near the ceiling, not working? One folding table. Not going back. Place is a bit depressing at night. Only thing going for it? It's next to a Safeway and some restaurants. Not recommended. read more

It was an ok place, machines were great even though very over priced. Folding table was very large and handy however the furniture in this place is exceptionally dirty for a place used to get stuff clean. I'd only ever go here again to wash a large comforter or blanket and even then only during the day. read more

Absolutely filthy! There is water all of the ground. Puddles of water. Laundry soap on the ground. Trash. Half of the washers you open and the spot where you put soap is gross. Over the past few months this place has become more disgusting. And the worst part is it's quite expensive. If you want to do a real load of laundry it's $4.75 to wash, sure you can wash 6 pieces in the small one for $4.00 but that's it. I used to like this place bc there were different size washers. But the price has gone up and it's just becoming gross. I wish Pacifica had more options. read more

Way OVERPRICED & FAULTY equipment! There are no washers priced for small loads, just small washers with big price, OVER $3.00! All of these machibes are way too expensive. This place is pretty average for a laundromat. The couches are a bit dirty and I saw someone lose money in the soap vending machine, but otherwise my experiences have been as expected. There are regular, large, and extra large washing machines, as well as regular/large and extra large dryers. If you feel like waiting in the place, they have free Wi-Fi, which is nice. read more

I like the decor, its USUALLY clean, has big and average size machines. I love the comfy couches when they get cleaned.

So the prices can be a little high but this is my go to spot if I want to get my laundry done quick. I usually go with the bigger wash that's about $4.75 and 24 mins and then dry for $1.50. It's quick and cleans my clothes, no complaints here. As for the couches they seem pretty clean, if they didn't I wouldn't be sitting on them. Oh also free wifi read more

Seriously, only complaint. After being sick for a couple of weeks thanks to a cold and pregnancy, I had a LOT of laundry to do. I drove around Daly City and SF for an hour and a half looking for a place to park near a laundry mat. I was so frustrated, I simply went home so I could pull up stuff on yelp. I checked this place out, and the reviews seemed decent, so I went. I'm so thankful I did! More than enough parking, tons of washers and dryers, and a gigantic amazing folding table. I've spent 4+ hours at a laundry mat before, but I was only here for 2 hours start to finish (folding and all). The mega washers seem expensive, but they wash the whole load in 24 minutes. With a 1 year old, time is important. I dried my king comforter in the big dryer in 30 minutes. I had to go grab more cash from the ATM, and my first two loads in the mega washers were done by the time I got back. While we were there, the owner came in to take care of some business. She is incredibly nice! We chatted, she swooned over my daughter, and she gave me some recommendations on restaurants. I hate laundry (honestly, why can't we all just have laundry fairies?), but when I need to go to a laundromat, you can bet I'll be at Tons of Bubbles! read more

I lost the key to my apartment complex's laundry room, and have been using Tons of Bubbles in the interim while waiting for a new key. It is very clean with new washers that are fast and in good condition. It is expensive, but I would happily pay more for a clean environment with well maintained machines. Another time I used this facility to wash some comforters and one of the change machines "ate" some of my money. I filled out the complaint slip and within the week I had a check in the mail for my refund. Another bonus is that customers who go there are respectful unlike some of the places I went to when I was younger and had to go regularly. I am typically pretty grossed out by public laundromats because lord only knows what people put into the machines, but this one makes me very comfortable and I will probably be back even when I have my key again if I want to do laundry quickly. read more

This is a superb laundromat. Your clothes are extremely clean after using machines. It's a comfortable place that is located by stores, Italian cuisine or organic taqueria. What laundromat do you know that the owner actually checks in with you ? Greets and up keeps the place and is actually present some of the time? I've never been to one. This is thee one! I was browsing around for another laundry place and I came across this on yelp. I decided to check it out since I was bored of the one I was going to and it was quite unsanitized to me. So yes, I decided to drive a couple of miles to check it out. I was attracted to the art work in this place and the cleanness of the area. Plus they have a couple of couches to chill on and a big table to fold your clothing. They share the same plaza as Safeway and other restaurants. Alot of attracting places located near the laundromat. The walgreens is one block down on the other end and the McDonald's, Subway, other restaurants are on the other end also. Behind the plaza is the beach! Definitely, a cold area especially if you are going to do laundry in the evening or on a foggy cold day. Everything is organized and they have little notes for every little area in the place. Parking isn't bad since its a huge plaza plus with other restaurants near by. The only problem I have about the place is that its quite on the pricier side for me. 25 cents for a 3 minute wash only. Compared to the other places I go to in Daly City it is 25 cents for 7 minutes. But I guess you pay for a nice place like their's and the spots within the plaza. Another thing is the place is unattended so there's no one watching the place through the day. Your laundry is your own responsibility. Anyway, if I am ever within the area I can definitely check out this place especially on a nice sunny day since its near the beach! Have a nice walk while I wait for the clothes to wash or dry. So I had a bad experience the first time I went there, machines ate my money and dryers only took a day to finally dry. I received an email from this lady I'm assuming the owner. She tried to tell me that they were experiencing problems with the pg&e gas and that why nothing was working. So then why not close for the day. Not to mention it must have been an intermittent problem cause some machines worked and some didn't. This last time was even worst! None and I mean none of the dryers were working. They had white tags all over them. and people were standing around waiting for dryers to open up but of course they never did cause the clothes that were in them were wet and more quarters were needed. Now let me add that this place is under new owners cause before everything ran flawlessly. As I stood there waiting for something to to work, again I lost another 6 bucks in the machine but now I have a bunch of wet clothes and have to stick it out cause I don't want to lug heavy wet clothes. Once again, I gonna be late for work because of this place for the same dam reason. I can feel myself getting more and more frustrated because one of the owners was there and he was just standing around chit chatting with some other guy. I said excuse me but are you planning to fix these machines cause none of them are working. My answer yes im getting to it. Then "SHE" comes in. You know I thought it was funny one time when I came here and they were arguing like nobody else is there. But again the bickering started a lot of running around but nobody standing at a machine to even look like there trying to fix anything. I turned to the women and said this was the 2nd time in a row that I've come here and none of there machines worked but they sure do take your money. Her answer was "Thats why I'm here, I just found out and came right away". Again, another coincidence that all of these machines miraculously broke down at the same time. I couldn't not help but get pissed cause she's not talking to me shes dam close to yelling at me. I then asked her why doesn't she close her doors when something like this happens. Instead you have all of these people standing around waiting on 2 machines that semi work. It's a waste of our time and money. She turned to me got into my face and said "Excuse me, do you own a business, do you know how things work". Nice people skills lady! I told her know I do not because I don't take on ventures that are way over my head!" Things escalated real quick and before I knew this dumb ass lady is yelling at me up in my face making every excuse possible. I said to her (and probably shouldn't have, but I'm not accustom to people in my face yelling at me) in a calm voice, "Bitch yell at me one more time". I know that was escalating things more then they already were. Next thing I know there telling me to get out and never come back. Which I was trying to do in the first place. Ton's of Bubbles use to be my go to place. it was convenient close to home and had a huge machine for comforters ect. Now its filthy dirty, homeless people always sleeping on the couches (couches that have been there for more years then I can count). Maybe I did come off a little harsh to this chick who was stressing out big time and it just made matters worst. But, hey, I'm a paying customer. She should have addressed my issues in a calm and business like way, not get all trailer trash on me and give me every excuse in the book why things were the way they were. Leaving my old go to laundry may with a shit load of wet clothes I drove down Palmetto and found a small laundry mat right by a middle school. My god, what was I thinking. The place was so clean, machines so much cheaper, and THEY WORK. Not to mention there is someone there during business hours who for a small price will fold your clothes for you. At the end of the day, it all worked out for the best. I won't be going to that ratchet ass laundry mat anymore. I was born and raised in Pacifica and know a lot of people around town. I've told this story to a lot of people and I'm not the only one that has had problems there. Not specifically with the owner just they way things are running there now. I will never go back to tons of Bubbles at least not under this owner ship and neither will a lot of people I know. Just a word of caution. Never leave your clothes unattended there cause you will come back to no clothes at all. This is our favorite new place to do laundry. A little pricey but can't be beat convenience and the beautiful views of the ocean.

My faamily n I have been looking for a faster and more efficient way to do laundry. I hit up yelp and tons of bubbles didn't have the best reviews. Still they are in a convenient location and were worth a try. Plus they have a website- yay! The downside: the website didn't have their prices listed. I had to email the owner and she got back to be before the end of the day. That was great! So we decided to try it out. We loaded all our quarterS and laundry and I was very anxious because if the clothes didn't come out - we would have wasted 10+$ than normal on laundry-not to mention the time etc. Not only did everything run great at the place, our clothes came out cleaner than ever! We will now be regulars as we can do laundry, hit up 24 hour and safeway all withing a few hours! My 3 year old loved it and had a ball counting the bubbles on the wall as he ate his snacks on the comfy couch. Its kid friendly and there were enough wheel carts to share w others. the only reasons we didn't give this a five are: the couches were kinda dirty, the dryers should have a notice that says a normal load from the washer ranges about 20-30 mins so that first timers don't have to guess and one of the dryers was extremely loud and sounded like it was going to explode. (which reminds me-i wanted to put a notice on it but I didn't want to say it was out of order.) other than that we were happy!
