By far the best Italian restaurant in town! Not only was the food amazing but so was the service!! We had the pleasure of having Matt as our server. He was very friendly and totally on his A-game. He always tended to us and made sure our beverages were full. My husband had the Penne Alla Vodka with shrimp which he said was incredible. He raved about the sauce and the generous portion of shrimp. I had the Italian Chopped salad which was delicious, very fresh and had the best vinaigrette dressing. My toddler son had the spaghetti and meatballs and he gobbled it all up and he's a picky eater! I highly recommend coming in here and ask for Matt if you can! read more

I wanted fig pizza. Right when we got there our hostess sat us outside with our frenchie. We looked over the menu and realized there was no fig pizza. Darn. After 15 minutes, no service. So we start on a low point. Finally, someone noticed us and they gave us service. The manager came and was friendly and really was a bright spot for the night. We ordered the bacon figs and prosciutto goat cheese pizza. As soon as the bacon figs came I wanted to dive right in, unfortunately we had no silverware. So once again I sat there staring at the figs. Our pilipino roots said "screw it, use our hands" but instead we flagged someone down. They looked busy and the expression on her face was that of frustration. I understand - it was busy, and stuff happens. So good on them for realizing those issues. I enjoyed the fig bacon. Perhaps because I was craving it. The pizza was fantastic and what I wanted. Thin, delicious and cheesy. The crowd was wonderful and they were very accommodating to our puppy. Although we had a rocky first start, in the end the service made up for it and they made us feel welcome. 3 Stars - we'll definitely come back because it may of been an off night. Good food. Good service and reasonable prices. A little on the slow side if eating in as it appears they are heavy on take out service which impacts the ovens as they are limited in capacity as a result. Our first time there they were well on the long side of the stick and comp'ed our food without us raising an issue. The second time all was good, just slow. We will continue to go back in hopes we've seen the worse of the service. read more

We love to stop in here for dinner before a movie next door, and we bring all of our out of town friends and family here for delicious Italian food. Excellent- is the only way to describe my two experiences here at this location. First & foremost the pizza is delicious. I'm not a huge fan of pizza but the quality at this location is by far superior than many other places I've enjoyed over the years. Tasty, creative, and made to perfection. Three stars because its inconsistent. When they make a good pizza they make a really good pizza! So if your lucky its worth it! But on the off chance you end up with one of the lazy pizza chefs you may have a doughy pizza or your topping are plastered to one side of the pizza. First time here. Service was VERY good and fast. We got zucchini sticks as an appetizer and they were very good - not too heavy. Then we had pizza. Very fresh cheese and sauce. This is our 2nd favorite pizzeria in the Austin area. The flavor is good and the service is decent. We ordered the Primo pizza, it was loaded with pepperoni and sausage but light on the roasted peppers, mushrooms and caramelized onions. If your in the Bee Cave area and dont want to trek all the way into basically downtown ATX for some tasty pizza, then definitely check this place out. read more

This is some fantastic NY style thin (but not too thin) pizza. The crust has a great chew to it and also a slight crispness when you first bite into it. Great balance in the crust. The oven cooks the pie at 1000 degrees which is what makes it so good. We ordered a pepperoni pie and it was simply fantastic. The meat and the cheese blended together and were so hot and delicious, then the crust was a great finish. Their Caesar salad is also very good. It is served with one of their garlic knots, mmmmm. We sat upstairs, which I recommend, because you can watch your pie being made. The place has a great feel to it and the decor is really cool. Our server was Brooklyn and she was really great. She gave us some great suggestions and she was super sweet. If you find yourself near the Hill Country Domain and in need of a pizza fix. I highly recommend this place. They also sell slices if you don't want a whole pie. A slice of hot pizza with a cold pint of Peroni, always a great meal. read more

The staff is marvelous and for a little work client event that I wanted to do there, I had called in a week before and when I came in, the guy who answered the phone totally remembered! The place is two stories with a patio outside as well. It was a nice enough day that I had wished I sat outside. Maybe next time when its not for work and for a happy hour with friends! Now the pizza, for a 12" priced around 14-16 bucks each, I was very happy with the freshness of the ingredients. There are quite a few things that I would love to come back and try. But honestly, I am such a fan of the pizza here, that is probably what I will stick to. read more

We took our elderly neighbors to Tony C's on July 23, 2018 for a celebration dinner, it was our friend's 93 birthday! They're a lot of fun, and love trying new things, and they love wine (what good friends)! We felt that Tony C's was a great choice as we had been several times before, and had a good experience. It was a bit loud, and hard to hear, but overall we just repeated ourselves and had a lively conversation. Our waiter, Edon, was really engaging, knowledgeable, and kind. He seemed very professional and confident, we liked him a lot! He told us a background of our wine selection, and commented on his preferences, and was extremely helpful and interesting. The only part of the evening that wasn't as fantastic as our waiter was the cooks and the support staff, which might be a bit harsh, I think they were new, and everyone is a beginner at something at one time or another, so we were willing to give them a pass, in fact Edon had mentioned that the kitchen staff was new. We had ordered calamari as an appetizer to share, but the kitchen brought out our salads first. The arugula and beet salads were sort of bland, but the goat cheese fritters were outstanding, and saved the salad. Everyone at our table really liked them. When Edon came to the table and asked about our salads, we said they were okay, except that we didn't get our calamari, but we didn't mind eating it out of order, so please bring it! The calamari was not as crispy brown as we would have liked, it was sort of still white, and could have been fried a bit longer. The marinara was a bit scant, as there was a small vessel of it, and four people at our table. I think we all would have enjoyed a bit more crispy calamari, and more lemons and marinara. The most unfortunate part of our meal was the cast iron vessels in which the main course was served. Our friends shared lasagna, and my husband and I shared the penne pasta with Italian sausage. First, the cook forgot to put the Italian sausage in our dish, so Edon brought us some out on a plate to "throw" into our entree. My husband and I both noticed that the cast iron dish was not seasoned, and our pasta had a strong taste of cast iron. That taste sort of ruined it for me, and I could not eat it. I can't forget to mention that our waiter did bring out a lovely complimentary dessert for our friend's birthday. It was some sort of sopapilla (sp) or a beignet, or whatever the Italian equivalent of that is, with some warm honey, and they were oh-so-yummy! That was delicious, and very kind. The takeaway is that I hope that the cast iron gets seasoned soon, and that the cook staff gains some confidence and experience. While we were disappointed in our experience last night, we do know that Tony C's makes great pizza, and has a really nice wine list. They also have a really nice waiter, Edon, and we wish him the very best. If you go to Tony C's, order their great pizza and you won't be sad you did. :-) read more

My husband and I were in town for the weekend and decided to stop in for dinner. We are SO glad we did. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is to die for! We ordered the garlic knots which were fantastic. For dinner we shared a Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza. I have to say their Caesar salad is the best one I have ever had. Ol' Rooster loves pizza but I'm fairly particular about the crust. Thin and crispy gets my taste buds dancing; deep dish chain pizza being on the loosing end of my affection. From what I had heard, Tony's wouldn't disappoint. The Calamari was a good start, nicely fried with just a bit of oil on the plate. Marinara wasn't that exciting and could have used a bit more flavor. Little Rooster ate his first slice of cheese pizza; ended up using the linen napkin as a makeshift blanket in the booth for some fake snoozing. I hit the lunch special for two slices of pie, Mulberry with sliced meatballs and caramelized onions. The other item coal fired peppers were absent from the slice despite the menu and server description. I should have stayed with the Mulberry instead of ordering pepperoni. Yeah, it was good but too similar to the chain stuff that we all loath. The crispy crust with a good bit of char on the bottom was top notch. Service was decent but please wait till we finish the appetizer before bringing my entree. I was half way thru the calamari when my slices arrived. I'd like to go back and try a whole pie with the family instead of some slices they made earlier and reheated in the oven. I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, 2 slices of cheese and an Italian chopped salad. Everything was delicious and the salads came with some bomb garlic bread that was extra soft. I loved the fans with misters for sitting out on the patio. We decided to sit inside upstairs but it was still a nice option if we wanted to sit outside. The misters make it a lot more comfortable to sit outside in the heat. The movie theatre is right next store to the restaurant, so it makes it pretty convenient if you want to get a bite to eat before a movie. They even have a walk up window that you can order at and get your food quickly if you're in a hurry. read more

Enjoyed my first visit here and happy to be supporting a local business in Bee Cave at the Galleria. The restaurant was super clean, prompt service with smiles, and the fried baby Bella's and garden salad were delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their food too. They made us wait 28 minutes for pizza slices just sitting under a lamp. We had kids, a baby and just wanted to grab a quick slice of pizza to go. The place wasn't busy, we thought it would be somewhat quick. At about half an hour they grab slices from their food warmer that looked like it had been there all day. I get it, pizza by the slice sometimes comes luke warm and was made earlier in the day. That's ok, but why make people wait so long? I can deal with crappy, warmed over pizza if it's relatively fast, but come on. read more

I went to Tony C's for the first time and it was PACKED. All the staff was working hard and running around to diners as quickly as they could... But unfortunately it was not enough, waited close to an hour for two personal sized pizzas to arrive. I got a cheese pizza and their special of the night which was a shrimp scampi pizza. Both were delicious, and as someone from Long Island, I'm a fair judge of good pizza. I will be back...but at less busy hours for better service. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place!! I have been a regular at the Avery Ranch location and had high expectations when taking my Mom and son to the Hill Country Galleria restaurant ~ and we were not disappointed!!! Our server Matt was phenomenal from the minute we sat down ~ the wine he suggested was outstanding (and better than what I had planned to order), the calzone appetizer was to die for and he made sure our every need was met throughout our meal. The prosciutto and goat cheese pizza is still hands down my fav!! We will definitely plan to go back on a Tuesday when Matt is bartending to see what he has to offer there as well! First, I have to say I was impressed that a manager reads the yelp reviews and took the time to reach out. That alone would make me want to try again. Which I did. Sat at the bar and service was very attentive. Had the bacon wrapped figs again which were still good! Shared a chopped salad (delicious) and flatbread (good, but pretty standard). Still cannot say this would be my new go to restaurant given my experiences and the fact that both locations are out of the way for me, but I'm at least opening to going back to try other dishes should a friend suggest it or I'm in the neighborhood. The server was really friendly, kind of overly bullshitty so - came across phony but I wouldn't give a bad review just for that. I went in hoping for a quick slice of pizza (had an appointment with the salon a few stores away in 45 mins). The waiter enthusiastically greeted me, recommended the zucchini sticks (which he said were AMAZING) which I decisively chose to order and then he bounced away. Someone other than my server dropped them off and bounced quickly. I took a few bites and decided they were boring and I wanted to go ahead with my pizza order. I tried making "I need something" faces at all of the staff members for about 20 minutes and finally gave up and sort of awkwardly waved. That worked! He bounded over and I promptly ordered two slices of the "slice of the day." I was informed that is was "really good" and excited for some really good pizza so this place could earn a decent Yelp review. I waited awhile for what turned out to be mediocre standard issue pizza, wolfed it down and jogged down the sidewalk for my appointment. I wouldn't go back or recommend. read more

Went to Tony C's for the first time last night. Was at the free movie on the lawn and our group needed food! We ordered on line and walked over when it should have been ready. The place was packed. Lots of people everywhere because of the free event. They looked maybe under staffed? Our order was no where to be found and we had a group of starving people waiting... So why 5 stars? My partner and I came in for lunch today for the very first time. First off this restaurant is beautiful and you can tell it is well taken care of. The food was soooo good.
