We stopped by Tony C's for dinner before a movie. We ordered a slice of Margherita pizza and the fettuccine Alfredo pasta. The pasta was okay--nothing standout but decent. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the pizza at all. That said, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice, which made the overall experience more pleasant. I probably wouldn't come back just for the food, but if I'm catching a movie nearby and need a quick bite, I might grab the pasta again.

TonyC - wow best pizza ever! When I turn 25 yrs old I had to stop eating pizza due to bad acid reflex but just about 4 years ago I came to TonyC and try their pizza omg I was able to hold it down with not acid issues. Best place Tuesday buy one get one free pizza even to go order great employees bartender Emily is awesome very friendly and on top her game we love coming here once or twice a week. Everyone come out here and say Hi to Emily bartender and Greg manager great please to be at!

One of the best local pizza spots around! I'm a local in Bee Cave and we love this place! The restaurant is small and quant but they are able to seat a lot of guests (downstairs seating, upstairs seating, large patio). The smell of fresh pizza dough as you walk in is awesome! Staff are super nice, very attentive and they make a great effort for your experience to be a good one. One of our recent visits, we tried the Buffalo mozzarella over marinara sauce and the meatball sandwich. They hit a home run on both! The pizza is for sure on point! We usually get the pizza every time but wanted to try something new. Hope you're able to visit this restaurant!

We were looking for a place with a decent happy hour in bee cave and Yelp suggested Tony C's. We reached there at 5.50 and the happy hour gets over at 6 PM but the server was super helpful and help put in the order for beers and apps really quickly. btw it is a nice happy hour, $2 off on beers, $3 off on apps. The ambience in the place is nice but beware that on cold evenings, almost all tables get a draft of air every time someone comes in. It might be a good idea to sit upstairs but they only have one server in the area. The beers were fresh and nice. Some people might say, draft beer is the same everywhere, but IMHO that's not true. The Allstad Heff had a distinct fragrance that made it amazing in my books, the electric jellyfish was nice too. The garlic fries were nice but too oily and the same was true for the buffalo mozzarella (which had no buffalo flavor I could taste). In general after 2 hours of eating it, the food made me wish I hadn't eaten it. We might go back just for the beer.

Caprese Salad- do not recommend

While this is the perfect spot for a quick bite before and after the movies, I'm only giving 3 stars because of the Value$ for what you get. Prices are higher than I would normally pay for Italian meals and especially in the portions. Most of the food was delicious but servings were small and prices were high. Kids plates- $8 for a very small plate of spaghetti or buttered noodles. Burrata Caprese- do not recommend at all. $16 for basically a plate of tomatoes. It needed more basil and cheese with bread to be worth it. Meatballs- ok these were really good but 3 medium size meatballs for $15 - won't do that again Stromboli - nothing to phone home about. And it wasn't that great. We have had slices of pizza from here and those are really good and decent specials. The food did come out really fast so that did help! We also didn't have to wait for a table so we appreciated how quick we could come in and out.

Freshly poured Guinness at the bar.

This is the pizza place to go to for a quick tasty meal while shopping at the Galleria or going to the movie theatre. I've been here a few times and it's consistently delicious. I stopped before a movie to get a small pizza and a beer. So I sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive, quick and friendly. I was literally in there for 20 minutes from ordering to check. The margharita pizza was really good. A thin crust but hand tossed. The bread dough was fresh and full of flavor. My only complaint was the tomatoes weren't cut completely in pieces. So when I'd take a bite, all the tomatoes would be all connected from the skin. It could use more basil but otherwise it was exactly what I was craving. They also have Guinness in a bottle that didn't quite fill a pint glass. I didn't see her pour it but it had a big head on it when she served it. The prices are reasonable and perfect for a casual dining experience. There's a covered patio or eat inside. There's an upstairs with more tables as well. It's a lively atmosphere and a lot of families were there with children. The menu has a lot of choices of various Italian dishes, side dishes and other tasty treats. You can also order by the slice and take away right at the front. Plenty of free parking either street or in the parking garage.

Maybe it was an off day? Service was very slow. 35 minutes to get lunch served and it wasn't busy. GM is incredibly nice but our food lacked flavor. Grilled chicken salad came with flavorless chicken and mostly connecting parts that were tough and unappetizing. Chicken piccata- was excited to see this but the chicken also had ZERO seasoning. Tough, flavorless chicken and the sauce lacked any zest. Hopefully it was just an off day but that's $40 I regret spending since the piccata I make at home is tender and bursting with citrusy, garlicky flavor. Sadly every single place in the area seems to have slipped in quality, taste and service while prices have increased. Makes me sad.

Great Pizza-Great Service

Love Tony C's. The food is great. Love the pizzas and wine as it is a great way to close the week out. We typically sit at the bar as we love interacting with Emily the bar tender. Awesome service and awesome food. How can you go wrong!!

Worst pizza ever ! If it hadn't been for pick up I never would have excepted it! I know it's oven fired but in my opinion it BURNT ! We cut the out the burnt part off ! It was burnt on the bottom too!! Probably won't get another take out again !! If you ever get take out check the order before you leave! Update : I was offered a comp pizza to make up for the one they burnt Never got the coupon!! Just a lot of nothing Won't be going there anytime soon !!

Did not feel like an appreciated customer here. After waiting several minutes while she replied to snapchats, I knew the young woman working the window was going to ring me up incorrectly.. of course she did, but it wouldn't have been a big deal if I wasn't made to feel like a nuisance. "It's just $3" when incorrectly charged for an item. Next time, I'd try just fixing the mistake and apologizing. I didn't even want to eat there so I walked around the corner to the tables by cafe blue. I can't speak for the cleanliness or atmosphere since since I ordered to-go, apparently that's hit or miss. The food was OK. I tried the half salad and 1 slice meal With a Caesar and cheese slice. They were nothing special, but it was filling. The amount of food for $12 was a fair value, but I will find a different pizza place next time.

Price - $10-15 for a plate of noodles without any protein and veggies. So it can easily add up to make your plate an extra $5-$10 if you add anything to it. 3. Ambiance - this is a bar and restaurant setting. Great for hang outs with friends and family. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - I had their CARBONARA PASTA and CHICKEN ARROSTO. With a side of salad and Garlic bread. Everything was good and tasty. The noodles were fresh, thick, and different. However, it was super salty. Did I pick the wrong sauce perhaps or was the chef a bit heavy handed on the salt? 5. Cleanliness - Dining area was outdoors in the back on a cold day. Good thing they had a heating lamp near by. They managed their tables well. No dirty plates lingering around. Restrooms were not bad either. Small, but clean. SUMMARY It's great that they make fresh noodles, but $20+ for a plate of noodles is a bit much. Overly paying for salty food, I rather go to a chain Italian restaurant. Not worth the hype in my opinion.

As it turns out the coupon was only good during the week and it was Saturday. No big deal. I ordered a Meatball Sandwich, my friend an Italian Sandwich (after asking our excellent young waitress about it). She brought out two very tasty types of bread with olive oil for dipping. The sandwiches came with Garlic Fries. The Fries were delicious but unfortunately mine were lukewarm. I certainly could have asked for a fresh portion, but was hungry enough not to bother. That's the reason my rating wasn't 5 Star. Because the restaurant was pretty empty on this Saturday afternoon, I feel the Chef shouldn't have sent out fries that weren't piping hot. The Meatball Sandwich however was marvelous. Freshly made, tasty meatballs with sauce and cheese on their focaccia bread was a real treat. I took half home and ate the rest for dinner. All in all, I'd come back here again as the food was excellent as well as the service.

Picturesque! Cheers from Tuscany !…read more Bravo! This restaurant was well worth the drive. Trattoria felt like an escape to Tuscany. The outside and inside is a knod to Tuscany. I enjoyed my time here. Don't forget to get some gelato on your way out. The service was spectacular and the waiter was so knowledgeable about the menu . Now, let's get into what I ate. Appetizers: Bread- I'm not sure what the proper name for the bread is, but it was so good. The bread was like a warm hug. It had a welcoming taste. I can't even explain it fully. The texture was phenomenal. It was like a cornbread and a roll put together. Artichoke fritters- This dish surprised me. I didn't expect to like it so much. It was fried to perfection and flavorful. I honestly didn't need the sauce . Meatballs- The meatballs were the best I've had in my life. They were covered in a well prepared sauce. Entrée: Snapper with pesto pasta- My snapper was very flavorful. The only downfall of the snapper was the size. For the price, I expected a whole snapper. The pasta was good, but I'm not a huge fan of pasta. I also ordered brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were cooked very well. Dessert: Biscoff and almond gelato - This was a perfect ending to to a wonderful meal. The gelato flavors change often. I will definitely go again!

For most pasta dishes, I'd hit Mandola's in Austin. Save about $10 an entree and some gas money. A few weeks ago I didn't want to venture too far off the ranch. Wife and I ended up at Lisina on Saturday. Calamari to start was crisp and not chewy. Caesar salad followed and was a nice example of the dish. Lisina is also a little skimpy on offering bread refills. We finished with drinks and the panna cotta. Just over $100 for this experience. WELL, the next day I needed to take mom out for her anniversary. Dad has long passed but I always try to do something special. Sunday highlights forthcoming. This time with mom and Rooster along we started with the carpaccio. The presentation really wowed because it looks like red plate until you realize all that color is shaved tenderloin. White plate underneath! The greens, parmesan, and aioli was one of the best I've had. Mom went for the gnocchi; Rooster goes for the Mezzaluna ravioli. This is now Rooster's fave restaurant. I went back to the appetizers section and selected the crab cake. Zero complaints on these dishes. Don't forget mom's wine. Gelato and cake to finish the meal. I think I've dined here once since my 2009 review. Yup, steak pics still accounted for on Yelp. Trattoria Lisina is still going strong in Driftwood. Expect $$$$, this meal was almost $300. Good food ain't cheap folks.
