    "Meat Lovers Pizza"
    Harold B.

We got the "Meat Lovers Pizza" yesterday for dinner. It was honestly the best pizza we've had in a while. Delivery takes a long time and I've had a few minor issues with them in the past regarding delivery. This is the only reason they get 4 rather than 5 stars from me.

I've only ordered To go from here twice and each time was better than the last! Their sauce is very rich and tasteful. They are no strangers to taste and quality. I absolutely love that they put loads of sauce in their pasta and it's not dry. Very tasty! Also side note, they deliver!! Order via slice. Grub hub's prices are slightly higher than through Slice.

Saw that a new pizza spot had opened up in the King Kullen lot and decided to check them out. We tried the regular slice; the sauce was solid and the crust was nice as well. We also got their vodka slice and yum! It was larger than a normal grandma-esque slice, no complaints there. The vodka sauce was also seriously good. I'll be back soon!

Ok so went in to try the pizza at the new pizza place that opened up in the Hewlett King Kullen shopping center. Walked in and it's a very nicely decorated small place with a few tables and pizza counter. I was having a seriously hard time deciding on a slice because they all looked awesome. No legit I was standing at the counter for a good 5 minutes. At the owner's suggestion I ate a Mac and cheese with bacon slice while I waited for my pepperoni pie to be made. I ate that Mac and cheese slice too quickly to even think of taking a picture but it was sooooo good! The pepperoni pie was also really good. The pizzas ingredients tasted very fresh, came out hot and quickly, and tasted fantastic. The staff was very friendly with everyone that walked in. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

    Heart shaped pizza. Valentine's Day..

Ordered a Heart shaped pizza for Valentine's Day from Tony D's Pizzeria. Nice and crispy. Delicious and tasty! The sauce and cheese was amazing! A 10 in my book. Would happily recommend this pizzeria to anyone. The owner and staff very pleasant!

We kicked things off with the Zucchini Fritti--crispy fried zucchini strings that disappeared into marinara faster than anyone would admit. Then came an espresso martini that was absolutely flawless. Smooth, rich, perfectly balanced, and topped with three coffee beans symbolizing health, wealth, and happiness. After one sip, I was ready to believe in all three. For dinner, the veal cutlet Parmigiana over penne with marinara was pure comfort food done right. Crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Francese was incredibly juicy, swimming in a buttery lemon sauce over rigatoni that made it impossible to stop eating. Then came the special: Chicken Cacciatore with melted mozzarella, sautéed jalapeños, red peppers, and white wine sauce over spaghetti. It brought the heat--and I happily accepted the challenge. Dessert sealed the deal with a rainbow cookie cake layered with colorful sponge cake, covered in chocolate ganache, and finished with whipped cream. To top it all off, the staff surprised my mom with a sparkling candle that made the celebration even more special. Amazing food, outstanding service, and a great night with family. The only thing hotter than the Chicken Cacciatore was the argument over who got the last slice of cake. That's how you know you picked the right Italian restaurant.

The restaurant is warm, comfortable and a little more upscale without feeling stuffy. White tablecloths, great service and very reasonable prices. The service deserves a mention on its own because everyone was incredibly attentive, friendly and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. I started with an Espresso Martini, which was honestly one of the best I've had, followed by a Lychee Martini that was also excellent. For food, the Calamari con Gamberi was a standout for me. I actually prefer calamari braised like this instead of breaded, and theirs was tender and full of flavor with shrimp, cherry peppers, white beans and tomato sauce. The Chef's Table Salad with shrimp was super fresh and light. The goat cheese, pear, prosciutto, pistachios and lemon thyme dressing all worked really well together without the dressing overpowering anything. The Lobster & Crab Ravioli was excellent and that saffron cream sauce was the star. I can absolutely see why this is one of their best sellers. I also tried the Pollo alla Franca with Bell & Evans organic chicken, prosciutto, spinach, artichokes, mozzarella and Port wine mushroom sauce. Rich, flavorful and very well executed. Even though I'm normally not a big dessert person, they make all of their desserts in-house, so I had to try a few. The flourless chocolate cake, warm apple tart and Belgian chocolate mousse were all excellent, especially that mousse -- very rich with a strong Belgian chocolate flavor. This was my first time here, but definitely not my last. Great Italian food, excellent cocktails, fantastic service and a true neighborhood hidden gem. Highly recommend.

The server had an attitude the second he came over to us, it wasn't too busy just yet so unsure what his demeanor was about. He told us the specials and walked away. The entrees took a lot longer than expected. A table that came in 15 min after us got their food very fast. Once we got our entrees they were good, the food is consistently yummy here. But again our server did not come to see if we needed anything after the entrees were dropped at the table. I had the pasta with clams, it was good but lacked a flavor in the sauce. The calamari was great, crispy and flavorful. And the gnocchi bolognese was good as well, very ricotta leaning. Over all it was good but the waiter put a bad taste in one of my guests mouth which was disappointing. Overall I would give Gran paradiso another shot because they have good Italian but not rushing there due to the service.
