they have good customer service and their acrylic application is on point i had tony and jenny do this set and they killed it i normally do basic nails every time so i was nervous to do something like this and jenny did not disappoint and i was nervous going to a new salon for a full set because im picky about my acrylic shaping and thickness and i didnt have to tell them anything you can tell they are very experienced and the pedicure is good too i definitely recommend to go here for a pedicure from here on out read more

Had a nail fill and pedicure earlier this week. I splurged with both services because I had a 10% discount for my birthday. We'll, my bill was $95 and I gave $18 in cash tips. Got home and looked at receipt and saw only $5 deducted for my discount. Should have been $10, so I feel like I was deceived and their texted offer of dis ount was not honored. No one said anything in English about the charges. On top of that, my acrylic fill on my French tips let's the edges of the old acrylic show through on the nailbed. I asked the nail tech if that would still show when he was done and he gave me some broken English answer to placate me. Another disappointment... or lie? Not thrilled with this business lately. I called ahead and was told to come in, but ended up sitting there for over an hour. They moved me from seat to seat, then finally had me sit at a table only to wait another 20 minutes. The lack of communication between staff was really disappointing. I was truly hoping this would be the salon I could stick with, but I ended up leaving without getting anything done. Super disappointed with my pedicure experience here. The salon looked nice and the reviews looked good, but the actual service felt rushed and careless. I had requested a gel French tip pedicure and a manicure(which I did not get due to the poor job on the pedicure)which was EXTREMELY uneven, the shape was sloppy, and I noticed chips within a day. The tools didn't seem as clean as I'd expect, and the technician barely communicated with me the entire appointment. The whole service was extremely unprofessional from the technician to the owners. Just had a wonderful spa pedicure experience with Ty at Tony Nails. I was very impressed because good pedicures are hard to come by. He took his time and provided a great foot and leg massage. I love this place, they always do a good job with my nails and eyebrows. And they do great massages. I even fell asleep on the chair because it made me feel so relaxed. I'm glad I found them would totally recommend. At times theres a bit of wait even if you have an appointment so just be mindful of that. read more

Don't get me wrong, I do love the service of nails, however, the customer service is poor. I recently got a pedicure and told her I wanted pink and white...whole time, she is complaining about the previous white polish on my feet...saying don't do that again because I originally had white gel in my toes but I had a event to go to and didn't have time nor the funds to get my feet done, so I took some white polish and touched it up. I don't see how that made her job harder...anywho, when it was time to paint, she started with clear pink and it looked more clear then pink, so I politely asked her if I could have the pink and white like I originally asked for..she got flustered and started talking mess in her language of course. I honestly settled for the pink she did grab which still wasn't right because she kept talking mess. When it was time to pay, she damn near held my card hostage because the machine was messing up and when it finally went through, I only tipped her 5 dollars, because honestly she made my experience horrible. Shen then handed me my card and receipt and walked off with an attitude...i'd hate to say it was because of my skin color but it sure did feel that way and the only reason I didn't go off on her is because I had a shirt on that had my job's logo on it. I got powder dip. The lady who did my nails rushed, kept saying she needed to finish my nails before my daughter's were done (which were done by another tech). After reading yelp reviews, I decided to call and make an appointment with Toni who was recommended. They would not make an appointment, but told me to just come in. When I finally did come in, I waited about 20 to 25 minutes. Because apparently no one there had appointments, and they were just taking all the walkins they could. Everyone was rushing through. When I finally got seated, 'Jenny' who did my nails rushed through (because there were about five people behind me waiting to get their nails done too) and unfortunately she did a poor job. It was a simple acrylic fill without polish and without a topcoat. She failed to get the acrylic all the way to the sides of my nails as it should be, and I told her to keep the same shape which was almond and she changed it to square/oval. When I mentioned this to her, she insisted that it was almond, as if I don't know what almond shape is, and it looked nothing like the shape I came in with. So I'm not gonna sit there and argue. When she saw my face and reaction she said I can change it if you want. At this point, I had my five-year-old with me and I had waited too long for a simple fill and I was done and wanted out of there. It has been two weeks now, and I have cuticles on my pinky finger adhered to the acrylic she did because she didn't leave a separation... So I will just be returning to where I know it's good and drive all the way to The Nail Bar and Spa in Maitland to have Tony do my nails. read more

Good price and good quality. A little under staffed but its okay. The women Jenna was amazing. My eyebrows and toes look amazing.

The only thing good about this salon is Jenny. She does an excellent job with pedicures, although I think fingernails are what she does most. There are only two women that work here and the other woman is rude and arrogant. The men are rude and arrogant as well. Whenever I would schedule an appointment, initially, with a woman, then exclusively Jenny, they would look at me like I had two heads, acting like they knew nothing about it. Their chairs do a great massage, however, the place where you put your feet is not padded and is hard. It is very uncomfortable for a pedicure. There are too many other salons to have to put up with these things. read more

I used the shop for almost 2 years simply beacuse there are limited options in Deland and it is closest to my house. In retrospect, I should have stopped going there long ago. Tony is very inappropriate and makes inappropriate jokes. On one occasion he said he would follow me into the bathroom. I always give people the benefit of the doubt, and so after dismissing this comment, I thought to myself that maybe that is normal in his Vietnamese culture. Today, I respectfully expressed to a female nail technician how I wanted my nails, Tony told me that if I don't like how any of the technicians there do my nails I should not come back. Not that he needed to verbalize this. Based on the technicians behavior I had already removed my feet from the spa and was waiting to pay for the service she had already performed. I had no intention of returning. I have seen other customers of other races voice the same concerns and have their requests accomodated. Without making any allegations, it does look very suspect that after 2 years of them taking my money, and of me being a very respectful and faithful customer, that the one time I express my displeasure, instead of being facilitated, I was told not to come back. read more
