Went there for breakfast yesterday & had a breakfast burrito smothered with green chili. It was ok, pretty big but average. The gal who served us was super nice & attentive. Stopped here for lunch on the way home to Colorado Springs. Horrible!!! Had the burrito with green chili and enchiladas with red chili. Food was AWFUL, we took a couple of bites and couldn't eat the rest. The waitress mentioned we hadn't hardly touched our food and acknowledged it but still charged us! Good , homemade food , with great service. Atmosphere lacks some appeal but very reasonably priced with healthy portions. Child burger was very good. Awesome little diner in Trinidad, the food was really good. Service was slow but it's because they only had one waitress working during lunch hour. The gyros meat on the sandwich wasn't even fully heated. Usually it has a brown crust around the edges. Not here. Fries were greasy and terrible. Surprised I didn't get sick. They weren't even that busy when I stopped for pick-up. I can't see why this place would ever be busy. read more

Stopped in because this place was one of the few non-fast food establishments that was open in town between 2pm-5pm. Looked like a typical small town diner, the kitchen is open so you can see the staff handle the food...nothing fancy. Menu had a decent selection of burgers, sandwiches, and dinner platters. We ordered a side salad, 3 sandwiches (Ruben, gyros, kids burger) a chili dog, and kids spaghetti. After 25 minutes I noticed several tables received their meals, the cooks had stopped cooking, and I still had not received my side salad let alone my meal. I went to ask the server if we were going to get order and she snapped back at me saying "as you can see we're busy so it will be a little bit." Confused I explained to her that the cooks were hanging out talking and that the 7 other tables had already been served. Then without saying a word, she turned around and went to the kitchen. That's when she yelled at us from the kitchen that the "order would be out in 5 minutes." The waitress forgot to put in the order! After 10 minutes we received our food. Not one apology or sincere effort was given. I saw a man/staff member walk around to every table and ask "how was everything?" Not once did he even look in our direction. That's just insulting. Going in we knew we weren't going to a 5 Star restaurant and that we were not going to get the best service, but come on, you treat customers with a little bit of respect and if you screw up just say "sorry." Don't roll your eyes because one expects their food in a timely manner (less than 40minutes), especially when the waitress forgot the order! If you a looking for somewhere to eat don't stop here!!! The food is almost as bad a the service! You're better off stopping at Sonic. read more

Was told by some locals that this is the place for breakfast so we came to check it out. The sweet lady waiting tables made us feel right at home. The coffee was great and the food was too.... Wasn't real sure when we pulled up that they were open since there weren't a lot of cars in the lot and from past experience it's usually the ones that don't look brand new that have the best foods...... Just passing through on my way south on I-25, the Gyro (yee-row) was really good. They also have side greek salads an all time favorite of mine, it was no Detroit Greek salad but it did the trick. I would recommend this place. read more

I really dislike giving restaurants less than 3 stars because I know how it effects them but I believe this 2 star review is me being very generous. I arrived during normal lunch hour and sat at the bar and I wish I had not. Both of the cooks were molesting ALL the food with their dirty hands.. how did I know their hands were dirty? I saw them touching everything without gloves and run food off of a spatula with their fingers and then continue to touch food and even flip bread on the flat top with their hands. Totally grossed out. They obviously have no experience/knowledge in being sanitary. Finally got my gyro which was frozen stiff meat straight on the flat top with no crisp just a soggy, wet, gyro. Can't attest for the taste I wouldn't dare after seeing behind the scenes. I give Tony's an extra star because the fries were edible but unseasoned and tasteless. I have heard Tony's breakfast is better but I will not be back to see. read more

Not sure how this place got 5 stars! We just had a horrible breakfast here....1st of all I ordered sausage and they did not have any have any so I then chose bacon and asked it to be cooked crisp and when my plate came to the table the bacon was a slushie looking mass so I asked for it to be recooked and when they brought it back I looked at it and realized it is not really bacon ---it was ham! So when I questioned the waitress she said oh that is home made capicola we didn't have any bacon well if I would have wanted ham I would have ordered ham!!! the eggs were under done the White was still quite runny which I find very yukky and the potatoes were inedible they were kind of gray in color and just very off putting. they had a really weird taste so my husband and I did not eat any of the potatoes at all ....the only redeeming feature about the whole breakfast was the pancakes and those were ok... if it were possible to give it a minus 2 stars I would but since I have to rate I am giving it only one star-- under duress read more

tony's is a great place . just wish the service was faster and waitress would less yapping to eachother. and everytime I ask for fried icecream they are always out. if not available on the menu take it off. I love the chilli burgers though. just some of the staff could be a little more efficient and friendlier. I asked one girl for fried icecream and never got it. when asked where it was she barked at me that they had none. but was still charged for it. even though I never got it. wasent till I got home that I realized I paid for it. I wouldn't mind coming back . but if there out of something they should have it posted so I am not paying for something I never received ..... read more
