She had great suggestions for managing my shoulder pain and was able to fit me with a swim/gardening etc bra that is a little less structured and very comfortable, as well as a special swim prosthesis that is pinable! Five star experience here! I recently moved to Olympia from the Seattle metro area, and I used to go to an expensive boutique lingerie store there to find bras for my hard-to-fit chest. I've always been glad to find anywhere that carries my size(s), which is 34-36Gish. Bras vary so much by brand and style that ordering online can be very difficult. I made an appointment with Judy's because my one sorta-still-fit bra slowly falling apart. I do not enjoy bra shopping, but it was time. Imagine the delight when I found that Judy's had about 5x as many choices for me as that expensive Seattle boutique, and their prices are similar to (or sometimes better than) what you would find online. Customer service is great here too. My fitter, Tara - sorry if I spelled your name wrong! - did a truly fabulous job helping me find just the right size and styles. My body has been through a lot of changes due to health issues, and I appreciated her calm professionalism. So many bra fitters comment about your body in one way or another that is not relevant to the issue at hand, but she did not do that. I felt entirely comfortable as she brought an array of well-fitting bras for me to choose from. I went into Judys today to get fitted for a bra since my old one was horrible, overworn/washed, and didn't fit right. I was struggling to find bras that were both stylish and the right fit because i'm a bigger cup size and wear plus sizes (but like staying fashionable), so I was hoping they could help me out. They definitely did! Right when I walked in I was overwhelmed by the cute patterns and styles they had, and in bigger sizes too! (Although they do have all sizes really.) They also carry swimsuits and maternity wear. Cora and her associate-in-training both helped me with the fitting and were extremely professional, nonjudgmental, and welcoming. They measured me out to a 44 DDD/E and picked out bras that I absolutely love, and even taught me about how to wash them properly. The prices on the bras were extremely fair for the quality and size (anywhere from $40-60 for each) and I ended up getting four of them along with a bra wash called "Soak" which smells amazing and was $16. You honestly cannot go wrong with this business at all, and if you're fed up with your old bra/lingerie like I was, give these ladies a visit and avoid the hassle of the ill-fitting mall and outrageous online prices! read more

I have struggled to shop for bras for years. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get into Judy's but I wish I went in sooner! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, helping me every step of the way while also respecting what I already knew about my body. Not only do they have fabulous selection for larger busted women but also provide incredible service simultaneously. For years I have drove to Nordstrom to buy bras because I thought all the retail stores in Olympia didn't carry my size, but now that I've found Judy's, I can shop locally. I've been here a few times and they did alright but this past trip really has me annoyed. During my appointment, I told the woman helping me that I had a baby (not nursing) and that I've gained weight and my bras aren't fitting right anymore. She measured me and looked up the size I had bought previously and brought me 3 bras in the old size. I tried them on and they fit okay. She told me that the flipping up in the band and the lack of gore tack was because of my body, not the size and that the bra would stretch out. I was there, in total, for probably 30 minutes. That's including check in and out. Now that I've actually been wearing them, these bras are the entirely WRONG SIZE. I was in the process of moving when I bought them, so I packed them away and wore my crappy old bras to sweat and move in. That process took more than seven days, so now I can't return these expensive, pointless garments. I knew in the moment that the idea that I had gained weight, been pregnant AND kept the same bra size was kinda absurd but I trusted the sales woman who seemed so sure. In actuality, she was lazy and rushed the appointment. I won't be back. I can measure myself and buy online. read more

Judy's Intimate Apparel has an excellent selection of bras for all sizes. After searching many stores, I finally found a nursing bra and sports bra there. They're friendly and pro-breastfeeding which is great! I'll probably schedule an appointment the next time I need to go there, though. I didn't receive much help during my last two visits because they were busy with customers who had made appointments. Definitely check it out if you're a nursing momma and/or if you need a new, high quality bra! read more

These ladies are amazing. It doesn't matter what size, large or small, they are so helpful! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I had thought they were expensive, until I got online to see prices - basically the same, especially if you factor in shipping. If you are nursing or expecting, they have the best selection of nursing bras in town, and have a ton of other very helpful maternity stuff, like shields, swaddling clothes, etc. They do a lot with mastectomy patients as well. They also have swim suits and delicate fabric cleaners. They also have a chair for partners to sit and wait. :) read more

They just took my measurements, got me some bras to try and when those were off, just got me some more. Came in with no appointment and was sized by a wonderful lady named Cora. Came in a week later to buy a few more bras. I did not ask for help as I knew my size and wanted to pickup just two and pay. I was told by two different ladies that worked there that I could not be here because I didn't have an appointment. I told them I had already been sized by Cora and just wanted to buy more products and go. Again I was told because I did not have an appointment I need to come back another time. Coming here to get properly fitted almost feels like a luxury. It is so nice, as a plus sized female, to find a large selection of bras that properly fit. The last time I went there, the ladies even walked my cranky baby around the store so I could choose my next purchase. I was struggling to find Maternity bras in my current larger (and somewhat rare) size, 32 I. I was referred to Judy's by Around the Circle Midwifery and I am THRILLED to know of them now! They carry a large selection of bras in a wide range of sizes. You can make an appointment for a fitting (a nice woman will measure you, in the dressing room, with your clothes on or in your bra. My dress was thin enough that I didn't need to remove anything. The measuring is fast and painless, anyway.) She brought me several choices in my size. I found the size and brands that seemed to work best for me. I got 2 bras for $108 (including tax. Online I was seeing bras for $70+ each.) The gals were helpful, informative, and pleasant to interact with. They also carry Breast pumps, breast pump accessories, as well as Baby Legs, and other maternity/baby related products. (Oh, I noticed they have swimsuits in all different sizes and styles. I will definitely be buying my suit from Judy's this coming summer.) The result is FABULOUS. My girls are supported! My profile looks 10 times better and my breasts don't ache at the end of the day. My back, shoulders, and chest feel so much better. I wish I'd found Judy's a few months ago when I thought the level of breast pain I was experiencing was just a part of pregnancy. *They also carry bras/supplies for women who have undergone a mastectomy and I overheard that some products are covered by insurance. read more

Bra fitting was very thorough and bras were fine. I also bought an expensive ($16-18) bottle of their "rinse." But when I asked if I could get a sample to take on an upcoming long international trip, I was told that they will only give 1 sample per purchase because they cost 10 cents a piece. I made 3 separate purchases totaling over $100, yet they wouldn't give me one 10 cent sample packet. However, she "helpfully" suggested I pour some from my large bottle into a travel container, which completely misses the point. It's pretty short-sighted to lose a potentially long-term customer over 10 cents. read more

Made a special trip to Olympia today just to buy a new sports bra. I have known about the Tacoma store for years and work a block away from it but the three times I have been there the associates were unfriendly and borderline condescending. As such I have been driving to Portland to buy cute bras that will accommodate my 38H's. Then about six months ago I found out that there was a Judy's in Olympia, that carries fun and cute looking full figure bras, and several people said that the associates there are absolutely wonderful. So here I am six weeks post breast reduction surgery and decided it was finally the perfect opportunity to get resized properly and replace my Panache sports bra. OMG, I was absolutely amazed at the selection of a Panache sports bras they had! Cora was amazing, she found one in my new size (38DD/E) and offered to order another one for me in a color they were out of stock in! She is awesome, friendly and I'm bringing a couple full figured, friends from the gym with me next time! Prices are very reasonable, the selection is excellent, and staff is knowledgable! Cora definitely knows what she is doing and even though I didn't have an appointment she and her associate made me feel very welcome. * As of February 8, 2016 - Cora is no longer there but the gal who helped me today was excellent - I will miss Cora! read more

Went in for an appointment today and was late due to a train on the tracks in the town where I live. The lady at the desk was doing paperwork and said she would be with me. A few minutes went by and I started looking around the store. Another customer came in and asked about a return and she help her right away without so much as a word to me. I went to the counter to see if it would be better to reschedule and she would not even acknowledge my presence. I will never return to that store with customer service like that and the store smells like mildew. Yuck! read more

This makes me sad to write this. I have been a faithful customer since June 2003. I never had a problem and enjoyed the gals that worked there for years. 2013 I went in and got a swimsuit that fit well on my upper half of my body and the bottom part did not fit well. But I needed a suit so I wear shorts over the swimsuit. I still continue going there. Jan 2016. I started working with these two new gals which is hard to do. We have been working on trying to get a bra that will fit. They have had to special order bra's in to try and we have done fittings.a couple weeks ago they had another bra come in and there was 3 gals there, 2 new ones I made it clear I wanted only the gals that I've been working with. that day the one did work with me.. we had to order other sizes to try. this morning I got a call letting me know that two bra's came in to try. I sat up an appointment and made sure it was going to be with one of the two gals I have been working with I was assured I would be with them. When I got there only one of the two gals were there that I have been working with and two others. I told them who I was and the people I had the appointment with, I was told ok then I was told to come back. I said my appoint is with the other gal she popped up said I will be there in a min. I felt like I was being bullied. I was put in one bra never tired the other to make sure which one would be better.. The person I was suppose to be with came in said it looks ok and checked me out, I only got the one I don't really feel that comfortable in it. Its really sad that the customers don't matter. Its all about money and sales.If I wouldn't of had a store credit from a previous return I would not of bought the bra there. Do to lack of respect for customers. I will need to find a.new place. read more
