First time visiting. The cafe was so welcoming. I love the aesthetic - very hippy and lots of crystals. LGBTQ+ Friendly. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the garden biscuit sandwich - I loved the homemade biscuit, great texture. All of the ingredients complimented each other. I had the vanilla rainbow cold brew float, and it was delicious. I got a cherry blossom matcha to go - the cherry flavor complimented the matcha so nicely. The service was amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful! Can't wait to return!

I just popped in here while grabbing chocolate from across the street and I'm so happy I did. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, I ordered the cherry blossom matcha and it was perfectly made with creamy matcha married with maraschino cherry flavor. Absolutely fantastic combo!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place has such a great vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Crystals and coffee go very well together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu had so many great choices, making my selection difficult. I ended up going with the iced coffee made with coffee ice cubes. What a treat! Next time, I'm going to try the lavender latte.

After the Manitou Incline, wanted to grab coffee before heading back home. While riding the shuttle bus back to the parking lot, Yelp search directed us to this location. There are street parking at the front but also have plenty around the corner. This portion of the street is filled with many cute shops and restaurants. Once inside the restaurant, we ran into several hikers we met on the Barr trail. Very unique food and coffee menu, all beans roasted on site. They use reusable mugs and cups. We did ask for to go cups but felt guilty for not bringing my own cups. It's very laid back place to enjoy drinks and have light breakfast while catching up with friends. Loved the idea of sticky to cover over the vent hole instead of bulky plastic insert you get at other place. They also carry various gift items. Definitely deserves a repeat visit.

Nice coffee shop with fast friendly service. I was happy to discover they were still offering their vegan restaurant week specials. I got a chorizo biscuit sandwich and a coffee with oatmilk. The biscuit was flaky and delicious and the vegan cheese and green chili sauce were really good. Would definitely come back again.

Tourist Review: The coziest spot for a coffee in Old Colorado City! Nothing beats sitting in the window of a cozy cafe during the first snowfall of the year. I love how spacious it is inside with a variety of tables and couches to both work and lounge. The tall ceiling and plants galore give off the best vibes. I enjoyed my honey cinnamon latte and thought it was so cool that they use all kinds of different mugs... such a cute characteristic!

Pretty good! It's in the downtown area with all the touristy stuff. The best part is there's online ordering - trying to get coffee on a Sunday morning in CO Springs kinda sucks due to waits. So yay ordering in advance! I got a honey lavender latte. It was pretty good! I wanted more lavender flavor. But I did like it. Pricier than some other coffee shops but that's to be expected in the touristy area. They sell candles with the scents of their main lattes - they smell great. There's water inside so great for folks walking in the hot sun

Clean, cozy, and delicious food/drinks. A good place to have coffee/tea with friends or colleagues. The staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast burrito is really tasty. Size inclusive chairs available and some access to outlets if you want to get work done on a device. Wi-Fi is stable. I would come back.

You don't have to be staying at the MX to go to BLK MGK -- it's perfectly acceptable to drop in off the street, and the place does have external signage to make that clear. FOOD: We each had a drink and a breakfast nibble. My hot chai was not too sweet and nicely spicy. My wife enjoyed her cold brew drink. The food was also good -- my wife's yogurt parfait was very enjoyable, and my quite large breakfast burrito was surprisingly good. I'm not sure how they manage to make things feel like fresh-made (certainly better than Starbucks zapping something), but they did a fine job at it. SERVICE: The barista was friendly and patient, and found us at the far end of the lobby to serve our food when ready. AMBIANCE: The MX lobby is both huge and stylish and comfortable, and whether your tastes run to bottomless comfy chairs or seats around a table you can find it. All a nice place to eat and drink. NET-NET: Worth visiting (by foot) even if you are not staying at the MX. I'd definitely go back again.

Drinks are going to be drinking, Not that I've gotten that out of the way... I've always heard such great things about Bird Tree Cafe. And I hadn't gone until yesterday! Figured I'd go before the farmers market across the street in Acacia Park. I got the bookworm latte and it was so good. I was worried it would be too sweet (it was a little sweet), but the brown sugar cinnamon syrup they make really balanced it out. It was so good. It was creamy, dreamy, and the caramel was decadent. I didn't get any food--just the coffee unfortunately, but I do plan on coming back! $7.25 (I think) for a latte is a bit pricey, but the drink is really good. So if you're gonna spend a bit extra, go there for a coffee instead of Starbucks. Service was quick for a long line and the hanging plants and lights made for such a great vibe.
