Locals alert! A lot of locals go here. When we arrived, there were very few people in the restaurant. It was actually kind of nice. They were completely decorated for Easter including an Easter tree. They have a really good menu with a lot of variety. We had country fried steak and the bourbon glazed salmon. Both were delicious. What was amazing is that the owner was doing everything herself this night. Everything from busboy to cashier to dishes to cooking. Our food was prepared well and efficiently because we didn't even feel like we were waiting.Everyone is so friendly here and we had a few great conversations with some really nice locals. read more

Looked this up on "near me" when at the Apple Festival and decided to get away from the crowds and have a nice sandwich. When we arrived there were 2 tables with people seated. The lady working said to have a seat and she would be right with us. We sat down and she came by our table and let us know that she was alone ,so it may not be fast. When she said she was alone, she meant alone. She was the hostess, waitress, cook, dishwasher, cashier and busboy. She was amazing!! Food was excellent!! We had club sandwiches, fried chicken sandwich both with fries and a great Chef salad !! Tea and water kept refilled as well as great conversation. Definitely a place to go for great food and amazing service. read more

I USED to love this place...and after returning recently, I still do! My college roommate and I ordered the Quiche du Jour and just as I remember, it was excellent. Tender with a nice crust and the accompanying fruits on the plate were fresh and tasty/ I've never had bad service at Tooley's and today continued that mode. Fun, energetic server with a wonderful sense of humor. The restaurant is ALWAYS busy, it's always clean, the noise level is always subdued. All in all, Tooley's is a great spot with an excellent menu with a wide variety of offerings. And just a wee suggestion: when you're at Talbot's in the same shopping center, Tooley's is a perfect spot to grab lunch after a shop til you drop moment. Or just stop in for one of their scrumptious desserts and a cup of tea or coffee. read more

A good place to get southern home cooked food. I have to remember to get there before 6 PM because many of the dinner entrees are already gone by then. The owner seems to be the only person around for the dinner shift, so be patient as it takes a bit for the food to arrive. Servings are very generous. read more

Consistency. I've been coming here for years, lunch and supper, and never been disappointed. My tuna melt was exceptional, and the fries were just right: hot and crunchy. The cheerful staff fixes everything to order, and serves it up with a smile. A large selection of lunch offerings, and the supper plates are hearty and filling. Do your self a flavor and fill your stomach with their meatloaf! The homemade desserts tempt me every time I go. There are indoor tables, a service counter, and two sidewalk tables. The food is great, but the place does need a makeover, especially the tablecloths. read more

Wonderful food!! We were able to order takeout for our family for a Mother's Day picnic. The food was was hot and delicious (didn't even wait to take a picture before diving in). We went on a monday afternoon and were the only table except an elderly couple who had already gotten their food. It took more than 20 minutes to get a burger, a piece of ready-made quiche, a kids pb&j, and a kids grilled cheese. The veggie quiche was terrible. Overpowering nutmeg, no other seasoning, and the texture was way off. My husband said his burger was fine. The kids sandwiches looked fine. But for the terrible quiche special of the day and the terribly slow service, 3 stars. Won't go there again for sure. read more

First time eating here and will definitely go back. Had the turkey sandwich and it was very good. Tomato was nice and ripe. Only complaint I have is that I asked for sourdough bread but received wheat instead but it was still very good and not worth complaining on. read more

Food is good. Fast service , but the place needs a facelift ! 70's paneling, 80's wallpaper, rug is a little gross, & the chairs are something you sit in at a banquet hall. With a little sprucing up, the cafe would be so cute ! It shows its age, sorry. Would still recommend the food, and might be nice to be open on Saturday . All in all, 4 's. read more

Quiche and Salad. Quiche was bread with a few pieces of ham and cheese mixed in dough. Salad was a little chopped salad with a few small slices of onion and tomato. Iced tea was great! What happened? i ive right down the street from Tooleys so we gave it a try and I was blown away with how amazing the food was. Last night we had been mushroom soup fish and chips and Reuben sandwich and except for putting brown mustard on the Reuben sandwich it was delicious but the brown mustard can always be substituted for actually any sauce that they serve. They have seven options that are vegetarian and as well as sauces being substituted almost any meat product can be substituted for their veggie burger which is a nice twist if you would like a light meal or happen to be a vegetarian. The best part was including tab our mail was under $20 and with the exception of the shrimp fettuccine Which is $10.95 every single item on the menu is under $10. can not express how fantastic this family owned restaurant is. My husband and I have eaten dinner here 4 nights in a row and he even snuck in without me for takeout lunch... How dare he haha. We have met the owner Kim and her kids who are all delightful. He wanted a philly sub for dinner but was on the lunch special so she kindly said she would put one aside for him to eat tonight. And true to her word they were completely sold out of the philly cheese steak except for the one saved for my husband! Such a kind gesture and I love that the owners and staff actually care I and take the time to ask then listen about how my day was. I had also learned that the soup of the day ( which I have tried a new delicious one every time) I not planned or pre made. It is just very simply whatever she is in the mood to cook. There is a much older crowd there at most times but even other customers are kind and inviting. read more

Yummy food tucked away in a corner in Laurel Park between Hendersonville and Brevard! Lots of great sandwiches and specials for lunch and dinner. Lunch menu has great vegetarian options too.
