Stoked to have this place so close to home! We are working our way through the menu and are yet to be disappointed. Definitely get the shrimp & grits or short rib "meatloaf." The corn soufflé is worth the wait, as described, and the smoked trout dip is a perfect start to the meal. Service is always friendly and the restaurant itself has a super cute interior.

This place is amazing! We forgot to make a reservation and ended up having to wait 90 mins to be seated but it was a busy Friday night. The hostess was a red headed girl and she was very sweet. We laughed together for a little bit over the fact that I forgot to make a reservation! I needed that kindness :) We hung out outside and had a few drinks. The drinks were strong and the bartender was a gem. I forgot her name but the woman with the black hair. I got the pimento cheese burger and my husband got the fried chicken dinner with watermelon. For dessert we got the banana crème brûlée, that was incredible. I loved my burger. It was huge so I took half to go.

We wouldn't typically leave the Asheville area at dinner time but were excited to give Root and Bone a try for our anniversary and to eat with real utensils and plates. (Asheville-area restaurants were closed following Helene destruction.) The reception was warm and welcoming and the dining room brightly lit and nicely decorated. Our server Jes was very knowledgeable, explaining every dish and checking in at just the right times. The wine list is short but offers something for everyone. Our appetizers were amazing! The beet tartare and souther falafel were very tasty and a nice combination. For entrees one of us enjoyed the short rib meatloaf. I was looking forward to the grilled ribeye, however, after ordering medium well, if first came out as rare then after the kitchen's second try it arrived as medium rare just as my dinner companion was finishing their meal. I took most of the ribeye home and grilled it to the perfect temperature the next day and found it very juicy and tender. We finished with the brownie ala mode that was just as rich and creamy (and tasty) as it looked. We enjoyed our dinner and expect to return again with friends. I would give five stars had an actually been able to enjoy my entree during the meal.

Amazing NEW place in Horse Shoe! Service is incredible and all staff go the extra mile. Servers are top shelf!!!! Loved the beef brisket meatloaf! Incredible atmosphere...they did a great renovation to the old building! A bit pricey but it really is 5 star quality! We eat out a lot and this is the Best place around Henderson county! Did I mention they serve the on fine China!

Burger with pimento cheese and fried egg. Pickled relishes and an optional side salad.

I heard they had a separate area for lunches. Anyone know about that?

There are two main areas for dining. One reminds me of a glassed-in porch. The other is by the bar. My husband and I have only been there for lunch. We have been seated on the glassed-in porch. It is great setting, and of course the food is… Read more

For Saturday (July 29, 2022) at 5:30 for dinner followed by the entertainment at 6. I did receive a call from Renzo's, but I missed the call and they didn't leave a message. Really? I even said on my messages that I understand if they were short staffed, but please let me know ASAP if you can or can't accommodate us. The last call I made was around 6 pm on Friday night (July 28, 2022. Someone did answer this time and told me he would check my reservation and call be back within a few minutes and let me know if they had availability. Well, that never happened. What business or establishment, especially restaurants, never return calls to confirm a reservation and leave a message. It's obvious that don't need or want more business. We have never been to Renzo's or The Speak Easy before. And we've lived here for almost 26 years. So we thought we'd enjoy giving this a try. The reviews are really good for this restaurant. But not for me. It's their loss for not responding to a potential gain of atleast a couple of hundred dollars that could have been made if we had gotten a return call. Get it together Renzo's. Hopefully, for your sake this was rare instance that unfortunately you lost out this time. But it only takes one bad review for someone to think twice about visiting your establishment. I enjoy supporting our local businesses. And don't like giving bad reviews. But had to post this because it was uncalled for. I do want to say I had missed calls from the number of Renzo's. But why wouldn't you just leave a message as to wether you could or could not accommodate our reservation? Go figure

Our water and drinks were empty multiple times. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming and extremely overpriced, especially for Hendersonville. I ordered the banh mi and wouldn't recommend it. The small sandwich was overwhelmed with mayo and lacked the traditional Vietnamese flavors I was expecting. To make matters worse, it was $18 and didn't even come with a side which felt unreasonable. For that price, I would much rather dine at Postero across the street. The restaurant asked if we were celebrating anything, and we mentioned a major accomplishment for our friend. While the waitress acknowledged it several times which was kind it was disappointing to learn that there was no complimentary dessert or gesture. At that point, repeatedly bringing it up felt unnecessary. Given the high reviews, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning.

Never been so happy to be "hustled" in my life! First of…read moreall, I have to thank my daughter Lauren for turning me on to this place! She RAVED about it a few weeks ago and loved it so much she did a Google review on it! I have to say she was "DEAD ON" with her review! ( Go look at Google Reviews if you want to read it). As I am a native New Orleanian it's hard to impress me when it comes to food in general. I am extremely particular about most food I eat, and chicken wings are no exception. Too many people think that when you're from New Orleans everything you eat has to be loaded with cayenne pepper or salt. (They're completely wrong by the way, but that's a story for another day)... Anyway, even with Lauren's recommendation of the place I wasn't expecting a whole lot. At best I thought that they might have some flavorful chicken; I was also hoping that it wouldn't be dry. In short, this place blew me away! They have taken great care to create sauces that tease and delight your pallet, from slightly sweet blends, to burn the lips off your body (if you like that sort of thing), ! Seriously, there is something for EVERYONE here! I had a couple of different types of wings. I love sauces, but I'm a big fan of dry rubs as well. The lemon pepper here is better than any. I've tasted anywhere! I also had the Poppin Cherry wings, which if I'm gonna be honest, I thought it might've been way too sweet for my pallet, but surprise! They would just right, sweet with a nice kick at the end! I also had the Jammin jerk which reminded me of the Caribbean. The Peach knockout wings fooled me, because although they started off tasting somewhat sweet, but as soon as you got a good bite the heat hit you back of your throat! All in all, I think I tried six different sauces and one dry rub. None of them disappointed as evidenced by the pictures below. In addition, they have to be some of the sweetest people above that since I've been here in North Carolina. The host is wonderful, and she even gave us some advice on other places to try while we're here. I also got a chance to meet the chef, and it's clear that he loves what he does as evidenced by the way his food tastes and the way he talks about it. I love me some people that love what they do, and this young man does! As we speak, I'm on my way back to Hustle to get hustled again! Don't miss out on the spot, especially for you locals! Oh, I almost You be doing yourself a grave disservice if you don't go, try it!

The first thing I noticed was that you order at the register and then to the end of that counter you have the drink station and the condiments and all that other good stuff. The menu had a small but good variety of options. There were shareables, tenders, smash burgers, chicken wraps/sandwiches, and wings. I decided to go with the wrap and got the Asian chicken wrap. My mom and I sat down and the food was out in 10 minutes. My wrap was warm and pretty flavorful I would say. The chicken was grilled in a sweet sauce that kind of tasted like teriyaki, and it came with lettuce and tomato in it. As my side I decided to give the Mac and Cheese a try. I would say that the mac and cheese wasn't too impressive but it also did surprise me because it wasnt like your average bright yellow mac and cheese. So I would definitely try out another side when I get to come back here. Overall I enjoyed my visit at hustle wings. The service was good, the food was good. If you're in the area and want to try something new give this place a try.
