But right up there at the top of my list, is the way I am treated at this office. Everybody is friendly, kind and patient. All those things you look for in a dentist office. I had an appointment to get my permanent crown and then the pandemic hit. Everybody closed down. So of course my appointment was canceled. Once they re-opened, I felt that I should wait until the people who had more pressing issues were seen since my crown was doing just fine. Cut to a little over a year later... my temporary crown is still hanging on! If that isn't a testament to good work, I don't know what is!!!! I was waiting for the little crown that could to put up a fight when it was being taken out.. Plink!! Popped right out! (thank God it didn't happen when I was eating! Lol) I now have my lovely new tooth and I am good to go until June when we rescue my front tooth! Thanks for the great service again Welch Dentistry!!! Update: it is now July 2026. I am still going to Welch dentistry. I went for a couple years without insurance and things are happening. I broke off a chunk of my molar a week before vacation. I called them up at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and they got me in at 8 AM on Thursday morning. I requested to have the work done when I got back from vacation so he did a temporary fix to get me by. Today I had my crown done. He told me I might need a root canal, but we wouldn't know until we got there. But they did send in a pre-authorization to my insurance to see how much I would end up paying so there was no surprise. The only surprise was, he said I did not need the root canal which made me super happy. So don't think for one minute they just bill you for stuff you don't need. A lot of damage has happened in two years unfortunately so I will be going there probably once every other month until the end of the year. But that's OK. I'm glad I have the insurance again and I'm able to go back to them because I'd rather go nowhere than not go to them. Once you find a dentist, you trust, you stay there. I completely trust these people.. I trust them to do the work and do the work right, I also trust that they will not do unnecessary work just to bill me. I have never had a problem with any of their work. Quite honestly, I think that sometimes people may not listen to instruction, and that is why they lose crowns or fillings or things like that. I was told not to go crazy with my water pick, and not to eat crunchy or sticky food with my crown right now. She also said do not avoid it either or I can make the tissue get inflamed. They give you instructions and you need to listen and follow them. Thank you for another great visit.!!!!

I was parking the car and at 1:01pm I get a call asking if I'm still coming. However, on multiple visits I've waited in the lobby 15 minutes past the appointment time to be taken in. We do our regular cleanings here and have always had great experiences with the hygienists and dental assistants. Everyone including the front desk makes you feel welcoming and comfortable throughout your visit.

My husband came here for dental work, and the crown that was placed was done incorrectly, causing him significant pain and discomfort. When he expressed his concern, the office manager actually yelled at him instead of helping resolve the issue. Now, he has a severely cracked and infected tooth that needs to be extracted -- a serious situation -- and this office refused to see him the morning of his appointment that was already made and confirmed by the office. The office manager clearly retaliated and this is something Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners cares about. Also the oral surgeon was willing to take him, the dentist, Donna, still denied him care rather than doing the right thing and referring him properly while he was in severe pain with an infection. No patient should be treated this way, especially when they're in pain and need urgent care. This is not how a professional dental office should operate. I hope this helps others avoid the same experience. A complaint had been reported with the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners (NSBDE). Do better Donna. Be professional and ethical when someone needs urgent care, you are legally required to so.

In October 2024, I was pressured into getting two crowns on my lower back teeth--even though I had no pain or prior issues. They pushed their in-office crown option very aggressively, even offering a discount. Don't fall for it! It won't be worth it! The staff was insistent, and I trusted their guidance. That was a mistake. Months later, I'm still experiencing problems. I went back over 5x for adjustments and they still feel awful. The crowns were poorly shaped, don't fit properly, and don't align with my upper teeth. They look and feel unnatural--flared, too wide, and not shaped like actual teeth. Because of this, I still can't chew on my right side. To make matters worse, during the placement of the crowns, the doctor cut the inside of my mouth badly. Not only was there no apology, but the injury took two full months to heal. The administrative staff is kind, but unfortunately, the quality of dental work is not trustworthy. These crowns are under warranty, but I don't feel safe letting them do any more work on my mouth. I'm in the process of getting them redone by true professionals. Do not get in-office crowns here or anywhere. They aren't worth it! Don't do it. Don't do it! I wouldn't wish this painful and expensive experience on anyone.

The staff are so nice and they make your visit so personalized and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, you will feel relaxed. The dentist Dr. Duff is so caring and helpful and will give you the treatments you need. The dental hygienists are so nice and do an amazing job.
