Today I received my third if not fourth crown at this office. There's a reason I keep coming back. First and foremost, I would like to keep all my teeth! But right up there at the top of my list, is the way I am treated at this office. Everybody is friendly, kind and patient. All those things you look for in a dentist office. I had an appointment to get my permanent crown and then the pandemic hit. Everybody closed down. So of course my appointment was canceled. Once they re-opened, I felt that I should wait until the people who had more pressing issues were seen since my crown was doing just fine. Cut to a little over a year later... my temporary crown is still hanging on! If that isn't a testament to good work, I don't know what is!!!! I was waiting for the little crown that could to put up a fight when it was being taken out.. Plink!! Popped right out! (thank God it didn't happen when I was eating! Lol) I now have my lovely new tooth and I am good to go until June when we rescue my front tooth! Thanks for the great service again Welch Dentistry!!! Update: it is now July 2026. I am still going to Welch dentistry. I went for a couple years without insurance and things are happening. I broke off a chunk of my molar a week before vacation. I called them up at 3:30 on a Wednesday afternoon and they got me in at 8 AM on Thursday morning. I requested to have the work done when I got back from vacation so he did a temporary fix to get me by. Today I had my crown done. He told me I might need a root canal, but we wouldn't know until we got there. But they did send in a pre-authorization to my insurance to see how much I would end up paying so there was no surprise. The only surprise was, he said I did not need the root canal which made me super happy. So don't think for one minute they just bill you for stuff you don't need. A lot of damage has happened in two years unfortunately so I will be going there probably once every other month until the end of the year. But that's OK. I'm glad I have the insurance again and I'm able to go back to them because I'd rather go nowhere than not go to them. Once you find a dentist, you trust, you stay there. I completely trust these people.. I trust them to do the work and do the work right, I also trust that they will not do unnecessary work just to bill me. I have never had a problem with any of their work. Quite honestly, I think that sometimes people may not listen to instruction, and that is why they lose crowns or fillings or things like that. I was told not to go crazy with my water pick, and not to eat crunchy or sticky food with my crown right now. She also said do not avoid it either or I can make the tissue get inflamed. He was fast and gentle....no pulling tugging ,pounding!!! I couldn't believe it was done! So much so he laughed and showed me my tooth!!!! Beware of Welch Dentistry. I had been going there for a few years for regular dental cleanings. During that time, the dental hygienists were constantly turning over. I went through four hygienists in about three to four years. My last hygienist, Yolanda, seemed trained to upsell services. I had never had any issues at this office until she started recommending deep cleanings and additional products that had never been suggested before. I thought it was weird, but I trusted the office and went along with what was recommended. I take my oral health very seriously. I ended up paying nearly $300 out-of-pocket with insurance for a deep cleaning. Four months later, I returned for my regular cleaning (I normally go every four months). I was then billed for an outstanding balance. When I called the office for an explanation, the hygienist called me back and said that although cleanings are routine after a deep cleaning, they had to charge more for "follow-up periodontal care." Mind you she did NOTHING different from my usual cleaning. When I pressed for a valid reason, she could only say it was "protocol" and that I had bone loss!! A hygienist is not a doctor, so I emailed the office directly to Dr. Jon asking for answers and an explanation of this alleged bone loss. I received no acknowledgment that my email had even been received. After a week with no response, I called the office and was connected to the office manager, Brittany. She was unclear about what had happened and later sent me a email simply stating two words "bone loss." I asked for an explanation but she never responded. Concerned, I went to a different dentist for a second opinion. They confirmed I had NO bone loss and was baffled that I had even been recommended a deep cleaning. I had never had any dental issues before Yolanda became my hygienist, and it became clear that Welch Dentistry had performed an unnecessary procedure. What's more disturbing is that as a loyal patient of many years, I reached out directly to the doctor with very valid concerns, only to be completely ignored. If I truly had bone loss, wouldn't the doctor have mentioned it to me during my checkups ? In over four years, Dr. Jon had never once said I had any serious issues with my teeth. It has now been almost a year and a half since I emailed Dr. Jon, and I still have not received any response from the office or the doctor. It's clear this office is more interested in making money than in patient care. When problems arise, they simply ignore you -- all while continuing to send bills. If you receive a diagnosis from this dentistry, get a second opinion. My dental health has been much better since switching dentists. Interestingly, in the last two years with my new dentist, I've only needed routine cleanings -- nothing else -- despite Welch Dentistry claiming I have bone loss. Shame on this rude office. Made me do unneeded X-rays , then came up with a crack in one of old bridges and wanted astronomical $ to fix something that was fine and didn't hurt or even was a real issue ! Come on ! Then the guy went mental when I left a message I wasn't going to use them. And charges my Insurance $250 for a consultation ! And sent giant unusable X-rays to my phone, when I asked to see the crack and justify this multiple crown bridge replacement that I'm sure the price would go up after he got into a old bridge that was fine ! Then all he did was hammer me to take more X-rays when I highly reactive to them and had recent ones that were better than the battery they took ! I was referred to Welch Dentistry by a personal training client of mine. I was due for a cleaning and looking for a dentist closer to home. I originally made an appointment about three weeks prior, but they had some difficulty verifying my insurance. Once that was sorted out, they got me in a week later -- totally fine and understandable. When I arrived, the receptionist greeted me kindly and checked me in. I explained that I only wanted bitewing X-rays done, as my previous dentist had completed those in May 2024. I also noted that my full-mouth X-rays had already been done in May 2023, and I confirmed with my prior provider that I was not due for another full set. Unless there's a specific dental condition or concern, full-mouth X-rays typically only need to be done every three to five years -- and my dental history doesn't warrant early repetition. I explained that I try to limit unnecessary X-ray exposure because I've had breast implant removal surgery, I'm actively trying to get pregnant, and I've taken the time to educate myself about the risks of cumulative exposure. I'm not anti-X-ray -- just intentional about when they're medically necessary. The receptionist was respectful and understanding. However, the woman next to her (not sure if she was another front desk staff or an assistant) immediately rolled her eyes and said I "had" to get the full set since I was a new patient. I asked if they could request my recent X-rays from my previous dentist instead. The receptionist said she'd be happy to call them and was able to get them sent over. She told me the dentist might still want full X-rays, but she'd check. That's when the dental assistant came out and told me that even though insurance doesn't require it, they were still going to do the full set because I was new. I explained that it wasn't about insurance -- it was a personal health decision. She brushed it off and said they'd still need to do them. Eventually, the receptionist came back and said the dentist agreed to proceed with just bitewings. I appreciated that. But once the dental assistant brought me to the back, things got really uncomfortable. She made snarky, passive-aggressive comments like, "So where did you go to radiology school?" and "You must not have granite countertops at home." At one point, she asked how I reheated my food -- then made a comment about microwaves and radiation. I tried to stay calm and polite, but I felt really uncomfortable. I shouldn't have to defend or explain my personal health decisions in that kind of tone. The dentist himself was kind, respectful, and didn't once bring up the X-rays. He even helped buff out a stain on my front tooth and answered a few questions I had. Totally professional. Then the hygienist came in to assess gum health. I told her I had the MTHFR gene mutation, was on HCG, and had just started methylated B vitamins after a long deficiency -- and asked if systemic inflammation could affect my gums. She sort of shrugged and said, "Maybe. I wouldn't know without X-rays." Then she proceeded with the gum measurements and told me I had acute inflammation, but they couldn't do a regular cleaning -- I'd need a deeper, laser-based one that had to be approved by insurance. I agreed and said that was fine. So -- overall, I left feeling deeply uncomfortable. The receptionist and the dentist were the only bright spots in the visit. The dental assistant and the hygienist made me feel judged, condescended to, and honestly a little unsafe -- especially since they were going to be working inside my mouth. I wasn't being difficult. I was kind, asked fair questions, and simply advocated for my health and personal boundaries. What's more, after doing more research, I found that yes, your gums can reflect systemic inflammation -- especially if you're dealing with methylation issues or hormone therapies like HCG. I was right to ask those questions. I do not recommend Welch Dentistry if you're someone who values being involved in your own health decisions or prefers a provider who welcomes informed discussion instead of dismissing it. She paid and had the crown done. 8 months later crown came off. She went back to have it cemented back and now suddenly she owed another $937 ! Two things: You don't tell a patient you will run the drill through her lip, regardless of the circumstances. You are telling me I "may" need a root canal after you touched a tooth that wasn't hurting or having issues to begin with? And why was I not forewarned of this possibility prior to the procedure? You had the fancy x-rays from all your fancy medical equipment. Disclaimer - More (pricier and invasive) medical procedure(s) may be required as a result of the procedure(s) performed by the dentists at Welch Dentistry. I could have been told that, and at least then - I'd be given the option to weigh my own risks. Where was the due diligence in any of this? Where were the basic bedside manners? I felt so uncomfortable for the remainder of that session. Side Note - I go to the dentist regularly every 6 months. I have had so many bad experiences with most of my dentists in the past and to be honest the last dentist appointment I had was about 5 years ago. I decided to finally make an appointment here at Welch Dentistry since their ratings on Yelp is 5 stars and they're very close to my house. From the beginning of walking in, I was greeted by a friendly lovely lady who checked me in. The waiting area is pristine clean and the look and feel is very modern (my kind of style). I love the colors and the decor which was calming. So, for a start... 5/5 After I had my 360 X-ray (not sure the actual name of it) I was seated to my area by another girl (Makayla- ugh sorry if I spent it wrong) but she was so patient and friendly. She made me feel such at ease because I was so nervous. She would be the one who will be treating your teeth to a paparazzi photoshoot. I can't tell u how many pictures she took of my teeth (LOL) BUT, I will say, with all the updated technology, I was so surprised of how THOROUGH they are! You can see the entire structure of your mouth/teeth on the screen in front of you!! This was pretty amazing to me!! 6/5 I was then seen by the Dentist Dr Brad. Which by the way, he is very gentle with his hands. He gave me another thorough exam and we talked about what needed to be done in the future. I didn't have much questions because again, he was detailed with everything he showed me and that needed to be done. 6/5 I am scheduled for my next appointment to have some work done and I'm really happy I found them. Everyone was amazing at this office - from the moment Misty answered the phone and gave me her honest opinion about the office (she persuaded me to make an appointment) to the experience with the dentist, dental assistant, and Yolanda the hygienist. The X-rays showed some plaque build up that is hard to get to between my Bach teeth that my previous dentist not only didn't clean but when I went in for tooth pain, didn't bother to dig deep to see that this was causing the pain. I used to like these guys, but this was it. I was quoted for a crown in may 2023, paid the amount in full, and had the crown placed. Two days ago, my crown came off completely eating SOUP. I called and made an appointment to have the crown fixed got in two days later (which I was fine with). Not only was I expected to pay to have the crown re-cemented $67.00, but now I was told that the crown was never covered in the first place. The young lady at the desk advised me that there is nothing I can do about it because the old front desk staff is no longer there. So I'm being held accountable that I was informed of the wrong quote for the crown by "old staff," and I have to pay again for a shitty crown job. For all of you that hate going to the dentist this is the place to go Have been going here for the last 4 years for routine checkups and cleaning. Had an issue with a front tooth and after checking could not save it or do a a implant and needed a bridge which meant pulling it and grinding down the 2 teeth next to it. I freak getting my teeth cleaned! Just had it done under sedation and never felt anything and the temporary bridge looks as good if not better. I am beyond ecstatic that I came across this office. I am terrified of dentists and have not been to one in years. I was comfortably put under sedation to have 2 root canals completed. The pain after was extremely minimal. I scheduled another appointment for 4 more to be done next month. I was able to be placed on a payment plan with low interest as well. I have been going to Welch Dentistry since they opened. I only get my teeth cleaned there because everything else is over priced . I went there yesterday to have my teeth examined and cleaned. Got there 15 minutes early and waited 20 minutes after my appointment. I finally get to the back ,they give me a boot leg exam. After anther 20 mins of sitting in the chair they tell me my teeth are good and in the same sentence tell me I need a deep cleaning that's going to cost 300 plus more dollar and I will have to make anther appointment. These guys are a waste of precious time.I would never recommend this dentistry to anyone. Bait and switch business. Two thumbs down. read more

This dentistry place is the best dentistry establishment I have ever been to. I'm not a big dentist goer but I felt welcomed here. Every staff is so nice that you forget that you're in a dentist's office about to get your teeth drilled. The wait wasn't long for me. The decor is very nice and clean. I love the music playing in the background as I'm humming to the music while getting my teeth worked on. Morgan is really nice. we actually talked in between working on my teeth. She took her time and did a comprehensive exam and cleaned my teeth really well. Dr. John is the man with the plan to get my dental needs back in line. My appointment was at 1pm, I arrived at 12:55 checked in and was called in at 1:04! That happens, never. Granted I had filled out the forms online prior to arriving, an option that I loved. This is obviously a better way to handle appointments. From there everyone I encountered was very sweet and they took the time to answer all of my questions. Dr. Jonathan gave me more options than the last 3 dentist I've seen combined. My daughter was seen on the same visit, we were in separate rooms but they told me where she was and what was happening the entire time. By far, the best experience I've ever had going to a dentist. Just had the worst experience with this place over any other Dental practice that I have ever been to. Lost an old filling and called to book an appointment to replace it. They are not able to get me in for nearly a week, which was no problem. Went in today June 21st for my appointment and am told that I need to have a clean before they do any work. Still ok, so when. June 27th earliest date yet another week delay and unfortunately I am with clients that day. Next available time July 17th....and then they need to book a separate appointment after that for the filling.... Completely unacceptable that they think is ok for me to walk around with a missing filling for a month... Bad Practice...Stay away!! read more

HALLELUJAH!!!! I finally found a great dentist. I used to go to Dr. Ingersoll who retired at the age of 83 being the longest practicing dentist in Nevada around 2003. I have been to several dentist and have had not so great experiences, to be honest....horrible experiences. The dentist prior to me finding Welch Dentistry completely botched my mouth. I was in pain for over four years. I used to fall asleep having my teeth cleaned. It was something I looked forward to. I had them cleaned every three months. My insurance paid for two and I would cash pay the other two. After having a hygienist professionally whiten my teeth...left me way too long under the light and didn't put adequate barrier cream on my gums, I ended up with puss swollen gums and extremely sensitive teeth. They have never been the same. I never had dental anxiety until I started going to dentists who botched my mouth. I have so much anxiety I'd rather live with constant pain then go to the dentist. Fast forward to going to Welch Dentistry. I met both Dr. Brad and Dr. Jonathan on my initial consultation. I was embarrassed and nervous but I was greeted with compassion and understanding. They immediately settled my nerves. So many offices advertise "sedation" Dentistry but they don't do sedation for general Dentistry only extractions. I have extensive work being done. So far I've had one root canal, three three crowns, two extractions which are in the process of implants. I've been sedated twice. All of the staff are super pleasant. Dr. Brad makes me feel so comfortable I feel like I'm sitting down to meet a friend for lunch. I cannot express enough how great my experiences have been. I have extreme anxiety....extreme. I am excited to finally get my smile back. I can't wait until I can chew my food normally without having to avoid certain teeth as the pain is excruciating. It's been so long since I could eat normally. I'm not exaggerating when I say finding Welch Dentistry has improved my quality of life...it truly has. Oh and as a bonus I've had sedation twice and never felt the iv...literally felt nothing.
