There's usually a cop car in the parking lot, and there's a little back shed where they sell liquor; that way the main store can stay open later and sell beer & smokes. This place probably has the biggest selection of smokes outside of a smoke shop, and many of the staff look like they might be too young to legally buy cigarettes. Some look so old that I don't know how emphysema or cirrhosis hasn't killed them yet. You can't get gas here, but you can get a dozen different kinds of beef jerky. And did I mention everything is UNBELIEVABLY CHEAP?? As long as you can handle the vagrants and panhandlers in the parking lot, things are good. Just don't ever apply for a job here... I have a friend who did that once, and ended up quitting because he almost got knifed by a drunk bum while stocking the beer cooler.

It's dirt-cheap (cigarettes for around four bucks a pack and frequent buy-1-get-1 specials) and has a good selection of low- to mid-level beer.
