I was hit by sticker shock at the price for a shave down, but my baby had terrible matts because she's been traumatized by multiple moves in past 3 months and had stopped grooming. Her skin is in perfect condition despite how tightly matted to the skin her fur was, so I accept the moderately high price for a job well done. Misjka feels so much better now and is back to loving being vigorously pet, which she started to dislike due to the discomfort from the matts. Plum Street Pet Clinic strongly recommended Kayla's, and they are a 5-star reviewed veterinarian that caters mostly to cats so I felt she was in good hands. Our fur babies are so important to us, so we need to be sure they are being well cared for when we entrust them to a care giver. When picking up, I saw a white dog being groomed. The first time we took our older dog in, the simple instructions that I gave were "she needs her nails clipped, and please don't give her a poodle cut!" When I picked her up at the end of the day, she looked amazing and had a cute little red bow in her hair. I was just looking back at some old photos of my dog when she was groomed by another groomer in Mason, OH, and she had eye boogers all over her face right after grooming!!! I have gotten so used to them being clean now because of Lisa that it grossed me out and I can't believe I didn't find Lisa sooner!!!! She does a great job on my doggy every time she grooms her. She always listens to what I want, and treats my dog as if it was her own! After picking up my dog from Lisa her ears are always very clean and toenails trimmed, hair cut perfect, eye boogers gone, smells good, super soft hair etc etc!!! Her website also says they have a special bathing system which I believe has helped my dogs skin tremendously. My dog has a little brown spot on her shoulder where hair doesn't grow from an allergic reaction to vaccines a year ago, and since going to Lisa she has started to grow hair and the spot is barely noticeable!!
