I stopped by Top Donuts today and the donuts themselves were really good -- fresh, soft, and definitely worth coming for. However, the customer service at the front counter really brought the experience down. The lady taking orders was rude and had an unpleasant attitude from the moment we walked up. When I asked politely for napkins, she acted like she didn't know and responded as if I should go find them myself. It made the interaction uncomfortable for no reason. Wow I don't know why I haven't been here sooner! The sausage egg and cheese croissant is so filling and delicious! We originally were just going to get the breakfast burritos but we noticed they were pretty small, so glad we also got some croissant and they were definitely a hit! First time here and I'm already a fan. Top Donuts are pillowy soft and surprisingly good that's miles better than Shipley's - which isn't a hard feat by any means. I also liked their sausage, egg, and cheese croissanwich. The owner is very sweet and makes you feel welcomed as soon as you enter her store. So glad that this place is nearby, but it may not be the best for my waistline. We'll definitely return. read more

These doughnuts are perfection! The doughnuts are so light, fluffy and has a great balance of sweetness. We bought half a dozen of assorted and a medium coffee for under $7. The donuts here are much fresher than the competing shops, the store owners are very friendly and they have a great selection of drinks also. They are now serving fried rice with steak chicken and shrimp, its goooood! Go check em out, gotta keep the quality mom and pop shops open! read more

I used to think Krispy Kreme was my favorite. The caveat to that was only when they are coming out fresh. Every time I go in here the donuts are warm and fresh. Uber airy and melt in your mouth good. Compared to Shipley and jack and Jill Top Donuts always taste fresher. Kolaches are really tasty.
