Found this place recently after moving to the area and just had to give them a shout out. The place is cute, cozy, and clean. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The pizza is heaven. Chewy crust, fresh toppings, great sauce/cheese ratio. The sesame seeds make the pizza no-joke next level. Crunchy and toasty little sprinkles of happiness. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner on one of our visits and he is a nice guy. He makes all of the marinara sauce homemade and it is so delicious and flavorful! He is from the up north and you can definitely tell in the food! The pizza slice are huge! The pizza rolls are very good and you can add any toppings you like inside them. Great pizza has come to Tyler! It is authentic New York style done perfectly. It is a family run business with the friendliest people who are happy to get to know you. The owner has been making pies back east since the 70's, and it shows. His daughter is lovely and happy to recommend some of their specialty pizzas. Just to warn you. Their large is huge! "Top It Off" Pizza was actually recommended by a security guard at one of the hospitals here and described as the closest to New York that you can get. So firstly-- Thank you Eddie for the recommendation! No truer words have ever been spoken- the pizzas were so delicious and HUGE- plenty to feed us with leftovers to boot, (cold pizza ftw!) But the price was extremely reasonable! My second favorite part - the dessert- cheesecake that melts in your mouth with fresh strawberries and the cannoli - oh my word- the cannoli... Ok East Texas, this is the real deal. Pizza prepared and presented by a true master of the art. This is not your usual chain restaurant over/under done pie put together by some kid more interested in getting to his/her latest text than doing their job. It's a thin crust done to perfection. I've seen a complaint about the texture being soggy. A properly done pizza has a window of about :30min to be eaten, if you want it at its' very best. It needs to rest several minutes after leaving the oven but be eaten when still plenty warm. Resting allows the crust to firm up just like fresh bread out of the oven. John, the New Yorker in the kitchen, knows his stuff. He even brought his own oven with him from Long Island, N.Y. They also have some pretty decent cannoli in the cooler read more
