THE GOOD: Granite counter top edging, finish & installation: 5 Star Judy L, Lowe's store manager reimbursed me $250 towards my out of pocket expenses with my new sink, see below. THE BAD: On our first measurement Top Line informed us that our new sink would not work because it was not a fully under mount sink. So we ordered a new one. Both were 10" deep versus our original 8" sink. We were not notified by TL, or Lowe's, that there would be issues with our drainage due to the difference in depth. When I discussed with the TL Installer, he said he could provide a rubber drain pipe solution to resolve but would have to charge me $500! I hired a Licensed Plumber who charged me $225! (I gave him a well deserved $45 tip). I also could not use the drain that came with the new sink and had to purchase a $32 one that fit. THE UGLY: Top Line installed my $285 under counter sink and put several deep scratches on it! AND did't properly center the hole for our new faucet leaving it 1/2" off center PERMANENTLY! read more

We went through Wren kitchen who uses Topline installers for our countertop. worst experience. until i threatened to sue them i got no results. Multiple emails but no follow through. We had plumbers and electricians scheduled in accordance with their time repressions. We had to keep cancelling the other workers as the installers cancelled. My favorite was the alleged delivery of 5-5-25 they called to tell us they couldn't find their installers, not my counter top, but the actual installers. it won't let me post without a star. they don't deserve any star. read more

In July 2024 we contracted with Lowes in Hamilton NJ to remodel our kitchen.The countertop installers assigned to us based on the countertop we picked was Topline in Pennsauken NJ. Before leaving for vacation in early August, I spoke with Laura from Topline & she explained the process. She said once the cabinets were installed someone from their company would come out to measure & make a template for the countertops. Since we knew the granite we wanted she told me we could pick our slabs & that would expedite the process, making the wait time between measure & install shorter. I asked where we needed to go. She said Daltile in Phila. She gave me their name, address & phone number. We went to Daltile on Aug19 & picked 2 slabs as Laura said pick 2 even if we only need 1 just in case so there would be enough & it would match. Lowes calls the pattern Moon River, Daltile called it Ornamental White. It looked the same. Daltile notified Topline of our selection as did I in an email when we got home that day. Crickets, no response. Pat from Topline was the person who came out to measure & make the template on Sept9. From the start he was rude & condescending telling my husband there would be extra charges & fees. These were all things that were included in our contracted price with Lowes. He also tried to sell us an overpriced sink( $500) as he did not like the one we had purchased. The next day we get an email from Topline asking us to sign a waiver that the slab pictured may not be the exact slab we get. We already picked 2 slabs, what kind of crap are they pulling? My husband calls & they tell him THEY DONT USE DALTILE! They said we never told you to go there. We go to Lowes & the salesman calls, speaks to Laura who denies ever speaking to me, or telling me to go to Daltile. How would we have known to go there unless she told us? We cancel our contract, Lowes refunds the deposit paid less the $120 template fee. We never got a template! I want the $120 fee as they were paid by Lowes. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. They denied ever speaking to us or telling us what granite yard to go to. We went with another granite countertop installer and they did a fabulous job and did not try to upcharge us or sell us an overpriced sink. We filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and Top Line did not respond. The BBB suggested filing a claim with the NJ Div of Consumer Affairs, which we did. After renovating homes and apartments for over 25 years, Top Line is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with in the building trades. After clearing my schedule for the installation date, I received a call late afternoon of the day before the scheduled installation that they had not loaded my countertop onto the truck. I had to clear another day of my schedule for installation. The tech arrived and installed part of the countertop. He informed me that the person who measured for the template measured wrong and the backsplash would not fit the kitchen. A THIRD installation appointment would have to be scheduled. The tech told me his office would call to schedule the THIRD installation appointment. After waiting SIX WEEKS with no contact, I started calling the office. The office staff were EXTREMELY rude and uncooperative. Finally, after filing a claim with Lowe's, an appointment was scheduled. The tech did not show up for this appointment. After dealing with the rude office staff again another installation appointment was scheduled. The countertop installation was finally completed 2 1/2 months after it was started. This company was used to install my kitchen countertop. The product is beautiful. However, the installation and follow-up was horrible. Not only was the measurements wrong at the outset, Top Line refused to take ownership for the errors made during the measuring process--pushed it off as a plumbing issue when it was clearly a measurement issue on their part! I purchased granite counter tops through Lowe's 10 years ago. I now have a huge crack behind the kitchen faucet. I cannot find my work order or receipt. You would think they would keep records since they have a warranty for 15 years. They can't find it anywhere. They questioned did I get the counter tops from them. Of course I did. Went to the company, picked out my slab so I know where I went. I know it's partially my fault for misplacing is losing the receipt, but your a company. You should have records!!! We purchased our granite counter top from Lowes and Topline is the contractors they use for granite install. We went and picked out the perfect slab and set up a date for template. All was great with template. On time, professional and gave great suggestions. Our problem came with install. We were scheduled to install 2 weeks after template but I received a phone call on the Thursday before my Monday install and was told they dropped my perfect granite slab. I was so upset. I was told they would send pictures of another slab in that lot and I can approve and be installed on Friday instead of Monday. So after waiting the crew came on time and got the job done. I am pleased so far with the granite just was very upset for the setback. FYI- Lowes however is horrible and do not contract them for kitchens! read more

We got new kitchen true Wren kitchen store and Topline was contracted to install my countertops. When they come to do templates, they say for longest countertop they have to use 2 parts and connect them. This countertop is about 8 feet long and I was not happy with idea of having seam on not that long piece. They were not responding to my concerns, was brushing me off and on the end told us we have to go to kitchen store and pay more money, because they need 4 people instead of 2 to carry longer slab. Wren decided to cover that cost, but installation had to be rescheduled. Couldn't get a new date, until again Wren representative call then. On new date, 2 people showed for installation, so extra fee and longer wait time was not justify. And then when I come home and after installation turn out that one of the countertops is smaller than in the contract. When, again I call Wren, they told them then my husband sign paper during templating which has smaller size of the counter. And while this is true, nobody worn him or told him about changing size of counters. You trust that those people are professional and now what they are doing, they should have all measurements from the contract. I guess not this company. Wren is in contact with this company, we are waiting for solution. You can have issues with anybody, but how company will handle it is another story. Any contact with them, even about scheduling appointment, was very difficult, they have attitude. And we did spend lots of money for these countertops (we order the most expansive Quartz they have in the offer). read more

I also had to use them because I went to LOWES. Under no circumstances should you go anywhere near this company. They can't measure, they can't cut straight and they can't install correctly. They cut my sink cutout wider on one side than the other. They installed the counter a 1/2 inch off center over the sink, they cut the backsplash incorrectly and wanted to correct the error by lifting the counter to meet the gap on the backsplash. LOWES was of no help. I was completely on my own. Only by withholding payment did Lowes even made a call. read more

We purchased a granite counter top from Lowes. After the install, my wife noticed some pits sized smaller that a dime, in the granite top. We called the installers - Top Line and provided pictures. Also, we informed the Project Manager at Lowes. We were informed that neither Top Line nor Lowes would be rectifying the situation stating that granite is a natural product. The only solution offered is to pay Top Line $300 to fill the pits. Here are our issues with the entire process: After we visited the warehouse and picked our slab from a distance, we had to pay Lowes in full. I have pictures from the warehouse showing that there were 3 slabs of the granite that we picked. I did not have the opportunity to control which slab Top Line actually used (of the 3 slabs) to make our countertop. Also, the entire slab was not used - again we could not control which part of the slab that was used to produce our countertop. Nor, could we control which sub-contractor Lowes picked. After Top Line measured for the template; via paperwork, we were told to inspect the granite, yet no opportunity was granted for us to view the granite prior to production. We are expected to accept the product regardless of the finishing. Why would I spend $3000 on an inferior product? I assumed that it would be finished and the fact that Top Line now wants another $300 to finish the granite tells me Top Line did an inferior job. read more

Even after I'd called Top Line DIRECTLY and left a message @ ext 105 for the scheduler, I don't get a call back. The receptionist found my information in their system, so clearly they had my info. From the Manufacture Top Line , I received a call a day latter from Barbara who was courteous and pleasant to talk too. I Scheduled my appointment with them. I got a call from Steve to come out and do my template, he was able to work with my schedule for Monday the 1-14-19. Steve gave me a verification called, which I thought was very awesome and professional. Steve was also able to come early. I found Steve to helpful with my questions and over all easy to talk too. I went to lowes northeast philladelphia and lowes contracted top line to do INSTALL A granite kitchen countertop which was to include edging. Countertop was installed and they said they measured the edging saying it is a two part job. I never heard back from top line and their customer service does not respond. I would not recommend Top Line Company for your countertops. I bought my cabinets and countertops at Cabinets to Go in Delaware, and they subcontracted out the install work to Top Line. I had to wait 3 business days for them to call me back for a template appointment (literally 3 days to return my call) - then waited another 7 business days for that appointment. Then it took another 24 business days for the countertops to actually be installed, which was a process I was told would take 10-14 business days. Every time I called, I was given the same excuse that they were waiting for materials (that is when they would return my calls). They were also never sorry for a delay. My countertops are made of quartz (manmade), and should have been less hassle. read more

I have just begun my journey with Top Line. So far so good. I purchased a countertop with Lowes and Top Line called me to make an appointment for the template several days after. Steve was just here putting together the template. He answered each question and was very nice. I am hoping that all goes well and the install is in 2 weeks. The following day, Top Line emailed me and asked me to visit one of their sites to pick out my preferred granite slab. I went up to CHBriggs in Telford, Pa and Eddie treated me like gold. He was amazingly nice and patient...and he didn't have to do that because I was scheduled to meet another representative but I was early! This company is the worst! I don't know how they remain in business. Purchased our kitchen cabinets and supplies from Lowes and our installation began in early April. Our contractor phoned Top Line (Lowes subcontractor for the counter top) to make arrangements for the template of our quartz counter top in early May. They never called him back. We called a week later and were given an appointment for the template 2 weeks after that! (DELAY # 1) Again, we heard nothing from them so we called again a week after the template was done and were told that they needed approval for an extra charge because of the size of the slab. They made no attempt to reach us to get this approval. (DELAY # 2). Our kitchen installation is now at a complete standstill waiting for this counter top. The counter top is finally ready for delivery in mid-June. They make an appointment to do this installation, show up, look at the counter top that is on their own truck and tell us that they don't have enough men to carry the slab into the house, they will have to reschedule the installation. (DELAY # 3) Another week goes by before another appointment is made. It was now the end of June. Since this is not our full-time residence, our contractor accepted the delivery of this top for us. Upon inspection, we saw large gaps on either end of the slab (1/4 inch to the wall on one side and a bit narrower on the other side). We contacted Top Line to send a technician to fill these gaps. Another 3 weeks before that was done. (DELAY # 4) It was the middle of July before all of our finish work was complete because of these many delays by Top Line. Finally, all of the work is done and our kitchen is complete. We contact Top Line one more time to purchase the metal sink grid to go into the sink that came with our counter top. In our 1st phone call, I'm told that they will be in stock in "either a day or a week" (this is late July) and they will call me when they have them to get credit card information from me and the shipping address. Guess what...no one calls. I call back again after 2 weeks and am told that they need to know if we have a top drain or a center drain. I inform them and they say they will call me back and let me know when they will be shipping it and get my credit card and shipping address (again!). Once again they do not call me back. I phone last week (almost the end of August now!) and am told that it will be shipped out "as soon as possible". I provide all of the necessary information. Another week has passed and no delivery! I phone today and am told that it is going to be shipped tomorrow?????????? That's as soon as possible?????? The reason...they forgot! I'm flabbergasted! If I did my job the way they do their job, I wouldn't have one! Thank goodness I'll never have to use them again for anything! I wouldn't recommend anyone use them! read more

Horrible customer service. They reject emails, even though they ask you to send a photo, They never return phone calls, and when you are lucky enough to get them on the phone, they tell you they will get back to you, but don't. We went through Lowe's and have told them to stop using this company. There is a chip they came off right at the sink line, so it is sharp and cut me. It took them 6 weeks to come out, then a few months later the same piece came out. Now they won't even answer the phone. WORST COMPANY ever. read more

I HAD to use them because I bought my granite through Lowes and they subcontracted to this company. Their tech who came out to do my template Bill was EXTREMELY rude, repeating himself forcefully every two seconds on the phone that "EVERYTHING had to be off the counter, and I mean everything". Then when I ask about using my sink cut out, which is approximately 2 sq feet of product, as a cutting board which is about 60-70$, I am told that it falls to the floor and breaks there is nothing that can be done about it. Okay, then provide me with a credit for the piece you are deliberately breaking and refusing to even TRY to save for me. No we don't do that either. Then tell me how the other 3 granite companies I spoke to all do this? Ridiculous. When I called Lowe's and told them about everything, THEY are the ones that provided me with the credit for all my aggravation with this place off THEIR cost. That should NOT have come out of their pockets, it should have come out of Top Lines. And finally, they book your install date but don't tell you a time frame until the morning of install. I'm sorry I work for a living, I don't have time to wait around until 930 AM to let you get your ducks in a row to tell me when you're going to come do a service I paid/booked two weeks ago. Our sink fell through the counter and they wouldn't even call us back. Eventually, they offered to come out--three days later. And with the small fee of $250 to FIX what was obviously a bad glue-job on the sink install two years prior. Bad business, people. We are on day 3 of no sink, a broken pipe from the fall and a bill for a local plumber and REPUTABLE business to come do this the right way.
