I went here for the first time to get a repair on my toes. The lady was nice and even did my husbands pedi. I been looking for a place in Auburn. Before my last trip I stopped in for a pedi and asked about a fill. The lady who sat at table 2 did them. I love how she fixed my shape and over all nails. So today I called to make an appointment with her and spoke to another tech who scheduled me for 3pm. I was clear on what I wanted I asked to soak my nails to get an overlay was possible. She said yes took my information. I arrived to my appointment and the lady I scheduled for had a guest in her chair. There was a lady sitting in the waiting area who spoke to me when I entered. She said your nails are long. Then she said it would be $20 to soak my nails and another $80 for the overlay and if I wanted. Design. I pulled the Conversation back to $100 for a new set I have never in all my 20 plus years paid that much for basic services. She never even looked at my nails I was planning on cutting them down etc. she hit me with we are not trying to be bothered attitude. I had my friend call to request the same services and they told her over the phone it was $38 for overlay and 15 to soak off. I personally felt disappointed in the lady and her customer services. I really like the pedi and was excited to work with the lady at table 2. I felt I she personally discouraged me by giving me an over price quote. They lost a potential customer and I would hate to think it was because I was a person of color. read more

I see all these reviews about Kimmy, Danny and Dannys wife being so kind. This must have been in an a "off" day because I got none of this! Although I must say, even though I was very nice to all of them, they either ignored me - or Kimmy was flat out rude. Kimmy spent the time that she worked on me mumbling under her breath behind her mask so much that I was beginning to wonder if she saw an imaginary person next to her. There was no one anywhere near her, besides me! She was not talking to me, it was so bizzare, she just kept slightly talking in very grumpy and unhappy tone, never talking directly to me, even when I tried to make light and pleasant conversation. It was super creepy and uncomfortable. Danny just kept walking back and forth in the salon with his phone decently loud on speakerphone and was so involved in his loud conversations, he was oblivious to how rude it was. It did not help at all with my relaxation. His wife was there and when I smiled, and said hello to her, she just looked right at me, said nothing, and then looked away. I wondered if they just did not like the look of me, or it was a "bad day" But, I did see all 3 of them act very sweet and interested while talking quite normally, to another patron who seemed like she might come into their business regularly. That not once happened with me Needless to say, they can have their selective niceness. I really wanted to like this salon. I saw many great reviews. I was so surprised and disappointed. This has been my nail salon since I moved to Auburn. It is amazing. I have never once had bad service. Everyone is very professional and the salon is extremely clean. Although I am serviced by several different techs, Dnny and Jo Ann do most of my service. I get my acrylic, manicure, pedicure and waxing at least once a month and have never had a bad experience. I've been here 2 times now within the last 3 months, so I figured it was time to leave a review from my experiences. The pros: - Clean, big, visually appealing (doesn't feel like a "hole in the wall" spot) - There are lots of chairs available so if you're going with someone, you'll likely be able to get your manis/pedis done together - Price is decent - Most of the staff is nice The cons: - The staff doesn't always communicate with you on what they're doing - for example, when I went the second time, there was one woman working on my feet and another woman came to work on my hands, but she didn't tell me what to do - rather, she almost just yanked my arm several times and didn't give me directions on where to keep it or what she was doing. And during the same visit, the woman working on my toes actually pulled off some skin and made me bleed, but didn't offer an apology or anything, just continued working as if nothing had happened. These incidences were a bit of a turn-off. - I had requested the fire dancer manicure and pedicure, as it came in a bundle, but they only gave me the firedancer pedicure. Not sure if this is because they didn't hear or forgot, but nonetheless, I didn't get it. - My manicure only lasted 3 days before it started chipping. The same happened with my mother-in-law's nails. Worst experience of my life. 35 minutes to sit even after an appointment. I then was told I couldn't have the color I wanted because it was "too light" then she told me "she would pick the color for me" like, NO absolutely not. so I picked a different color. didn't clean my cuticles didn't put the scrub on my legs and when I asked why it was being so rushed she got mean. if i'm paying for the lotions and scrubs you're supposed to put on my legs then put it, don't tell me "you don't need it" then kept talking to other people which i'm sure was about me... she kept telling me "I WORK HARD" for the whole store to hear as if I was telling her she didn't. all I was saying was to not rush through it all. I decided to time how long it took to massage my legs because at this point I was so upset. it was literally 56 seconds on each leg. just all around horrible experience. wanted to cry I was so upset at the treatment and care they didn't have. read more

Thanks Nancy. For turning my relaxing experience to a shitty one. I came in for a quick pedi. The original location was cool but due to a fire they relocated. I wanted to see how the old shop was doing. I couldn't find it at first and was going to go to my new regular shop but ended up parking right in front of it after all. When in picked my color and started to put my feet in the water. Which was SCALDING HOT! I told Nancy and and she tried to adjust. No biggie. When the water was perfect I told her it was good. She continued setting up which led to the water getting too cold. I would have turned the water off myself but couldn't find the knob. When she finally paid me attention I told her it was too cold. She then went not to mock me "1st to cold, now too hot". Well that really annoyed me but I let it slide. Now I'm pretty easy going. So I let her do their thing. Cause it just a very basic pedi. I'm not in love with the nail shape but it cool cause it's wasn't horrible. Please note she never asked what shape I wanted or if I wanted a cut down. I'm watching videos on my phone so I wasn't paying too close attention. But when it come to ACTUAL painting of the nails...that's where I put down my phone and pay attention. Cause I hate gloopy paint. And I hate when the tech just slaps in on. Which NANCY IS DOING! I tried to correct issue mid paint. The sides have polish on my skin. She did try to clean the up. But ish still looked messy. I then pointed out that there was something on my nail... lint? She decided to PAINT OVER THE LINT!!!! I take out my phone and shine a light on it. She is muttering like she can't see it. She then ask another tech what I'm saying. Eventually I have to pull the lint off myself. She then starts speaking in her language and I get the distinct sense she's saying some unpleasant stuff about me and my correction. Then comes back say "You happy". I respond "Doest matter...it's not gonna get better". She's good gets up and leave. No thank you. No have a good day. No your done. Nothing. Just leaves me sitting for 5 minutes and goes about her business. I gather my stuff and go pay my bill. I then have to ask for the pedicure drying station. It's at that point she acknowledges my presence and grabs my shoes and lays them by the drying station. Yeah. So I'll probably to get a polish change in week cause this will drive me crazy! I'll may go back but will NEVER let Nancy do my nails. read more

The first visit here was awesome, so I came back consistently for about 3 months. However, every time I came the price would be different (even though I always got a shellac fill). I don't think I did anything to deserve price changes other than maybe having them cut shorter or filed a little thinner etc. One time I went I had broken a small corner of my nail and the technician was really sweet and started simply filling/shaping it with acrylic because it was small and didn't need a new tip put on. Tina the owner walked by and talked with her in their language and when she walked away the gal doing my nails said Tina told her to take off the nail and put a new one on so that they could charge extra, but that she didn't want to do that to me because it wasn't necessary! In addition to this, there is no consistency in the nail technicians. One time I had one lady take off my polish so slowly I literally didn't have time for the rest of my fill and had to leave. Not kidding it took her like 25 minutes to remove the polish with a drill. Then the couple of times I had Tina do my nails herself she was rushed and inconsistent. I felt like she just wanted to get me in and out as fast as possible. After a few months of lackluster service and uneven nail lengths/shapes I took my business elsewhere. read more

I asked to have my nails taken off and to have a gel manicure. The woman who did my nails repeatedly hit me with the drill, damaged my nail bed, did NOT remove all of the acrylic after I asked her at least four times, my nails are uneven, and this was a miserable experience. I have paid this salon, to have to go home and finish my nails. Try a different nail salon! read more

We had an appointment for nails for me and my daughter plus pedicures for both of us as well as my husband. They seemed surprised about it when we got there. They put my daughter in a chair, then my husband. They kept telling me, one more minute. 30 minutes after my appointment, they finally brought me to a chair. At this point I'm annoyed with the wait. I was never asked which pedicure I wanted, I've been there before and there are several types. After waiting so long I was just done and wanted to leave, so I told my husband no fingernails. Suddenly, they remembered the appointment. The owner (i think) came over and berated me to the point that my husband had to tell him to leave me alone. Apparently he thought we should stay and do the nails, he claims they brought staff in just for this appointment... this appointment that I waited 30 minutes for and did not get what I wanted. There's no signs of prices anywhere & don't bother asking cause they'll ignore you or pretend they don't understand you. $8 for one single broken nail when my regular salon charges $3. The ladies here are so rude, have lots of attitude& not helpful at all. When I got my ONE nail fixed & told her to make it thinner bc she just threw on a big glob of powder, she didn't do it. I would usually not mind but it's so noticeable how much thicker & wider it is compared to the rest. I've gotten my nails done here before so I figured I'd try again- bad idea. My pedi was great but my nails look terrible. I got dip powder (which I've had numerous times) and by the pictures you can tell the job wasn't very great. I've never had my nails grinder down and filed so many different times and ways. The drip powder looks very spotty and some spots on my nails are white. They told me it was normally-it's not at all. I have dip and acrylic powered under neath my nails and all of my hands. This is a NEW set. It is extremely thick and my nails are uneven. When I asked about it they basically told me I was wrong and I can come back later. In the middle of me speaking to two of the ladies working there, they both walked away and the one doing my nails proceeded to talk to other customers about how I was wrong. No-I'm the customer and I've been getting my nails done for over 12 years and I know this isn't what your bails should look like. They kept telling me to come back later and I told them I want what I paid for. When I told them I couldn't come back because I didn't have time they wanted to put shellac over my dip-not what I came in for. At first, the ladies were nice but as soon as I said something I was the bad one. I left with bleeding cuticles and ugly nails just in time for my birthday this weekend Update-I have attached a pic of my nails days later, nail polish is peeling and my cuticles still burn. read more

First time coming during a lunch break and you would never expect it to be so nice inside from the deceiving older outside look, but really nice . I asked how long for a pedi and the lady said 10 minutes. about 3 minutes later they put me in water (GREAT their getting started sooner I thought) Nope 20 minutes later i'm sitting now in Luke warm water looking like one of those crazy people trying to catch eye contact with any of the workers lolol ...The owner or manager was really nice and kept assuring someone would be with me shortly. Finally I was approached by a lady that proceeded to tell me she was late due to having to apply medicine to her cold sore on her lip...*Awkward pause on too much personal info* i checked for gloves and face mask (CHECK...whew proceed Lol) She was really nice and pedi turned out cool , I just am not sure why pedicures in Auburn cost $25 after tip your spending a minimum of $30 on a 25 minute pedi ?
