The salon is clean, quiet, and staff is very friendly. As a walk in I didn't have to wait and my acrylic set with gel was complete in about an hour. The customer service part is great and prices are average. The nails themselves are a different story. I showed the nail tech a picture of what shape and length I wanted but ended up with super short, wide square nails. I kept explaining to her how I wanted them to look. She was very sweet and kept trying but I just gave up. If you want basic nails I would recommend this place. If you want artistry and a wow factor go elsewhere. I'm new to the area and was looking for a place to get a basic pedicure. After reading a lot of Yelp reviews, I decided to check this place out. I went in on a Friday night and was seated right away. The place itself is a pretty average nail salon in a small strip mall-style building (additional parking behind the building as well). But it was clean and the people were friendly. The pedi itself was great. I have to say that I was pretty nervous when I didn't see prices listed anywhere in the salon. I'm used to paying about $25 for a pedicure where I'm from and was worried it was going to be a lot more expensive. Turns out it was still only $25, but I would have liked to have been able to see prices. Tip: If you go here, make sure you have some cash on hand. I'm one of those people who puts everything on my card, which was fine for the pedicure itself, but tip is cash only. I was embarrassed when I could only find $2 in my purse. Worst mani/pedi I've ever gotten. I came to Time For Nails because they are one of the few salons in the area who are open on Sunday. There was no wait, the salon is clean, and there is a good selection of nail polishes. Prices are also reasonable - got mani/pedi for $35. HOWEVER, the nail artist ran the foot file against my ankle bone, causing it to bleed slightly. A day and a half later it still stings. After painting my toe nails she used a brush to run acetone around the edge of each nail, eliminating the nice clean edge and creating a blurry, messy look. My right thumb has a very rough, jagged edge and some paint is already starting to peel (not chip, peel). I definitely won't be going back. read more

Yelp. You actually let me down for once. So my checklist to get a pedicure, you need to be Asian. Let's be only honest, they are the only ones that get it right. However, the pedicure wasn't anything special. The lady actually ended up scraping and cutting the back of my foot. All and all, they are the nicest people- but the quality isn't there. OH MY WORD. I've found my holy grail of nail salons (though I'm thoroughly embarrassed to have written those words). What makes up my holy grail? 1. must do good gel manicures 2. must do nice job on cuticles without causing significant blood loss or pain 3. parking is ideal 4. must not be appointment only 5. must not be filthy It doesn't sound like much, but finding someone who can do a good gel manicure is harder than you'd think. You need someone who takes their time, doesn't get gel all over your skin, doesn't paint polish on your skin or too close to your cuticles (you know that annoying 7 day in lift? yeah, that's why that happens), files your nails evenly, doesn't make swirls with the gel - I could keep going on and on. Adam at Time For Nails is my guy. Though my Opi Axxiom manicure took a bit longer than I was used to (better part of an hour), I'm almost 2 weeks in and only one tiny chip (and I am ridiculously hard on my hands and nails). The salon was pretty and bright, every tool/instrument used was in sterile autoclave pouches (not just the blue solution you find at most salons). Adam was super pleasant, I had plenty of room at his station, and he did a really great job. I think it was $25, not including tip - which is pretty normal. My only complaint is that it's lasted so long that I'm bored with the color and want new nails now! read more

I went in to Time For Nails for the first time today after reading reviews on Yelp. I have to say - I agree with all of the 5 star reviews I read. The prices and services offered were the same as your run of the mill nail salon, but the way they differentiate themselves is with amazing service, friendly attitudes, and professional attire and customer service. I got both a pedicure and a french shellac manicure and my nail tech did a fantastic job. I am very picky about my manicures, and she left my nails looking neat and clean with non bumps, lumps, or thick white lines! Throughout the service they constantly check in with you to see that you are satisfied. And as an added bonus, since it was my first time visiting the salon, I got a 10% discount! Parking is easy, and there is a stop light right next to the shopping center for easy access. Being new to the area I expected to have to sift through several nail salons before finding the one I'd rest on. But after finding this, the first salon I tried, I've met my match! read more

It's always a pain searching for nail salons outside my city, but I'm glad I found this place! We hopped into a few other salons in the area and walked right out - they were small and dingy - and more expensive. This place is spacious and very clean. They use new tools, straight out of a vacuum-sealed package - for each pedicure, which really put my future sis-in-law at ease about getting her feet done. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We walked in without an appointment so there was about an hour wait, but we were able to put our names down and head down the road to grab lunch in the meantime. When we arrived back an hour later, we were promptly seated for our pedis. It's always appreciated when a place knows its timing so they don't waste the customer's time waiting. They did a great pedi and fab gel mani. I normally get French on both nails and toes but decided to go for a color. They were super helpful - I chose a bright orange/red in the gel for my nails and they picked out a matching (regular) toe nail polish for me to use since I don't get gel on my toes. Great service, clean, friendly, and reasonably priced (I think I paid about $60, including tip, for a gel mani and regular pedi - which is about what I pay in NYC). My three daughters and I go here very often. Brenda always does my acrylic fill ins. Another girl did them on Saturday and I will not be returning. My nails were rough, the gel polish already chipped on Sunday. I had globs of acrylic under my nails and all around my cuticles. I will not be returning and neither will any of my daughters. Went in with a group of girls on a late Saturday afternoon/early evening (4 of us total) running late for an appointment. They graciously took us even though we were about 20 mins late. The staff was very friendly and engaged us all in conversation (asking where we were from and how we found out about the place). We all got pedicures and some got manicures. The pedicure chairs were all Massage chairs (and the remote controlled massage was heavenly!). "Time for Nails" offers an array of pedicures, but I would say that the one that I got was whatever the "standard" pedicure is that they offer, especially since I wasn't asked/nor did I specify that I wanted anything special (in regards to the type of pedicure) done to my feet. I did not get the name of the woman that did my pedicure, but it started with soaking my feet in water (with a little jet bubble/whirlpool action thing going on). She wore gloves of some sort before touch my feet (which after examining the pedicure process of some of the others that I came in with, this appeared to be standard). After soaking for a while she then cut cuticles, clipped/shaped my toenails (one foot at a time). Then she put this green scrub (I don't know if the base of it was salt, sugar or sand) at the base of my foot (again this process is one foot at a time, taking care of one foot while the other soaks in the water). She began to rub the scrub around my feet and up my leg (it felt amazing!). Lastly, she placed what appeared to be some sort of interchangeable imitation pumice stone in this device so that she could exfoliate my feet with the scrub still on. The majority of the scrub was focused on my legs and the top part of my feet instead of the bottom (the part of my foot that I actually walk on). After that my feet were towel dried and then she placed a warm towel across my legs for about 30 seconds. Lotion was applied and rubbed all over my feet and part of my legs. She slid my feet into these disposable flip-flop things and then she prepped and polished my nails with the color of my selection. I was then directed to the nail drying area where I joined the rest of the ladies that I came with (since I was the last to finish up). We weren't given any directions on how long we needed to stay under the nail dryer so after sitting for awhile we got up and began to put our coats on . By this time, they hadn't collected payments from all of us and the staff looked nervous when we started to gather our things. I guess they thought we actually had the audacity to try to leave without paying. I walked over to where one of the staff members were standing and handed her my credit card. She handed me the receipt to sign and return, and the other to keep for my own records. Now, although I had discussed with one of my other girlfriends that found out through their website they offered a 10% discount on all services $15 or more on your first visit to the salon, NO ONE TOLD ME THAT! IN FACT, NO ONE TOLD NONE OF THE LADIES THAT I CAME WITH ABOUT THAT DISCOUNT! And we all spent at least $25 for the pedicure (if nothing else)! It's almost like they treat it like a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. I have to say that after feeling the back of my feet, they felt the same way that they did when I came in. I'm not sure what the scrub was supposed to do, but it did nothing for my feet (which by the way weren't dry and callused beyond recognition but I had some dry skin). Perhaps it was the lack of scrubbing that just failed to get the job done. If you want to go there to relax and enjoy the amazing massage chairs, then I recommend the place. But based on what I went there to have done and ACTUALLY pay my money for, I've had better for cheaper and would rather go somewhere else. 2 Stars for the pedicure since the results were mediocre. 1 Additional star for the massage chair alone. read more

I work on television and have a lot of close up shots so I MUST have perfect nails. Yes, I am extremely picky!!! First of all, Time For Nails employees do a fantastic job!!! I am there on a regular basis. I am not going to tell you who does my nails because then you will want to book appts with her and she won't have time for me, ha ha. I don't think you can get a bad service though. I used to get my nails done at another salon and the owner was always rushing the technician... "hurry, hurry, we have people waiting". I am sure it stressed the technician out, as it did me as well. When people would come in, she would lie about how long the wait was so they would stay. It was very frustrating. I went to a salon in Blue Bell by IHOP. It was horrible. Very unfriendly and they charged me a fortune for just a polish change. Ridiculous!!!!! The owner at Time For Nails is fantastic!!! I pay attention to things going on when i am there and she is always honest when people come it for a service. She tells them exactly how long it may take (her best guess), and she always makes sure everyone leaves happy! If you are not happy with your service, all you have to do is tell her and she WILL make it right!!!!! I can tell by how she conducts her business that she is in it for the long haul. She wants to keep her customers happy and keep them coming back. They also do waxing, but I have never had this service. You can pay by the minute for a back massage while your nails dry too. They just got brand new pedicure chairs and the place is very clean. I think the folks here are very friendly and professional and I would highly recommend this salon. Just my personal opinion!! I've gotten a lot of pedicures growing up. I'm talking twice a month April to October for 8 years. The salon is pretty standard, in a strip mall. Clean. I walked in and was the only one. I got seated immediately. All the staff were on their phones or tablets, that was amusing. One was asleep in a massage chair. This pedicure was pretty standard. The green scrub was....interesting. I'm not sure what the point was actually. They did lotion and massage and the hot towel. All pretty standard. My one complaint is that the water my feet were in and out of was luke warm, almost cold. read more

Unfortunately in my first experience with this nail salon, I have been completely turned off to them. I was somewhat on a time crunch because I had a babysitter for a limited amount of time. I called 15 minutes prior to my arrival to check to see if there was any wait. I explained that due to my time crunch with the babysitter, I did not have any time to wait and needed to get in immediately. The gal on the phone was adamant and assured me that there was no wait. She took my name and information and put me in as a reservation. When I arrived, there were four ladies waiting to get their nails done. They all went in ahead of me, and they had me wait for 10 minutes before I finally got seated in a chair. Then, they had me wait another 15 minutes in the chair soaking my feet. I asked two times how much longer it would be, and they kept saying "one more minute, one more minute." Fast forward another 10 minutes, I asked for towel to dry my feet and I left. I never got my pedicure, and had to go back to relieve the babysitter. I do not appreciate a business who lies to their patrons in order to make money. Especially, when they are so insistent that there will be no wait. Absolutely shameful. read more

I just left Time for Nails. When I walked in, I was the only customer in the salon. I asked if I could get a gel manicure, and they were accomodating. The woman who took me asked me if I was on my lunch break, and I said yes. She took AN HOUR AND A HALF to do a french gel (no tips or refills) manicure. I never get my nails done...ever. But I was in a wedding so I stopped in quick on a Thursday afternoon. Was able to get right in. Easy location to get to, parking in front and in back lots. The pedi was great, they have those awesome massaging chairs. The manicure was good, not the best (again I am not picky). The mani stations did not seem as clean as the pedi area. Also I was really hoping for a hand massage, but nothing. My nails have held up great. 5 days later and no chips. I was even working in my garden this evening and they still look great. read more
