The gal did nice job at first and got my design exactly how I wanted but they didn't even last a week. I got dip with gel over to ensure durability (but she only did one coat of clear dip and I usually get two) as I always have at my other salon near North End, and it has not even been a week and multiple nails are chipped and the paint design is gone. They should invest in better quality materials if they want customers (like myself) to come back especially since it was not a cheap manicure. Came in around 630 on a Friday since I was in the area wanting a quick polish change & it was refreshing to see that they are open until 8pm. Pretty busy & it seems their speciality is acrylic nails + design/artistry. Upon walking in, I was greeted with nothing but stares from the employees. No hello, hey, goodbye; just stares. Ive been to nail shops before so I just signed myself in & sat down. Automatically set a timer in my head to be greeted before I jetted out of there. Thankfully, I was helped before my timer was up. Everything was quick & the chairs were comfy. Many manicure and pedicure stations. Went to dry my nails & had to turn the machine on myself (glad I know how). For it to be so busy, they spent a lot of time perfecting their videos for I assume an Instagram account, so that was fun to watch! I requested to get a full set and a take off showed them the nail and said they were able to do it, after proceed to take the nail off very rough I said I can cut the nail down myself and once I was able to do that I told them I still want a full set and she said she could do it then her appointment supposedly came in then she didn't want to work on the nail saying its too damage and i can reschedule another day please don't say you can do someone nails just to get them in the door then when appointment comes lie and say you can't do the nail the bed is too damaged. I tried to call the manager and they said the manager wasn't there they would call me back, never did call me back. I got a manicure and pedicure in preparation for my graduation, and i couldn't be happier!! My total was $110 for a basic pedicure and then a short acrylic nail set (all solid one color), which I think was fairly priced for the quality! All of my nails are even and well shaped, and my tech was polite and friendly! I didn't feel like my set was being rushed, like the last nail shop I went to. This place has amazing service and does amazing work. I found this place by stumbling on a few of their nail artists on Instagram and their work deserves all the accolades. I have never been to a nail salon before where it has been so clear that customers come first. Typically there's not much communication between the techs and customers after only describing what they want for their nails. At this salon, however, the workers are so friendly and welcoming. I'm so surprised at the level of customer service and satisfaction. Upon entering, I was welcomed in and seated at a spot. While I was waiting for my nail tech, I was amazed at how many regular clientele that this place and its workers has built relationships with. Conversations everywhere between everyone (nail techs and the customers) about holiday plans, how they're doing, etc. I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Alex -- who explained what he would do to even out my nails and the whole process of extensions of nails since some were broken. He was so kind and personable and I told him what he wanted and he had a color already recommended to me. I didn't have to even pick he knew exactly what would look good! I always come here since I moved to Va beach and I always get pedicures but this time I decided to get a full set because I saw the techs do amazing work I called an hour before to make sure they had the staff available to do my husband and I the honey pedicure for $39 it took forever to be seated then took forever for one lady to come over and do our pedicures one at a time because apparently they were short a person ....when it came to my full set I asked for a simple soft white SQUARE (pictured) shaped set with a design and crystals and allowed her to free hand the design. As she was doing the shape I told her multiple times that I asked for skinny square not coffin and she kept going at this point I was annoyed after being there since 5pm until almost close at about 8:30 I'm 8 months pregnant in pain from sitting so uncomfortable I spent almost $200 for piss poor service Edit since the owner wants to play stupid I asked for the STYLE IN THE PICTURE NO THE EXACT LENGTH AND I KNOW THE COLOR IS SOFT WHITE ALSO MY TOLD OUT THE DOOR WAS 163.....75 for these raggedy fat looking nails my review clearly states I had more than one service and that again I was there for hours and was in pain due to being pregnant on top of the salon closing who about to sit longer to get something fixed that wasn't fixed from get go UPDATE they finally messaged me back on Instagram then blocked me don't go to this place read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for a year now every visit I normally spend about $120 on feet n nails every two weeks. I told him last week You told me the same thing I normally work those days that's why I would rather make an appt with you guys. He says the girls that work tomorrow don't want to do your nails because your picky..... (in my mind I'm like hold on excuse me) i told him when have I ever been picky he explained to me a time that I filed my own nails after I specifically told the girl I would like a certain shape, she ignored me and continued to do her own thing so while she walked away I shaped it how I would like it that was that. I even tipped her after she ignored my request and I went about my business.... now if I'm paying 65-70 on nails every two weeks I should be able to let them know what I like and what I do not like . Now again I have never been rude about it EVER! ... he said I know who you are the men don't mind doing your nails it's the females that said your too picky... I just walked out and went to another salon.... it honestly sucks that I had to get the runaround because "I'm too picky" when there's people a lot worse than me.... I will no longer come to this establishment or recommend people to come here because of that little stunt they pulled today. read more

Worst pedicure I've had in Indian River Rd area, guy was fast, dig into my skin, was very rude and forced my feet how he needed/wanted them, and my gel polish looks like trash! HOWEVER, my nails are extremely great, the shape is perfect, the color is perfect, the paint job is perfect. I absolutely love my nails but as far as my feet, I'm thankful I wear combat boots most of my days. I will NEVER be getting a pedicure here again but I will be coming back for my nails. read more

They don't provide clear description of their services. You will ask for something basic and then they will give you a different service and try to charge you more. Beware. They could improve their business practices simply by writing out tickets in advance of the service you are getting. Instead they pretend they didn't understand because they don't speak English and then demand more money than what was agreed to upfront. They were also seen recently assaulting one of their customers and her children that they had a financial dispute with. I went to Top Nails and Spa today for a nail fill and asked for a simple French paint , even showed a picture of what I wanted but instead of a light pink base they did a (what they call nude base) with the red tip. I originally asked for just the tip to be painted with a high gloss bottom and top coat , but was told that would not look good . So they did the "nude" base and red tip which looks horrible. I paid $60 for the fill and this "design" and was told that if I didn't like it they would charge me another $20 to redo it. All I'm saying is make them do what you ask for!! I took a shot at this place. I read reviews on how great they were. As I walked in on 09/25/2020,they were ready for me already which it quite surprising seeing with covid. When I sat down, There was nail clippings for previous people sitting at her chair. The lady a chair down from me was praising on how they were her favorite. They might be more trained in acrylic nails but not an excuse. I told her to shape my nails round and she then stated square is better so my nails are now square shaped. I asked her not to cut them and then she filed them down. At that point i wanted to take her to put tips on.I got dip nails and there were not many colors to choose from but It happens. As she removed my old dip polish, she didn't fully take it off then proceeds to start my new nails. I picked the color 509. Not only is the dip on my nails but also my skin. My nails look like concrete and feel like concrete. Not smooth. I paid 40 dollars for her to put it on my real nails and they look terrible.I want to say Vicky did my nails.
