I really enjoyed this place. It was quiet for a while, but started to pick up closer to 1. It's very clean and white interior wise. The staff are nice and know what they're doing. I only got a full set manicure because I forgot wearing jeans isn't the best for a pedicure, but I will be coming back to get one sometime soon. The nails I got are a bit longer than I would've liked, but other than that they're perfect. The shape is great, color is what I wanted, and the thickness is perfect. I suppose the color could've been closer to the cuticle line, but I'm happy with the outcome overall. They have lots of colors, it was hard to pick. Price was good as well, only $55 not including tip. read more

Luck Nails is my favorite nail salon! Every one is so friendly! It's like going to family. The basic pedicure is always good. They have a large selection of colors. If you don't have an appointment they can usually take walk ins, unless it's a busy Saturday afternoon. They are closed on Sunday read more

I'm sad to be updating my review to a much lower rating but the last three times I've gone and gotten a shellac manicure my nails haven't lasted a week. I went in for my wedding and the manicure didn't last to the flight for my honeymoon (2 days later). The straw that broke the camels back is my latest manicure. It hasn't even been 32 hours and it is already chipped. Unfortunately, I will not be returning in the future as it is just washing money down the drain. Painting my nails with normal polish at home lasts longer than the gel manicures I get at Lucky Nails. read more

This shop is Best nail shop in Virginia Beach. The nail techs are always gentle and the atmosphere is cheerful and calm. They have a huge modern selection of colors in polish, shellacs and gels. I always make a reservation, as the business is very busy. You should treat yourself to this marvelous relaxing salon that has very affordable rates on all of their services. read more

I get acrylic sets, and I always find a funky design on pintrest and they do such a great job matching it! Quy is a fantastic nail tech, he always makes the shape of the nails so perfect! TRANSFORMED AN EMBARRASSING NAIL BITING BINGE INTO A MODEL HAND!!! A few times a year I end up gnawing my nails to mid-bed, usually at inopportune times where I would like to have presentable hands. So I've been to a few nail salons in my time. Unless the salon did a horrible job warranting a scathing review, I rarely comment. Today, however, I received THE BEST tips with gel job, and wanted to sing the praises of my nail tech, Quy! First, he countered my embarrassment about biting my nails with a soft spoken, non-judgmental affirmation, "that's why you're here." He pushed back the cuticles and gently filed the beds, causing me no pain. (Those who've been through this ordeal know how this part can hurt like childbirth without an epi.) He knew to make the length proportional to my hand and nailbed size, and applied the most even acrylic coating. Polished to perfection, I'm ready to audition for a Palmolive commercial! I definitely will be back, whether or not I'm on a bender. read more

My mom and I stopped here while visiting VA Beach area from NC. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and were seated for pedicures almost immediately. This was probably the best pedicure we both have ever had! The techs weren't very talkative with us which I didn't mind, not did they question us about upgrading or adding any services. They massaged our feet and legs for at least 30 minutes and it was amazing and so relaxing. For the "basic" version, this was not expected! Our feet were left feeling brand new. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

I looked all over Virginia Beach for a great individual (true individual!) lash technician. Quy, at Lucky Nails, is awesome! He's detailed, fast and I never have any problems with my lashes. I love them. Quy does my nails too, which are gorgeous. I stopped using acrylic and he's helped me start over and have healthy natural nails. I won't go anywhere else :-) read more

I have come here every two to four weeks for about 1.5 years . They still ask my name every time. The main gentleman is great but also waves your concerns with small fix. I have been happy until my last two visits. No compensation, no guarantee. My shape was MESSED UP. ON A FILL, the wonkiness of each nail and unevenness from nail to nail and hand to hand was unexceptional. No redo or refund offered. I'm a regular. read more

Popped in for a random pedicure bc i was child free for the evening and they got me in ASAP. This place is always so accommodating and friendly. I know i've said it before but i'll NEVER go anywhere else. I normally have Qui or Tracey but this time i had a different woman and she was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! Never had a problem or issue there. I also had a broken nail and Qui fit me in really quick and fixed it for me. Such great people that work there. Theres a reason why they have all 5 stars and a single phony 1 star (grudges)....I'll see you all soon!!! read more

Lucky nails is my go to nail salon. I always request Quy because he's the best!! So friendly and does a wonderful job. I love that they use a lot of OPI polishes-my favorite brand. I would recommend all of my friends and family to get their nail services done there. They also offer waxing and eyelash services as well. read more

Walked in and was able to get in right away with 3 in our party. We all had amazing pedicures!! The pedicures themselves were done in a very timely manner without feeling rushed or missing anything. In fact we all commented on how each of our pedicures had the best leg massages we've had. A great shop with friendly staff. All employees worse masks as did the patrons. read more

I'm 48 years old and have had thousands of manicures, this was by far the WORST ever!!!!! I have natural nails, and there just isn't much to do to them. I simply wanted the hangnails removed and paraffin wax. The wax was so hot that days later I have blisters still pealing. And it got on the sleeve of my jacket. I will Never be back!!! read more

Clean and bright salon area. Lots of pedicure chairs. We walked in around 5:30 and were told to come back around 6:15. No problem - we just walked over to Hobby Lobby. Came back around 6:10 and were seen right away. Pedicures were wonderful! My feet were really gross after the winter and she really went to town on them. Now they're baby smooth. They even have the bio nail polish (I think it's made with seaweed), which I was excited to see. Regular pedicure was $25 including tax. They had upgrades available too. We will definitely be back. read more

My nails were done on 03/23 and Sunday 02/25 I was back in there bc a nail popped off. Now it's been a week and I have had another nail pop off and I need a fill already. I was so excited to find a place close to my house with such cheap dip powder prices but I guess there is a reason their dip is so cheap! I have never had dip nails that lasted less than 5 days.. ridiculous for a $35 manicure. Three of my nails chipped already. Nail tech was super nice and the in salon experience was great, however, I will be splurging the extra $5-10 to have a lasting dip powder manicure. read more

Came in on a Friday as a walk in for a gel manicure. The place was packed which to me is a good sign so i didn't mind waiting the five minutes for my technician. The woman I got was great. I was in and out of there within 40 mins and got a flawless gel manicure. Def coming back! read more

While the technicians were nice, I can't say the same for my shellac manicure. The first time I had nails done the shellac was applied unevenly so you could see slight streaks and shade variations. Further, the polish began separating from the nails on several fingers in less than a week. (Note- my past shellac manicures done in the D.C. area where I moved from lasted 3-5 weeks beautifully even with abuse from handling a toddler and an active job). Despite all mentioned above I went back to make sure it wasn't a one-off fluke since the other reviews on yelp were so positive. Sadly the second shellac manicure wasn't much better and began separating from the nail within 1.5 weeks. Now I'm off to find another salon to get my 3rd manicure within a month period. read more

I used the address on the website to find the location and brought my daughter for her first ever full set on her birthday. When I came in, I told them specifically I have a gift voucher to use like the bottom of the voucher stated. They said "okay" and set my daughter up to get started. They did a good job making her wishes come true on the set. However, when I went to pay they told me they don't honor these vouchers as they don't sell them on their site. I had proof of the voucher and the email sent from them when it was purchased and they still told me it would not be honored. They told me I'd have to reach out to my family member and get a proof of purchase from them (from back in December, by the way) in order for them to honor it. My family member lives in a different time zone and this was not possible at this time. The manager would not budge on the issue and told us they'd just take my daughter's nails off and we could leave. My daughter is 9 years old and was in full-on tears at this point. As a mom, obviously I just paid in full and walked out. Other patrons in there could not believe it as well. Just beware that their customer service and honoring a gift that came from THEIR WEBSITE is not something they will do and that's just shady behavior. Thanks for taking something that was supposed to be special for my daughter on her birthday and turning it into something negative and sad. 10/10 do not recommend.

It wasn't busy and based on the menu I selected a deluxe pedicure. My feet aren't pretty I know that but my favorite part is the massage. I could have sworn it said massage but then second guessed myself because I didn't have the menu in front of me. This person clearly was in a hurry. I sat down after two lady's had been there... and left way before their polish was even on!!! Like wtf! I will say the owner/manager gave me a partial refund but I still left her a tip because maybe she's having a bad day, or under the weather. Either way not a great experience but props to the management for at least refunding me partially
