horrible horrible horrible which is what everyone else seems to say but i came in for a simple soak off nothing else at all i do not remember my techs name but she soaked me for a little after cutting the length while pulling my hands around and then turning her back towards me then she immediately grabs a nail tip and starts digging it with her real nail under all my acrylic and its putting so much pressure and hurting my hands very bad so i start to say ow and that hurts and she'll neither keep going, move to the next finger, or tell me to soak again this continues the whole time she starts using cuticle nippers and she finally uses the drill to file off what she couldnt RIP but there was STILL acrylic on multiple fingers my nails are extremely thin and burning and very uneven so my mother (im a minor and she was paying) comes and is getting upset saying she doesn't want to pay bc the service she asked for isn't what i got and i am hurt and my nails are very damaged and they get very upset and rude and start to get rilled up with her so she decides to be same back and we are about to walk out bc the front desk person is js saying they did nothing wrong and my nails are fine and there's no more acrylic and they start saying they are calling police so my mother does aswell and they hang up and she has a officer come down and they just all lied to them the whole time even getting aggressive and walking up when you can clearly see the damage on my nails then i left my other phone and they lied and said they never saw another phone when it was out and recording it has been about 4-5 hours at this point and im in more pain than when i left and multiple nails have broke bc they are extremely thin this was supposed to be a break from fake nails and now there more messed up than they would've been if i just got another fill or even full set. it's hard to see but both thumbs and my pinkie still have acrylic this was still in the salon since this four nails have broke read more

Look at this ish! Was getting last week's pedicure color change mf because the paint was messy! This ish is worse. Then the unprofessional manager wants to are "if you don't like I'll fix" if you thought it was fine to charge 21.00 for this raggedy mess why would I trust you to fix!? Very disappointed... I've been a customer here for years. And they always find a way to remind me that they really don't care about their clients or value their time. I always tip well, $20 or more, I came on NYE to get a fill in and pedi.. was asked to come back another day because they were closing in an hour (6pm I guess) and even though I arrived at 4:30 it would be an extended wait. No problem. I'll just have raggedy nails for a couple more days... (yes.. that's extreme sarcasm) I came back today. A Tuesday. It's not busy at all. My pedi was done at 20 til.. I was told to give the technician 15 min to finish her current client and then she'd do my fill in after she eats. No problem. Nancy is amazing. I'll wait. I see Nancy walk past me and go in the break room... stay a few minutes.. then walk back past me.. surely they're coming to tell me it's my turn soon.. FORTY FIVE minutes later I'm still waiting. My toes are dry so I go see how much longer for my fill. They put another customer in her chair!! Wtf?!? I've been there for almost two hours. Nobody came and told me anything. The owners wife sees me LEAVING.. she's like oh you're next just sit here and wait. IVE BEEN WAITING!! She then says this new lady was irate and it was an emergency!! Ummm... unless her finger was falling off what makes her more of an emergency?!? Crazy thing is. A simple APOLOGY could've saved this customer relationship. Instead they just let me sit for almost an hour. I'm so disappointed. It is what it is.. That was my last chance with them. I won't be back. I can honestly do my own nails. On the date of 09/18/2024 I spent $103.63 for a gel mani/pedi and this was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon ever in my whole entire life. The woman who preformed my service whose name was "Mary" was absolutely rude, nasty spirited, and seemingly racist. Mary did not perform the service correctly. Mary did not push my cuticles back or clip them correctly, she did not shape or file my nails and the very next day my gel polish was peeling off. I tried to kindly explain to her that she was not being a good service provider due to her attitude and and how she was conducting the service she rolled her eyes as if what I was saying did not matter even though I spent over $100 for a service. I tried to speak with the owner whose name is "Li" or "Lee" about the service being terrible all he offered was a re-paint of my nails. The owner did not offer an apology for my discomfort or maybe even a discount for the next service . I have been going to this salon for years since I was a young girl with my grandmother who lived in the area and introduced me to this nail salon. Now I'm an adult 30 years old and I'm petrified at how the salon is being ran. Terrible tempers and attitudes for the workers and owner and its run down now with broken chairs and stinky foul smelling towels to wipe your hands or be used for pedicures. ​ Unfortunate how bad this company has become. Since moving to Dayton, I chose Top Nails and my choice salon, but my third time here I was a bit dissatisfied and disappointed. The gentleman, and I use that term loosely was rough, he rushed, and yanked me around like a rag doll. He tried to charge me $5 extra for something (I couldn't understand what he said), when I called who I assume was the manager (she translated the transaction) he started saying never mind and shooed her away. I usually get the deluxe pedicure, but the water was cold, even after I told him several times, but at that point I just wanted out his chair and opted for the standard. I just didn't leave feeling relaxed like I did the first two times. I wish Yelp offered the option to give stars and a half. Sometimes a girl just needs a half. read more

Called ahead. Told 30mins for gel mani. I was seated Immediately. Wanted only a color change. It took 50mins. Tech assumed cuz of nail length that my nails weren't my natural nails n burnt me w/ the sander. I choose a dark color. Tech applied too thinly. Turned out different shades, edges not covered and my nail showing through. Came back to get them fixed. Was given major attitude n told that there was nothing wrong w/ my nails. I paid an extra $25 to get 2 more layers of polished applied. Finally happy w/ the quality of my nails. However, I will not being coming back in the future. read more

All around TRASH! Customer service is nonexistent. Techs apparently just walk in off the street because the services are shoddy and ugly. Literally the worst pedicure and manicure services I have ever seen. Polish everywhere, thick sloppy and lumpy acrylic, low-quality top coat applied messily, crooked nails, top coat changes color (probably not even safe), polish and top coats not fully applied to whole nails, no attention to cuticles or shapes of nails, jagged edges of nails. Today was my first time ever at this place and it's definitely my last. I sat there for an hour and a half before i was assisted. that wasn't the bad part. Not one time did the receptionist assure us that someone would be with us asap. So customer service was awful. i only get over lay on my REAL nails one nails. I ended up with one fake nail. Also i asked for coffin shape and my nails were square and they charged me for coffin. The index finger on the right hand isn't even filed straight. By the time she was finished it was 4:30. i got there around 1:45-2:00. I didn't have time to go anywhere else and i gad a class to teach at 6 so i gad to get home or i would have been staying there all evening until i was satisfied. the lady told me i could come back Monday. No thanks!!! I wish i would have read the reviews first because i would have not stepped a foot in that place. I will NEVER recommend anyone go here. I give this business 1 star, it was a horrible experience; i just had knee replacement surgery on 6/9/20 & went in with my walker. I was told it would be a 20mn wait; an hour later i asked if i would be next & they told me it would be another 45mn wait! I spoke with the manager, who saw me waiting the whole time & his comment was that even though they didn't take appointments regulars did get 1st options; i was also told that even though i was there before others, after my pedi i would have to wait additional time to get my mani done; i took off my mask as i left & said i would've be back & as soon as i got in my car, they called to say that it was my turn & they didn't realize that i was a regular. when I was ready to call the police or have my husband go up there. First of all I don't like that they do not list any prices. I got my nails done there two weeks and they were nice. Really no issues other than the fact the nail tech Q tried to be funny and he was'nt and the fact he took a smoke break and did not wash his hands. I work in health care so I use my hands allot and cracked my thumb nail and decided to go and just get my fill and the nail fix. I sat down and he asked why I was in and that I just wanted my broke nail fixed and the powder color changed. He then started to rip my nails off. I asked him what he was doing and he said it was powder and that he needed to take them off. Ive been getting powder for years and this is a new set. Why are you ripping my nails off. I told him that it was hurting me and my eyes even started to tear up and i asked if he could simi soak them off. He said no and that it would take to long and then began to snatch my hand and start ripping again. I just teared up and said your hurting me and pulled my hand back and he snatched it back again. I just went off. your hurting me and if you do not want to do what I asked then we can just forget it. He said ok, so i got up and left. I called the owner but we all know how that goes. If you have a high tolerance for pain, like being told bad and rude jokes, being charged for things you didnt ask for then Top Nails is your place. I had a horrible experience at this salon. My nails were rushed and weren't even fully painted. I paid almost 60.00 plus tip and when I went back a day later they wanted to charge me 18.00 just to take the polish off and put it back on. The nail tech at table 2 was extremely rude and even threw the nail brush down and snapped at me to go wash my hands when I expressed my dissatisfaction with my nails. I didn't even receive an apology. I didn't even allow them to finish. I left right after the polish was taken off and was charged 10.00 for that even though it their fault I had to come back.
