Due to a tragic accident (mowing the lawn, hit a rock, busted out a quarter panel in our Tahoe), I researched a few company's and ultimately chose A Plus due to the reviews. I am so glad I did. The technicians who came out did a phenomenal job getting all of the broken glass out of the frame and the inside. They took less than an hour and they were so professional. If we ever have anymore accidents I will definitely return back. Also since our deductible on insurance is too high, we paid out of pocket. It was $225.00 for everything including taxes and fees which is cheaper than any where in the area including Safelite. If you need glass to be replaced definitely check with this local business! I could go on and on about our experience and everything that went wrong but I will soon be posting publicly about that in detail along with the many other people that have been taken advantage of by them, they just didn't have anywhere to post about it. We had to return our car to Huntsville around 4-5 times to get messups fixed only for the blame to be put on us, the customer. Below pictures are after they "cleaned" our car after we had to bring it back because as I was pulling out of their business, we noticed the tint was literally hanging off the windshield. We had to personally get this deep cleaned so it wouldn't damage the dash speakers from the gunk they left in our car. (When sent to them, responded with a catty (sorry your dash wasn't perfect.) We had to remove all of the excess tint they left scattered in the car and clean muddy footprints. I have to agree with the other reviews, rarely was the pickup time ever correct. Was told to pick up at 6 (the latest) and showed up 530 and left nearly at 8pm. Another customer was there that said they were told to pick up then too and they still hadn't left when I did. The bumper picture below is after they performed a full "repair" of the damage they claimed we caused the week they installed it. They attempted to charge $800 because they said they had to replace the entire bumper piece. Matt said he saw the damage when he received just didn't know if I wanted them to fix it so he didn't mention it to either of us, we had to point it out. They delivered my car back to my house and before we could even drive it we sent pictures AGAIN showing there was still damage and this time they couldn't blame us as we hadn't even driven it after delivery. Matt suggested "Jesus man, YOU could've hit something in your garage." Keep in mind Hornbuckle parked my car in our garage as we were in Tampa. We are blocked on text and Instagram by them. We have already spoken to a few with similar/worse stories than me. Would've been open to a conversation if the second we pointed out the damage, Matt wouldn't have said to my wife and I "Looks like yall hit something." After asking what their excuse was 4 times after delivering our car after their full replacement of the bumper, how the damage (shown in picture below) could even be there without the car being driven, no response. We wish we would've read the 1 stars on here before choosing them. I had to get multiple rentals and Ubers to make up for their messups and never once was offered anything for this. I promoted this company and in return received a botched job and an absolutely immature and irresponsible owner. When he responds like he does to most reviews with blaming the customer, know he will most likely do the same ole same ole and say that the first time we picked it up, it had no damage. Keep in mind this damage wasn't seen until AFTER we had to bring it back and leave with them for a two week checkup. (He claims he saw the damage but just chose not to tell us?) that's the day we pointed it out, not the day they kept us until almost 8pm. I pointed out to him that other people have publicly called him a "child" and he tried to pull a "I will not be belittled and called a child." before he blocked us. UPDATE: offered a partial refund but only if we brought back our brand new car to them for a 6th time (would never bring my car back) for them to remove the PPF, tint and ceramic. As we sit at a shop to fix their botched job, they told me straight up, why on earth would they want to remove it, it can't be used again... the only reason they could think was a petty business owner. I gave them every option to refund me without having to come back in so I wouldn't have to leave a review/post but unfortunately came to this.

Then after shifting back to drive it would eve to go into limp home mode. These guys read the codes and and had a good talk with the computer on board. Even submitted a question if MB has seen this issue because nothing seemed obvious. They did see comm error found a blown fuse. After that they could not reproduce the problem. They logged computer codes and cleared them. Gave me the car back to see if it would act up again. For all this work they said will charge you when we know we fixed something. I am new to the area and have had 2 mechanics working on my Jetta TDI for many years in Arizona…read more I couldn't get my car started and the owner thought I had to bypass my alarm but after doing my own research with kermatdi and my old mechanic my car didn't need a reprogramming on my ECU. He did correspond on email and called me once, but I had told him that I wanted to use my own oil, filter but he went ahead with a very expensive replacement of my automatic door lock mechanism. They only use Amsoil racing oil ( which I'm sure is very good oil) but I don't need it for my turbo diesel running at low RPM and I doubt it has any anti soot additives like my reasonably priced and reliable synthetic Rotella. So I pick it up and the bill is a whopping $530.00 including (5) quarts of expensive Amsoil (7.99 /quart I think) . I was kind is shocked especially since what had to be done and the cost of the parts and labor was never communicated to me or pre authorized. To his credit, Jay reluctantly gave me a bit of a discount to help be our but it wasn't as good as a military discount every veteran can get at TJ MAXX on Hwy 72. So I went to the fuel station and tried to hit the switch that opens the fuel door, but that switch and also the trunk release switch were both buried deep in the door. So I brought it back sb he did fix it on the spot and then came out and said " that was easy..." ( which makes me wonder why the buttons weren't installed correctly the first time) if I had been very low on fuel and his shop was closed it could gabs been a very big problem. Then I decided to check the oil level and it was clear to me it was overfilled. Then I brought it back ( again) and he checked it but made a comment that it " had to do with the inaccuracy of the dipstick" which is almost impossible because the yellow hard plastic dipstick funnel clicks into place and has no play. He also mebtokd he went off the " manual " that calls for 5.0 quarts but even if he changed the cartridge oil filter there is usual a little in the engine and in TDI forums most people say it holds 4.4 quarts which is about right from previous oil changes, so it definitely was overfilled win could have resulted in one is my rear seals failing as oil seeps over like it's NOT supposed to So I brought it to an oil express and they ignored me but I called up a Pep Boys and talked to a nice young lady who said to bring it in. They got me right in and the mechanic immediately asked " who did this" he removed at least half a quart and got the dipstick to the very top of the hash mark like it's supposed to be! I am a former Air Force firefighter and used to help my Army mechanic friends on my days off my first time in Iraq so I'm not clueless when it comes to how an engine works and how important it is to go off the dipstick and not just put a pre set amount of oil in based on what the book days without double or triple checking. I was planning a long cross country trip and he knew that but the only thing that inspired confidence was when the Pep Boys mechanic said " that's just about exactly where it's supposed to be now on the dipstick " I'm sure this shop does great work for their regular customers as they are the only specialized shop for VW and Audis, especially vintage and High performance ones. But I never got the feeling from Jay what I was a welcomed customer. I almost felt like I was a bother. Especially when I had to come back TWICE to inquire about other problems. Maybe I'll get a chance to have a more positive experience in the future and write a great review and take this one down to replace it with the most recent good review, but unfortunately I have be honest and share my feedback this time. I know one is his mechanics was out sick so I know he was shorthanded svs it was around the holidays but the shortfalls in my visit and expensive repair $$ still happened.
