We hired "Top Notch" just because they were already here in our neighborhood working on a restoration for my neighbor. We had a shower leak water damage. Their scope of work was comprehensive and expertly handled from start to finish. The team efficiently managed the initial water leak mitigation and demolition, followed by seamless drywall repair, detailed plumbing work, and the successful installation of our stand-alone replacement [ tub]. The final tile work in the shower is beautiful and flawlessly executed. They also installed the LVP in my master bathroom and closet. What truly set them apart was their commitment to professionalism: they maintained a consistent daily work schedule, delivered an impressively clean job, and left absolutely no mess at the end of each day. In this real high heat in the last couple of days, our air-conditioning was leaking and we weren't able to use it because we are afraid of water damage. For background, when my previous contractor wasn't working out, I messaged Top Notch and received an immediate response. We had Harrison from Top Notch come out to check on a water leak that Rancho Water was reporting to us. Our property mgmt company (Pure) sent them out. Harrison was awesome! He found 3 separate leaks in the landscaping in the backyard as well as cracks in the irrigation controls which were leaking water. But the primary issue he found was a faulty regulator which was causing our water pressure to be 125psi. He was very professional and worked quickly while explaining everything he was doing. I did not like the service of this company. I had previously written a 1 star review and they reached out to fix the problem however I have to been honest In what working with this company was like. We had an emergency flooding to take care of. The plumber who came out recommended this company for my grandparents problem. I looked at reviews and all seemed great and suggested they move forward. It has been a nightmare. First of all they never came on time. If they gave a window of time, they would show up hours after or even days after. Secondly I felt the guys were very unprofessional. The workers were asking my elderly grandparents for cups of water and what not. Like bring your own refreshments? This your job, you should know how thirsty you get. Then when the job was finally "done" there were pieces of tile that were just laid on the floor, not properly grouted. Being the old fashioned man my grandpa is he wouldn't use the shower until it was properly finished. This was July 13. I contacted Robert multiple times and he continued to give me the run around. Every time I talked to him he would say they were coming today or tomorrow at this time and the tone would come and pass and we'd have to contact him again asking where they are. Then he'd make the same excuse and promise: tomorrow at 4. They just came to show up July 24. Over ten days of him avoiding the issue. the ceiling fan they romoved has not been replaced properly, however they did reach out this morning and came promptly to fully replace the fan which upgrades my review of this business as they did take care of what was left in this situation read more

Yesterday David the Tile Man from Top Notch Flood completed a re-tiling of our downstairs bathroom. We are extremely pleased with the results and would highly recommend David for a tiling job. He responded quickly to our text messages, answered our questions and made suggestions in a way that demonstrated his knowledge and work experience. At first we were only going to re-tile the empty 2' by 3' rectangular area resulting from a plumbing repair under the slab. David advised us that although he would be willing to do this job for us, he advised that we would be better off re-tiling the entire bathroom floor, since the tiles surrounding the empty space were not well attached to the floor and would probably need to be replaced in the near future. I have had the absolute best experience with Robert and his team from Top Notch Flood and Restoration. After the wall adjoining my kitchen and dining room as well as a part of the dining room itself flooded due to a leaking refrigerator water line, I was immediately referred to Top Notch. They came to the rescue the same day. Gerald was the consummate professional. He installed dehumidifiers and fans and began the arduous task of drying out my wall and floor. He carefully and expertly cut through the drywall and pulled up the flooring and began the flood remediation process. I work at a child care center called Homeroom Hourly Child Care in Carlsbad. A major roof leak during a sudden heavy rain storm on 12/6/18 damaged the ceiling, walls, and floors. Bobby, the owner of Top Notch, heard about our troubles and offered to send his crew that night to get the couple inches of water out and start the flood restoration process. He said if the insurance company pays him for it, great, but if not he still wanted to help us. His crew was there past midnight, and when we surveyed the damage the next morning, the water was basically gone and the drying process started. We felt hopeful that the damage could be repaired, whereas the night before we were almost certain the business would have to close. Over the past 2.5 weeks, Top Notch has graciously donated their services, materials, and expertise to help us through this. When our insurance claim was denied, Bobby continued to help us like he said he would. They cut through the drywall and ran fans and dehumidifiers to dry the walls and floor. They removed the damaged ceiling tiles. They removed the damaged vinyl floor in the bathroom. They hauled away the debris from the damaged ceiling tiles, floor, and furniture. After everything was dry, they replaced the drywall that had to be cut out. Bobby has given us advice on how to repair things correctly while saving money, offered or given us free materials (flooring, drywall, light fixtures) and even bought me lunch. He's about to travel out of the country for Christmas and he still told me to call him if we need anything. This guy is a SAINT.
