I saw them listed in the U-Haul list of movers and then checked reviews here and on the U-Haul site. Stan responded to my inquiry and he was easy to communicate with. Everything went really well today. Dillion called in advance to say traffic was backed up due to an accident. His helper, James was already at the house waiting for his arrival. As soon as we did a walk through of where things were going and what my needs were, they started right in. They were very careful with my furniture and always very polite. Terrible job packing what would be considered a fairly small move-and took longer than expected on top of that. Damaged no fewer than 4 items. Supervisor refused to accept responsibility for their lack of care and professionalism even though I communicated my concerns up front and after the job. Great guys. Had some issues with a previous move that day clear across the city, but we had time to be flexible and it worked out very well. Had some challenging pieces of furniture, particularly a desk, but they guys kept trying and got it out safely. read more

I have moved six times in the last six years and this moving company is the worst I have ever used. I supplied straps and blankets and they refused to use the straps and made little use of the blankets. Every piece of furniture we moved was damaged. The bed frame was broken in three spots, they had no ideas how to pack a truck. We were not able to use the bed frame due to the damage. They put heavy boxes on top of light boxes and many of the boxes both plastic and card board were broken badly. Everything in the truck shifted and fell forward making it very hard to unload the truck. I would NOT use this company ever again to move my belongings. They were BAD. read more

Will never use Top-Notch or helpmoving.com again. I booked them when I rented my UHaul. They were rude on the phone, demanded an additional fee for the labor having to drive to my location and then cancelled on me two hours before the appointment because of a chance of rain. Even the guys at the Uhaul facility said they don't recommend using movers from helpmoving.com because this kind of thing happens all the time. read more

Top-notch was called by initial movers when couldn't complete job. Lots of problems, not all showing up at given time, management didn't supply invoices showing hours worked by how many, or calculations for billing cost. So much damage done, workers don't follow directions, wasting time packing what isn't called for when instructed to work on bigger items. Just don't hire them, you'll regret it!!!! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR GOODS.. I thought since the owner told me he was bonded etc., it would be a great company to use, however, the 2 men that loaded my moving truck had no clue what they were doing. I even supplied blankets, rugs etc to use for covering things. Not one of them was used, we found them thrown up front after we unloaded. Over 80% of my furniture was damaged or destroyed. For a month of communicating with the owner sending photos receipts because most of it was brand new after I had moved to Phoenix he had agreed to repay me for part of it. I agreed to settle on a portion not all of it just a portion just on the major items I was willing to let the smaller items that got destroyed go. After he agreed via email to pay me he sends me a check for $400 of the almost $4,000 and tells me too bad. Had changed his mind. this is one company that does not stand behind their work they do not care about the quality of their work and the owner could care less about the happiness of his customer. Most moving companies carry insurance to cover things like this that's why they're bonded obviously this guy should not be in business!! read more

I called a couple of days before the move and they accommodated me with no problem. I even called after hours and they took my call and got me scheduled. They were very friendly and helpful as I had never hired mover before. Stan was who I dealt with on the phone and he showed a great deal of patience with me. On the move day, the two guys showed up and got to work. They loaded my large storage unit and unloaded to my new home I under three hours. My husband and I were very grateful for their service. Wonderful experience from start to finish. We selected this company based upon recommendation from U-Haul. The process for scheduling the movers was super simple. We used a U-Haul truck to move items from our home to a U-Haul storage facility. They were able to determine how many personnel would be required and what size truck I would need. The two gentlemen were on time, extremely helpful in protecting our goods and packing them in the truck in such a way everything was protected. Once at the facility, they unloaded the truck and placed items in the storage unit with precision and care. We'll be using them again when moving to our new home this summer. I only needed two guys for a couple hours and no truck. They moved my furniture from one unit to another in no time at all. That included taking some pieces apart and putting them back together. I would hire them again for sure. read more
