I chose to wait to do anything and was charged 250.50 for his service call, not the 99.00 I was told on the phone. I called Center Point Energy's "Home Service Plus" the next day and they also checked out the heat exchanger and found NO problems. They also informed me that my freon was NOT insufficient and that Tim's Home service was trying to sell me a new HVAC system at 13,000. I was depending on Tim's Home Service to be reliable and informative to me and they were not honest or reliable and will never have them back into my house again. Homeowners beware.

He was thorough and ended up reconnecting all of our plumbing in our new cabinets that got installed today too and added a gas shutoff valve off valve for our clothes dryer. He also told me we needed to get a bio-clean treatment.   We asked for the "cables and snakes" Rooter pipe cleaning,  and Ray said hydrojet is the ONLY solution to fix our backup issue, and he told us also my whole house from the kitchen, bathroom to the basement is clogged (Another LIE). We knew this is not true and Ray is lying because we just had another plumber come an hour earlier and investigated the drainpipe,  and offered different options & prices for our backup issues.  We called "One Hour Rooter" just for a second opinion.   Ray said for $1824 they would hydro jet my mainline and floor drain and warranty the work for 2 years.  Second, for approximately $7000 they would clean and install a liner in my mainline.   I rejected the offer, and he seems upset but finally offered the "cables and snakes" Rooter pipe cleaning for $400.  (Now there is Another option besides Hydrojet). If this guy is being honest and offered different options & prices upfront,  we might use their service.   But using Scare tactics and High-Pressure Sales Techniques won't work nor will scare us. Not only did they far over charge for a service that I didn't need, when I contested the charges based the services they performed, they flat our lied and said they cleared multiple drains and they they did 2 days of work to justify the $2900 charge!!!
