I received a tattoo on my right forearm from one of the supposed artists and it turned out absolutely terrible and childlike cost me $350 and I ended up having to go to another shop to have it repaired by someone that knows how to do tattoos. The next place charge me an additional $350 to repair the ones that was done previously I do not recommend this place. The artist was horrible. read more

I went to him to have a little cactus put on my ankle to commemorate my hometown. When I saw how well this tattoo healed and looked I had to go back. This was my first tattoo. The design was sentimental to me. I went in as a walk in and paid the $100 minimum. A gentleman took great care of me and talked to me while drawing up/prepping for the tattoo and played awesome chill music. I came to this shop and A'Ryan was my tattooist. This is my first ever tattoo. I had some photos of work I'd seen online, so I kind of knew what I wanted. He was professional, low key, and explained everything in advance. He worked up a custom design based on a photo I showed him and asked my approval of placement, design and shading before starting which I gave. The tattoo is a lot darker than I expected, but that's on me (no pun intended). The cost was comparable to others of that size and detail. There is a $100 minimum. Can we just take a moment and discuss COVER UPS. for two years I've been looking for an artist to get what I wanted. Most told me I would only be able to cover my tattoo with flowers. I walked in to this business and I had the expectation of them telling me I can only get flowers. I didn't know what to expect. The whole place is full of artists. I had the privilege of working with Ernie. He immediately asked what I wanted done. I asked for a colorful hummingbird... expecting a no... he looked at my tattoo, took a picture, looked at his iPad and did a drawing in his mind (he air drew it lol) and said "yeah we can do that." I was in disbelief to be honest. I booked the appointment ($100 to book). He gave me a price which was great. Today was the day. 2/15/22. I was nervous. Remember, I've been searching for 2 years with people telling me I can only do flowers and minimal color. He showed me what it would look like and I simply put my faith in him that he could do it. The vibe in there was positive, he walked me through the process, the artist in there were encouraging & friendly. The music was just right. Needless to say, the work was amazing. This is a very comfortable place to come for your first tattoo. The people inside are friendly and helpful. They explained everything about the process as this was a first for me. The inside of the shop is well decorated, lots of cool artwork all over the place. After filling out a quick waiver I was seated on their comfy sofa and offered a bottled water while I waited. Seth prepared everything while I sat and listened to some music. I'm extremely happy with his work and I plan to return when I get a chance. Before I left they gave me a free t-shirt. My husband and I stopped in to Top Rocker Tattoo to inquire about a cover up tattoo that I've always wanted. After talking to the owner/artist Ernie, we new we were in good hands. We dropped our deposit and he got me in a week later and BAM my bad ass cover up is finished. My tattoo took 4hrs and honestly didn't even hurt too much. I was able to sit through the whole thing and didn't even need a break. However, we did take 2 breaks. Ernie is extremely talented and has amazing technique and I felt comfortable the whole time. My beauty mark on my leg had me feeling extremely self conscious to where I'd get anxiety but now for the first time in my life, once I heal, I look forward to wearing a swimsuit with no shorts! My husband and I have an amazing love story that took over 22 years to come full circle. Our first Christmas as man and wife, he wanted to get a piece done for my arm. That was his only present to me and a special one. Long story short I paid a down payment to be shown "art" and the owner's representation of what I wanted. It looked bad. Just bad. Nothing was anything close to a great tattoo. And the worst part wasn't that. It was after respectfully telling him I wanted something a little different, was met with "you won't affect me, I make 200$ an hour". Ok. Well. It's supposed to be on MY body forever. So I can't imagine any "artist" who doesn't listen to the person paying for their "art". You will never grow if you don't listen to your audience. I came here Saturday spontaneously for a couple of simple, small tattoos and they happened to have an opening right then and there. Rick was awesome and did such a good job. Came out exactly how I pictured it and more. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The shop is comfortable, I love how Rick had a pillow! Made me feel at home. ***PLEASE READ!!*** I had heard so many great things about this tattoo shop but when I went with my husband we were highly disappointed. I'm not the type of person to complain, I'm usually very easy going and kind (I was also in the customer service industry so I know how that can be). Last week my husband and I went into Top Rocker and made an appointment with Aryan. He was very kind and welcoming. Our appointment was scheduled for today and everything started to go south really quick. Last week he told us he was going to give us a phone call when he finished working our designs so that way we could stop by the shop and finalize details of the tattoo. Up until yesterday we didn't hear from him at all. My husband actually had to reach out to get information about it. He said he was still working on them and then asked my husband if we could come in at 2:30 for the appointment (it was originally scheduled for 5). We called back to let him know that my husband would be there at 2:30 and I would come right after I got off of work. Today my husband showed up at 2:30 and waited for 45 minutes with no sign of Aryan. He came home and later received a text asking if we could come back for the original scheduled time at 5. I was already very irritated at this point but thought that we'd give it another try. 5 MINUTES before 5pm we received another text where he asked if we could reschedule for the next day. He had two different excuses of why he wasn't there in the first place and then why he needed to reschedule. Upon arrival he showed us the designs and they were nothing like what we asked for. This was very surprising because we sent photos to him to ensure that he was able to bring the art we had in mind to life. He also could not quote a price for my husband's tattoo. He also quoted mine to be $200 last week, but then today told me that it would be $300. After asking for a refund on our deposits he told us we couldn't get it back because he already drew the design (even though it was wrong and he did it last minute!) We left because we both felt irritated and uncomfortable with the situation. This is not our first time getting tattoos, we have multiple so I know we aren't being unreasonable. Other artists we have gone to were very professional and made us feel heard and valued, but Top Rocker did the opposite for us. We will not be back and will make sure to let others know about our experience so they avoid this shop as well. read more

Tried to take several people in to get small tattoos smaller than a quarter in size. Nothing extreme, small cross for the guys and small hearts for the ladies. We were looking to get something very basic work done and the fellow on the phone seemed to say everything we wanted to hear to get us in the door. Once we got inside the guy told us the store policy was 100.00 minimum per person. We thought long and hard about that and decided to not get them done. The unprofessional gent then said he hope we went somewhere else and to comeback to him so he could fix there F-up were his words. Started getting a large back piece early 2020. The artwork far exceeded my expectations. The shop is clean and comfortable. I was given the price up front. I have had quite a bit tattoo work in the past so I knew what to expect. It was suggested for a long sitting to eat right and stay hydrated. That impressed me as I was never given that advice before. Everyone was friendly but beyond that they really seem to enjoy what they do. I've been in the chair now for several hours on various days and have had a chance to see them interact with clients. I can tell they really care about the customer experience and how the final product will look for years to come. It's a fully immersive art experience with paintings all over the walls that the owner, Ernie 'Serv 1" Rojas, has done. They are worth the visit alone. My tattoo is progressing so well. Rick did an AWESOME JOB! I walked in and wanted to get a wedding ring tattoo and he was more than accommodating. Super helpful in the creation of the art, laying it in my finger (several times) because I'm super picky and was speedy and precise when he actually tattooed. Rick was a really cool guy! I got a tattoo here a few years ago so I'm just making my review off of that. First off, lovely location and upon visiting family I thought it would be a great place to get a tattoo. The man who booked my appointment was very nice and set me up with an artist. To this day, I don't think either of them gave me his name. I showed up to the shop to get my tattoo, a simple script piece on the side of my wrist. I will also say the shop was clean and very well put together. However, my artist did not listen to me at all and the resulting tattoo is a disaster. The ink blew out, half the design came off in two days, and once transferred onto my skin he tattooed it a size too small. I was not happy, but was upset enough to just go home. I returned a few weeks later in hopes of getting the blown out part fixed and was told it was my fault. I was offended because I have other tattoos and some in quite difficult to heal areas and they've done swimmingly. Now, years later people see the tattoo and think it's fake or something I got done in a garage. I'm very embarrassed by it. I sincerely hope this unnamed artist was fired since I'm just over it and won't ever be back. read more
