Went in last week as a walk in with a friend. Found it very odd artist Kayla? Katie? Something like that waited until she was mid tattoo for my friend to tell us the prices, and then when she finished them both she didn't put any second skin or type of barrier on them. My friend got an upper leg tattoo and she just had to cover her tattoo back with her pants afterwards because she didn't wrap anything? Then when she did my arm tattoo didn't shave my arm (there was noticeable hair) and when she finished same thing. She wiped it and asked to take a photo which was nice of her, but this was my 9th or so tattoo and never had I been somewhere that the artist didn't cover the tattoo. (Especially in the heat as it was 94 degrees in Arizona). Artist was friendly enough and had some banter conversation for the half hour max we were in there between filling out forms and both getting tattoos and paying but something still seemed off about the entire experience. It was just okay? I'm possibly under the impression because my friend and I both had viewable tattoos already that she thought we didn't want/ need any aftercare? But like I said I've never been to a shop that didn't wrap the tattoo in something- hell even Saran wrap! She was clearly early twenties and possibly newer to tattooing so maybe but you would think simple things like talking tattoo price or proper wrapping care would be taken care of? Overall esthetic and vibes of the shop was nice(hence the 3 stars) I'm just not sure if all the artist have her same work ethic and technique.. wouldn't risk going again just from that experience. read more

Changed to 3 stars- the tiny little stud they pierced with constantly falls out. The ball at the bottom is so small it doesn't help it stay in place. I've been dealing with it falling out constantly. I shouldn't have to change my jewelry so soon this should last me- the girl didn't mention anything about "change in 1 day because this doesn't last". She didn't have hoops "they were ordered" so I got a stud and ordered a hoop online. Middle of the night and this stud fell out in my bed somewhere, can't even find and hopefully it won't close by the time I can go buy jewelry. confusing as they are doing construction but the lady (sorry didn't even catch your name lol) was very sweet and apologetic for the confusion as they were using a different space while remodeling was done. Pierced my nose. Super quick and easy. However with this crappy stud and the struggle it falling out all the time I wouldn't recommend unless they provide better jewelry read more

And expecting to wait forever, with yesterday being the Friday the 13th, but neither one of them happened.. the customer service was the best I have ever experience. First off, I love tatts, just hate going into shops for the first time. Most I have run into seem as though they have no time for you or you aren't important. Here is where this place shines! I reluctantly walked in to look around and get ideas and talk with the artists there. As soon as I walked in I was met with smiling faces and welcomed. Blew me away. The guys in there were amazing, and very patient with me as I tried to explain to them what I was looking for. They showed me a bunch of options and examples of similar work of theirs on past clients. They came up with a quick computer rendition of what I was wanting. They told me to come back and they would draw it up and make it unique/as bad ass as their past work. That service and friendliness alone deserves the rating. I'm hoping to get back to Pheonix to get it done...my fault I should have gone there earlier in my business trip. read more

Hands down. 5 stars. Very clean and sterile environment. Jorge did a 3D butterfly on my shoulder yesterday and I am absolutely in love. I will never go to a different tattoo artist. He is absolutely unbelievable and very talented indeed. I sent him a picture of a real blue morpho butterfly and he was able to duplicate the colors and details even better than I ever imagined. A few months ago I went to Amanda to get a few piercings. She was professional. And very comforting as one of them made me a bit nervous. I also was suffering from migraines. She pierced my right daith as i was suffering migraines more on the left side, and i have not had a migraine since! Brian did an amazing job on my sunflower! When I first called in, it's was around 8 & the shop closes at 10. He invited me to come in and if need be, they would keep the shop open late to finish my work then & there. We discussed the price, and to make me more comfortable, he offered to split it into 2 separate payments and sessions. Not only to ensure my financial comfort, but to ensure that the tattoo healed better, and to make sure I could tolerate the pain. Everyone in the shop was friendly and during both of my sessions, they all sat and chatted with me. Super great and kind environment, I would definitely recommend going there. read more

Well I just removed my two pics giving a big high five. My artist is no longer with them. I called a couple of days ago to see if he was there and Amanda said he was in California. I said "ok" and began telling her what I wanted to get done. A stupid 2" long, six letter name of my new grandbaby. Maybe 3/4" high ... I got one in SD for $40.00 and I got one in OB for $50.00. She said she could do it in like three or four hours since she would have to wait for her husband to get home. She also said she would take up to an hour to do it, saying she doesn't do it all the time & is slow and careful. She also said it would be $130.00! The tat I just removed from this site is 6" X 3" dragon and was $250.00!!! Holy mother of god!?? I didn't want to pay your month's rent - I just wanted my grandson's name. read more

We had a slight hiccup with a service (a while ago) and Amanda handled it amazingly well by directly dealing with my daughter and I and took very good care of us to find a solution. This place cares 100% for their customers, hands down, and takes pride in their workmanship and services. Amanda is a top notch person. I really don't believe anyone else would have taken such attentive care of my daughter as she did, when it came to my daughter's piercing. Had my nose pierced by Amanda tonight. She's awesome! Very considerate and isn't pushy at all. The shop gave me her phone number since they weren't able to give me a pricing. I texted her and she messaged me back very promptly. We set up an appointment for the following day. The set up was very clean. I saw her wipe everything down before I came into the room. Everything was clean and new out of packaging. She made sure to spray EVERYTHING. The piercing itself was very quick and she had light hands so it was pretty painless. Great customer service skills from everyone in the shop. They all greeted me when I walked in and were very polite. It has been about 2 weeks since I got my tattoo done here and the scabs fell off so I can really see what the end result is and I am not happy with it what so ever. After I got it I could see that the line work was sh**. It is a simple heart I didn't think one would find it possible to mess up. The guy who did it had a shaky hand the whole time. Said he didn't know why he always shakes in this area. I got it done on my hand. Now that it is mostly healed it is just washed out and has gaps of no color and lines that go outside the design. It looks like I did it myself with a paper clip. The tattoo is a 1 Star and that's being generous but I gave another star because even though my tattoo is terrible the two people that were working, the piercer and the man who did my tattoo (don't know his name but he was white and bald) were very friendly and welcoming. He did state that I could come back and get a touch up but honestly I would not ever go back and Im glad I did not get a huge piece that I would be stuck with. read more

I recently got a tattoo from Mad Tatter and I am really pleased with the results! The shop was VERY clean and professional. The staff was all very friendly. The artist, George, took his time drawing everything up to get it exactly how I wanted it. He never got annoyed when I wanted to tweak something or modify it. The price was a little higher then I had been quoted by some other people, but still nothing outrageous. While we were there my husband talked with one of the other artists about finishing up his sleeve. The guy gave an AWESOME deal for everything.
