I wanted a certain orbital but he said not only is my ear not as pronounced there, it's a very complex healing process. Luckily I had already researched Old West & liked another orbital picture they posted to Yelp so that one was my second choice & Torin was all over it! He measured & placed it PERFECTLY. Plus I got a flat piercing & he placed that perfectly as well in comparison to my other piercings. His commitment to health & safety is unmatched & both piercing are healing so well with the saline solution I bought from Old West. I came back exactly a month to get the shorter post needed for my flat and it was just such a pleasure to show Torin how great they both look! When we got into the shop, everyone was so friendly and helpful, it made the tattoo experience even better. Me and my twin brother got the same tattoo on our right forearm but with different artists, below: My twin brother (blue) got tattoo by Anthony Vassalli (white shirt) and my artist was Moises Ramos (black shirt). Went in for the Friday the 13th piercing deal and had a terrible experience. I asked for a vertical…read morelabret and the piercer didn't even clean my lip or remove my makeup before piercing. When she marked the placement I told her TWICE that it looked crooked and she kept saying "no you're perfect." Well... it came out extremely crooked just like I said it would. She also gave me a ridiculously long bar. I understand leaving room for swelling, but this bar was so long it literally looked like an eyebrow piercing sticking out of my lip. The aftercare advice was also completely wrong. She told me to clean it with water and Dial soap instead of saline or saltwater, which is standard piercing aftercare. She pierced my friend's nose too and gave him a bar that was too short with no room for swelling. He even asked if she had a longer bar and she said no and pierced him anyway. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first, but I went to another piercer for a second opinion and they confirmed everything: the placement is crooked, the jewelry is wrong, and the aftercare advice was bad. She was nice, but the service and piercing quality were terrible. I would not recommend getting pierced here.

I didn't want to be annoying so I quietly sat hoping someone would walk out lol an artist did come out after around 10 minutes of waiting (he was working with someone else) and he asked if I had been helped. I let him know I hadn't and was a walkin, not waiting for a particular artist. He went back and brought out Jason immediately. Jason was super friendly and made me feel completely at ease. He asked what I would like and where. He pulled up some fonts for me and helped me choose the perfect one. We went back and he sized it down a little (per my request) and then began setting/placement. He placed it a few times for me trying to get it just right (I believe 4 or 5 times). He tweaked a couple of things that I didn't care for in the font and I really appreciate him taking time with me to make it come out perfectly. We were able to talk music a little and he has exceptional customer serivice. He explained the aftercare (which is a neat little clear bandaid) which I have never used before and gave me a packet of the product they recommend. The shop has a $100 minimun and an atm in the lobby. I didn't realize they took cash only so Jason was nice enough to let me run over to frys and get cash. Overall, the shop is clean and well maintained and they are very friendly there! I definitely recommend stepping in and checking out their work. They have some cool dudes (: Thank you again, Jason!
