It finally got here and they proceeded w the work. He said it was done to his satisfaction and expected payment. I paid him in Cash for the full amount. We discussed there was a trim piece missing (see pic) and he, Bud Snyder the owner, assured me it would get that done asap when they got the piece. I should NOT have paid him until the 5 foot trim piece was put on but I thought I could trust him for it. It's been over a year now. I've tried calling him and left a message. I tried talking to him in person and he was very RUDE and disrespectful in front of my adult daughter. Would I hire him again? No.

They were not the least expensive, but they were competitive, so we chose them based on their honesty about materials, installation and how long it would take to procure and ship the parts to Albuquerque. I am a civil engineer myself. the material took six months to arrive and Bud kept us informed during that interim. Once it came in, Bud's crew took three days to install. The selected pergola is certainly the right one and they did a great job installing it and also correcting a problem in our patio paver floor that makes the work even better for a very reasonable cost. The crew is clearly talented and savvy, work hard and were always on time. The finished work is excellent - could not be more pleased. Good value, great work and quality, do what they say they are going to do... I highly recommend Awnair Awnings

Hands down worst vendor experience I've ever had. I gave them the job in January with an early May…read moreabsolute deadline my client needed met. I had to continuously call and beg to get information/updates. Promises were made and broken many times and ultimately they only got half the sign up for the big client event and only vinyl on the monument in place of the dimensional lettering. They had never even finished making the sign. I had to call the owner, who promised to help me. He said the sign would then be down that week. Flash forward to several weeks and many messages later and the thing is FINALLY done. The company is now acting like it is no big deal and "just part of the business we're in". Fully unacceptable in any business. They don't care about getting the job done. They will charge you either way, not apologize and not take any responsibility.

Fast forward a few years and some of the bulbs burned out. They said they would "take care of it". A couple of weeks later some workers showed up (with no notice) and removed some of the bulbs. While I didn't think it would be free, I also would have expected an estimate before they started work on things. I certainly wasn't expecting an invoice for $1350! I will say they did at least let me pay it off over a few months because I definitely didn't have $1350, and would not have authorized the work if I had been given an estimate. Fast forward to last month. I was moving offices and asked for an estimate to move the sign. This is an indoor sign hanging from hooks on the ceiling. I was told it was "full day" of work and therefore $1,500. So, I had my movers do it instead. It added 15 minutes to their job. Not very complicated. Obviously the movers couldn't hang it, so I again contacted Zeon. I was told hanging the sign from the ceiling would be $165 per hour, two hour minimum. Obviously that was a lot, but I figured they would be least likely to drop it, etc. so I bit the bullet and signed up for it. Not surprisingly, it took them 40 minutes, tops. And, I'm only 10 minutes from their shop, so even with travel time that would be an hour. But, I had agreed to the two hour minimum, so figured oh well, just more money to Zeon. Then I get the bill - and it's for $100 OVER the two hour minimum. Oh hell no! I already donated an hour to them, and they are now expecting me to pay more. So tired of being overcharged by them. They did amend the invoice (after I complained) but it makes me wonder how often they are over-billing people. My guess is all the damn time because it's happened to me twice now (and would have been three times if I had hired them to move the sign). I never leave bad reviews, but this place is too much. They obviously must be the only show in town because they just charge whatever they want and have extremely poor communication skills. Not a good combination.
