I've done several articles of clothing from here that I really loved. There is plenty of street parking around, and you can walk to other stores and restaurants just a ways down the street. This was not just Tea, this was a bounty of tea, they had so many different types and flavors of tea (40+) that you sort of want to try them all, while technically you can as the tea is unlimited, but trust me you won't as the two pots of tea you start with, is a lot of tea for two! Sure, in a larger group you can try a lot more, but it's still a lot of tea. The Grand Tea, High Tea option was what we went with, and you started with a soup, followed by a tiered selection of sandwiches, desserts and scones. I assumed that I would have a snack here and then get something else to actually eat but I was filled to the brim when I left here. This place was full to capacity when we went, but you did not feel encroached on, the owner Louisa, the servers, all amazing, welcoming and nice. I feel like I was a bit unprepared as everyone else was dressed up with little hats, and my wife and I had no little hats! Next time, I will 100% at least sport that little hat, and there will be a next time, absolutely great experience!

Being from Brooklyn I appreciate small specialty shops that carry unique items you normally would not find at the local mall or large box department stores. So after hearing about this new little shop from a good friend I decided to check it out while passing through the city of Escondido. The shop itself is actually pretty far from the freeway exit. Expect to drive at least 15 minutes inland to find it. No big deal since Escondido has some cool little shops and Cafes off Grand Ave. Anyway when I arrived nobody greeted me or even acknowledged me...no 'Hi', no welcome" or even a simple head nod now I am big on customer service in fact i prefer to shop and support small businesses like this because the majority of the time they treat you like a guest. This sadly was not the case. Now I could understand if they are busy and helping other people but nobody was in the store when I arrived. The only guy working was talking on his cell phone and cussing the entire time. I had my 6 year old nephew with me and did not appreciate his language. He couldn't have cared less if I was in the store or not. I believe his name was Mike or Mark since he was talking so loud I couldn't help but hear his entire phone conversation. Anyway besides the poor service the shop has a wide variety of merchandise. Yes it is overpriced and many of the things you can probably buy for cheaper at Kobes Swapmeet. I chose not to buy anything from them and will not be visiting again. read more

Top Shelf Gift shop in Escondido is one of the best smoke shops I've ever been to not just because of the great selection but because of the GREAT customer service!!! They seem like they really care there & are willing to give you a great deal just so you go back!! I also love the fact that they support local artist, I will def be going to back & telling all my friends to go there!! They be on the east side of Escondido but the drive is def worth it cause of the customer service & prices!!!
