Top Shelf has been one of my go-to beer/liquor stores for years. The owner is a knowledgeable and amiable guy who knows his stuff and is always a delight to encounter. They have a good selection on hand, especially for a bourbon/whiskey fan - currently sipping on some quality Nikka Coffey Grain Japanese whiskey I bought from there last week. If he doesn't have what you're looking for, he can order it. And he's smart enough to recommend a good alternative option, as well. The guy (wears glasses)who works behind the counter has very poor customer service skills. He promises his customers that he will order certain selections of their choice just to get you in the door and never follows through. I went to his store ready to purchase some of my favorite wines (as promised) but after several visits, realized this guy was a terrible joke. He states "oh I forgot to order again" then goes on to say he guesses it's not that important to him, what a jerk! Don't be fooled by his lies people, there are much better stores in the area and on the other side of Cobb. I won't continue to spend my money in a business when they are deceitful. Beware, you've been warned, he and is store won't ever get my business again, they probably won't be open much longer anyway. If there was an option for no stars, he would not get any from me. read more
