I'm a regular here at least once a week. Best sushi in the Tomball Spring area. Great happy hour specials on food and bevies. Love the miso soup, fried calamari-nicely battered and not overcooked. Favorite roll is the Daddy Doo in soy. Waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and Diana, the manager, is outstanding and keeps the place humming. Hands down the best sushi in the area. The wife and I have tried the few sushi restaurants in the Tomball area and have found our selves wanting something more. Well Top Sushi has filled the void. First off let's talk about their sushi, they have a plethora of original sashimi and their own delicious sushi rolls. On the cooked side I recommend the Louis V roll which is to die for, on the raw side I have fallen deeply in love with the Daddy Doo and Top Notch roll. The owners are very nice and are frequently at this location and helping to the support the staff. For apps you can't pass up the crab puffs and sui gyoza . . . Some of my favorites. The fried rice is amazing no matter what protein you chose, one of the best I have ever had. This place is new and popular (for good reason). It's clean, well kept and has excellent service. We went at regular dinner time on a weeknight and it wasn't exceptionally packed (actually probably on the slow side). Their happy hour is a steal for their most popular rolls. Service was speedy. We chose to order a few rolls at a time so our table wasn't flooded all at once and could try a few at a time. The sushi bar is open and visible to watch them make your rolls. Or you could sit at the bar in front of them. Our They have your favorite speciality rolls and even simple (kid friendly) rolls. Our waitress brought over chopstick helpers without us even having to ask. Thank you! Not many sushi places have Naruto rolls, but this place does and it's delicious! The menus need to be wiped down and the restroom door to the restrooms themselves needs to be cleaned. Fingerprints and grime from top to bottom. The bathrooms were ok but could be cleaner. Staff sitting around on phones could be cleaning in down time. I also had the displeasure of stepping in something sticky ? As I proceeded out I stuck and squeaked across the floor. The experience here was very disappointing. The waiters are trash. My fiancé and i sat at our table for more than 30 minutes without being acknowledged. The restaurant was not busy at all and i made eye contact with two white male waiters multiple times. Two white teenage boys sat right next to us and got service within 5 minutes of sitting there.
