    Grilled Salmon Green Curry (GF)
    Jeremy D.

I've been here twice but I don't remember what I got the first time and how the experience was. In my most recent dinner experience. We ordered: - tom kha with chicken - flavors were good, but chicken was dry. - pad see eww - flavors were also fine but beef was extremely chewy. - grilled salmon with curry on the side - salmon was overcooked; without the curry on the side, the vegetable vegetables and salmon would be extremely bland Not sure how they were out of sticky rice when had just opened at 4:30 PM. The server was really sweet, but I just don't see myself coming back for a third time because the food is just very mediocre to me.

We visited on a Thursday evening around 5:30PM and this place was packed! We were so surprised, but that's a good sign, right? Parking is a bit rough, there is about 3 available spots in front of the store and the rest is residential street parking. Which required a permit if you visit Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM(some something similar). Weekends, no parking restrictions. It took roughly 10-15 minutes before we were seated, they were so busy I think the lady just didn't have time to seat us. When we got seated, it was another 30 minutes before we were able to order. Then another 15 minutes before we got food. So from arrival to food was about an hour. Which was all fine for us since my friends and I were catching up! If you're here for a quick meal, that may not work out. By the time we finished our food and ordered dessert, they were closing(9PM). It was a very slow process, but the lets talk about the food: The food was very well seasoned and delicious! What we ordered: - Papaya Salad - 5/5 Fresh, crunchy, good portions and delicious. Maybe one of the best ones I've had, the spice was good but not unbearably spicy! - Chicken pad thai - 4/5 Good, but I definately wished there was some bean sprouts, peanuts and lime to add some texture. It was more like a big bowl of very well seasoned noodles with chicken. Which is good, but felt like it was missing something! - Mango curry - 5/5 Delicious, no spice really. Creamy and paired very well with the rice. They really put chunks of mango in the curry! - Bamboo shoot stir fry - 4/5 My favorite are bamboo shoots and there werent a whole lot of it. Nonetheless, it was good, but I was sad there wasn't enough bamboo. - Mango sticky rice x2 - 3/5 Good, but clumpy and very very sweet. The most sweetened Mango sticky rice I've ever had, they must've added a lot of sugar to the coconut milk. We had to use the back of our spoons to get the rice clumps mixed into the coconut milk. Overall, it was a good experience. Table service was kind of nonexistent, so it took a long time to get our orders and they were so busy we never got any water refills. The place is very cute though, very cozy. The plates were really pretty too, id viait again!

Inside of crispy roll-was okay, not memorable

Dropped by for lunch. Got several new items to try. Highly recommend the rice noodles as the chewy texture is perfect. Price-wise in this high inflation poor job market economy, this is one of the best places to get lunch on a budget. Thai dishes were spot on. Not a fan of the crispy rolls due to the content. Didn't have the nice mouth feel due to the ingredients but was very crispy. Please note containers and bags are additional charge.

I called ahead to order a Green Papaya Salad and Chicken Satay skewers and was told the order would be ready in 40 minutes. I arrived after 40 minutes as instructed, but after checking in at the counter, I was repeatedly told to wait. I ended up standing there for another 30 minutes without anyone helping me or providing any updates. When I finally asked again, I discovered that my takeout order had been sitting next to the counter the entire time. No one informed me it was ready. What should have been a simple pickup turned into a 75-minute wait. Being ignored while my food was already prepared was extremely frustrating. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Super delicious, omgosh, I tried the pad thai with shrimp and the Phuket seafood with a lemonade (the lemonade went perfect with everything) flavors had me wiggling my toes while I was eating, I didn't even mind the price I paid....love

Never goes wrong with this place. I usually eat in there but today I ordered Togo and was impressed with their packaging. All lids were close tightly and extra bag for the curry. For stuffed chicken wings, they left one side of the box opened so it won't get soggy. No need to mention about the taste.... Great as always.

Pineapple Fried Rice chicken Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with beef

I ordered pineapple fried rice and Pad Kee Mao from Top Thai. The quality is decent and portion is big. I would love it a little more salty, but it is still flavorful. The interior design is unique. I will dine in next time. The staffs are nice and patient. They served my phone order within 15 mins.

We came here on a weekday and the place was pretty packed. It took awhile for someone to take our order, about 10 minutes. We ordered the pad Thai with chicken, the yellow mango curry with chicken, and the egg rolls. We thought the food was just okay. The egg rolls were super oily and had little flavors that I would have thought egg rolls would have. The mango curry did not seem like there were any mangos - it just seemed like bland yellow curry with dry chicken. The pad Thai was the only saving grace - it had good flavors as expected for pad Thai. But the chicken meet was dry and pretty much inedible. Not sure we would come back.

I got the shrimp, pet Thai, chicken wings with dipping sauce, a side of white rice and some fried banana bananas. All of it was fresh and delicious and was delivered through DoorDash . Quality ingredients with delicious flavor . Give them a try you will be glad you did . Bon appétit

Top Thai is true to its name and has over the last 3 years I went there weekly in seeing my dad in Hayward while in Hospice, of top quality food, service and friendly ambience. The pumpkin and Salmon curry are my favorites, along with authentic Thai ice tea and fresh Mangoes and Sticky Rice for dessert.

We had the purple-colored Ube Pancakes and the Khao Hom Waffle, which contained strips of fresh coconut meat, and both beautifully-plated dishes were topped with berries and syrup. I was an even bigger fan of the Thai side of the menu, starting with the Papaya Salad, a refreshing, crunchy mixture of shredded papaya, green beans, tomatoes, and crushed peanut in a spicy, sweet, acidic dressing made of fish sauce and lime. For our mains, the Northern Thai Khao Soi was a noodle soup made of egg noodles and chicken breast strips in a rich coconut curry, topped with crispy egg noodles, pickled cabbage, and fried shallots. From the Chef's Special menu, the Tom Yum Crab Omelet was a mound of jasmine rice enveloped with an egg omelet, topped with chunks of crab, mushrooms, and a creamy tom yum sauce; and my favorite dish was the Roti Gai Tod, a hearty combination of breaded chicken thigh, roti (a flaky flatbread), cucumber salad, jasmine rice, and a mild but flavorful yellow curry sauce on the side. Overall, everything we tried here was delicious, and the service was super quick and friendly too! It's hard to go wrong with anything on the extensive menu--what a great hidden gem of a restaurant in downtown Hayward!

However, Pad Thai Cuisine is very different. My son and I decided to try Pad Thai Cuisine today because we just happened to be in the area. I am so glad that we did! The exterior of the restaurant looks like a house with a cute little white picket fence. As you walk onto the porch, there is a door to the right of it. You open the door and the reception area is just right ahead. We were greeted by a young lady named Jasmine. She is super sweet and friendly. We were told that we were welcome to sit anywhere we liked, so we decided to take a window seat. Where we sat, we can see the little garden and the main street. There weren't a lot of customers, but wasn't empty either. Jasmine asked us what we wanted to eat. Since it was our first time there, we asked for her suggestions. She recommended curry and fried noodles. She also told us that our meal came with drinks (only for lunch), so my son and I ordered Thai Ice Tea. This is no ordinary Thai Ice Tea. It wasn't overly sweet and the tea was brewed. I could be wrong, but it really tasted like they used tea leaves to make the tea. I didn't ask though. I should ask. After talking to Jasmine, we decided to order Chicken Yellow Curry with rice and Pork Pad See Ew. Let me start with the Chicken Yellow Curry, it had bell peppers, onions, chicken and potatoes. I have never had potatoes made this way before. It was soft (not mushy) and the center was firm (not raw). It was made to perfection! The chicken was not dry, the curry was not too spicy and very well balanced with the curry seasoning. It was served along side with a small amount of rice. The Pad See Ew, was so delicious! The noodles were not clumped together. When I took the first bite, I can taste the wok hay (Chinese for taste of the strong fire that the wok that the noodles were cooked in. The pork was very tender with a tad bit of fat that made it just right to bite into. We requested it to be mild because I can't handle spicy food. However, if you like spicy food, I say go for it! Last but not least, the dessert! There were 3 choices, but we ordered the mango with sticky rice. It was AMAZING! The sticky rice was not mushy, the mango was sweet and did not contain a lot of fibers. Small amount of coconut milk to be drizzled on top. I felt my palate being in heaven. Pad Thai Cuisine is owned by a Laotian family. It's owned and run by grandma, mom, aunts and two daughters. Grandpa is retired, but also helps with ordering and picking up ingredients when they run out. It's a very unique and cozy place to enjoy some delicious Thai Cuisine. Don't take my word for it. You must go and try it out yourself! I will be returning to the restaurant to try other delicious food that they have to offer! I will also be writing more about the story of Pad Thai Cuisine restaurant. We need to support more mom-and-pop restaurants! More story and pictures to Come...
