Only six kids could fit on the range to shot at a time. Again super small room. Targets were bad. One was made of a something like recycled old tires. The kid shooting next to mine his arrows kept hitting the target and fell out. Poor kid couldn't get points because of it. I would not recommend this place for anyone.

From reservations, to checking in, to lane usage, the whole journey was refreshingly smooth making for a very fun time. The facility was exceptionally clean, well staffed, and the displays of equipment were impressive. Upon entrance, I was immediately greeted by a bright and friendly woman who helped me get acquainted with the procedures. I was checked in by a delightful man named Tim. Tim had also helped me with my reservation and made sure, I was accommodated appropriately. Very professional. This was my first time at a gun range and my experience was limited, so I really appreciate how Tim understood my situation and included other staff members to help make sure I was comfortable with lane and weapons handling. A cool thing I learned, most of the staff is current or prior military. People who really know their trade and love what they do. I respect that. I was also introduced to a superb training instructor named Craig Terry. Craig helped refresh me on the fundamentals and guided me as I re-familiarized myself with the M15. Craig is observant and tuned into exactly the guidance I needed. Craig is respectful. His instruction and patience truly revitalized my confidence and gave me the best insight on what I needed to focus practicing on. I am very grateful to the time Craig gifted me. The lanes are comfortable, clean, and spacious. I didn't feel any hindrance about my surroundings and locking in was seamless. The target was easy to adjust and set nice and fast. The policies made sense and operations were a breeze. Ammo was decently priced and accurate to market value. All costs were very reasonable, especially for the atmosphere provided. I am impressed with the variety of weapons activities offered and particularly pleased with the variety of rentals available. I am beyond satisfied with what I paid for what I got. I had such a great time at Saddle River Range and I've been bragging about the place since. I already reserved two more sessions and I plan to bring a friend. I can see this becoming a weekly activity for me. Get this, they have a discount Happy Hour Monday - Thursday and free full-auto on Friday!

Stopped into Dicks Sporting Goods when Academy wasn't able to or willing to assist me and was…read morepleasantly surprised. We avoided Dicks in California because of the prices, poor service and lack of sporting good items that we actually use. Well, Dicks here in Texas is completely different. Outstanding customer service from the employees and Dicks actually had sporting equipment that we actually use. First off, I needed to have by tennis and racquet ball rackets re-wrapped and the staff was more than happy to assist me with this. It addition to this, they had a really good selection of fishing equipment to choose from which is always a plus for me! Dicks also had a good selection of darts, flights, boards and accessories for me and my wife to choose from. They also had a giant selection of Pickleball paddles and accessories along with a couple of staff members who are very well acquainted with the sport and able to provide some great advice in choosing a set of paddles. We were really impressed with what Dicks had to offer and will definitely be returning when we need to purchase some kayaks.

This location being fairly new gave me the opportunity to look around for 1. my compression socks and 2. for a sale on Golf equipment. The staff was very helpful and provided me with a tape measure and helped me find the right size of the product I was looking for. Perusing around the store, it offered a similar layout to other locations I have been to so nothing new and exciting, but it is great to have access to the store between the city located South and country to the North.

Carl was great with our kids, patiently baiting hooks, repairing gear, and instructing them on what to do. If you are an "out of towner" (like we are), his natural Texas disposition is both charming and entertaining and you'll love chatting with him. Will look him up again next time we're in town!
